We had a pleasant stay here. The accommodation exceeded our expectations. Though it is old, our room is very clean. Air-conditioning works very well and the shower is superb. Moreover, all staff and even the owner are very friendly and do their best to cater to our needs. Mineral water is sold at RM 1 per bottle, so reasonable.

khoảng cách đến cũ ipoh đi bộ, không nhiều để xem, không có nhiều thực phẩm, cách xa trung tâm, gần điểm dừng xe buýt. Nhân viên đẹp, nhà vệ sinh ít bị phá vỡ và tìm thấy gián quá. Phòng rất lớn và sạch sẽ. không có bữa ăn.

Room was clean but lacked plugins for the phone. Only one that was on the other end of the room. No kettle or Fridge. You can get a Thermos of hot water feom the front desk.
The owner, his wife and his staff were very friendly and helpful.
Nice restaurant at the end of the block.
You need walk a few blocks to get to the 7/11. Daily night market was about 10 min walk. I liked the location as it was close to the Trai and bus terminal

very friendly staff know where to eat (lots of places to eat in this area), called a taxi when we needed, walking distance to historical old town, Ipoh train station, night market, medan kidd bus terminal. If you use the bus from medan kidd, they will drop you at in front of Public bank which is just 1min walk from this hotel(the bus ride is just 4-5min from medan kidd). stayed at delux twin room with a big window, our room is very clean, spacious, nice and new hot water shower, great wifi connection,
with elevator. You can buy a big-sized bottled water for 1R at the front desk. If you want a basic and simple room, this is the perfect place to stay. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay here again in the near future!

Cheap price for spacious family room...big free hotel parking at behind..kind and helpful receptionist i forgot her name...walking distance to mamak restaurant...peacefully place...overall is a nice place to stay...!!!!

the staff were fairly helpful when we told them we wanted to check out early. My parents have stayed in this hotel a lot over the years, unfortunately it has gone downhill and been neglected. The sheets were ironed but were brown making the bed feel unclean. The lights didn't work, the toilet leaked. The beds were also so threadbare you could feel the springs.

Ipoh駅の近くと宿泊費の点からこのホテルを選択しましたが、たまたま私の部屋だけだと思いますが、シャワー機具の不良で温水は出ず、トイレの配管からは水漏れ。人を受け入れる前にしっかりと点検していただきたい。

The location is very good near to the city center and all shops
The parking is very easy and have so many lots for free.
The room is spacious and clean and the staff is nice.
However, the toilet is very bad with no bidet and need to fill gallon to flush the toilet.
They took RM20 as a deposit for AC remote which is quite new to me
Overall my experience is not recommending this hotel

Comfortable, clean and big with some mishaps. Only one outlet spot at a corner of the room so that’s quite inconvenient. The toilet and shower head was leaking.

Basic hotel in a very central location. It's an old and dated hotel, furniture and sheets are old but clean. Bathroom is clean. For the price paid, can't really complain. Location is convenient for walking to the major tourist places downtown. Good if you want a cheap stay. A bugbear is there is no socket near the bed, so you can't charge and use phone in bed. No kettle provided but you can buy big bottled water for RM1 at the counter.

This was quite adequate for a 1-night stay to fill in a gap in my itinerary. It's spotlessly clean, and the rooms are huge, a welcome change from the designer hotels I'd been staying at the previous week. Bed was comfortable, aircon was almost too cold (you can't adjust), and the plumbing worked well. The decor is charmless, but at least it's simple, rather than ugly. Finally, the location is excellent, a few minutes walk from a bustling local dining and shopping area. My only complaint is that wifi didn't work at all. They said this was a temporary outage, but I'm not so sure - I didn't see a single router in the 3rd floor hallways. When you need to plan trips and make bookings, this becomes a deal breaker.

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel, especially to international travellers.
Firstly, when my taxi driver was dropping me off, he explained that the area that the hotel was situated in was a Chinese drugs den and not safe at all.
Secondly, the counter staff showed great surprise and delight in getting an international reservation - alarm bells began ringing.
And when entering my room, I found the furniture was worn and dated and the bed unclean. The bathroom was also dirty and had dripping taps. For a supposed non-smoking room, the air also wreaked of cigarette smoke. Immediately checked out.

Sehr sauberes, gut geführtes Hotel mit Aufzug, dessen Charme vergangener Tage wohl verloren ging. Die Altstadt einerseits und der Nachtmarkt andererseits sind in ca. 15 Minuten fußläufig zu erreichen. Nettes, hilfsbereites Personal.
