The traditional room was great! Honestly loved it. Gave me that nice Japanese vibe I wanted and bathing in the bath house was a plus cause each time I went it’s like I had the whole place to myself. Really added onto the whole Japanese lifestyle. Great place in my opinion

The customer service was excellent. The team helped us expedite our luggage delivery to Narita. They were very kind, accommodating, and courteous to all their visitors. The cleaning team was also polite and kind. When we went to cycle around the neighbourhood, they were very kind to inform us about tourist spots in the area especially we were on the search for cherry blossoms. 🌸😁 I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family. Thank you for our wonderful stay in your hotel.

Une chambre type japonaise. Un bain public commun. Une arrivée pas très agréable car on nous demande si on veut que la chambre soit ou non nettoyée pendant nos 3 jours de séjour... Choix d'une chambre fumeur, mais le couloir des parties communes empestait beaucoup trop la cigarette, pas d'aération. Les moquettes de ce dernier étaient tachés... Dans la chambre, la salle principale était agréable avec ses assises japonaises. Mais l'état des futons était limite: déchirés à certains endroits et aussi très fins.
J'ai voulu aller demander un rab de serviettes à main et on m'a demandé de les payer, c'est un peu fort tout de même pour un service d'hôtel... Je ne suis pas très heureuse de mon séjour à cet hôtel, mes quelques échanges avec le personnel n'a pas été très agréable à part avec la femme de l'accueil.
Je ne choisirai pas d'y revenir. Dommage

While my wife and I had a nice stay at the hotel, I have a few useful pieces of information for foreigners travelling to this hotel.
1. The rooms don’t have a bath or shower. You wash in the hotel’s bath. If you have tattoos you will only be able to wash late at night for cultural reasons. The baths however were lovely. Sitting in a hot tub after walking 25k steps in a day is really nice. I looked forward to my long soak by the end of the 3rd night.
2. The futons provided are Japanese style, not Western style. I had a good sleep all three nights but in my ignorance I expected a sofa bed.
3. We booked a smoking allowed room thinking it would be okay because it was cheaper. The highway of the floor and the actual room smelt really strongly of tobacco. Like someone was smoking strong cigars. If the smell bothers you, you will find staying there difficult.

大浴場があり、部屋(和室)が広くて綺麗で良かった。部屋にトイレ付きなので便利。子供連れにおすすめ。
バス停に近いけど、有名な観光地には近くない。ただ京都御苑や二条城まで歩く道が川沿いなので、綺麗で静かで、歩いて行くこと自体観光のような感じ。京都御苑を抜くと平安神宮までタクシーで900円くらい。
近くに良いレストランが少ないが、ファミリーマートがある。
お荷物を京都駅や次の宿泊先まで当日に届くサービスがある。(1500円)
