Hotel Santa Fe

Es un hotel muy tranquilo, nos gustó muchísimo. La habitación estuvo super bien, la cama es muy cómoda y el servicio excelente. Además, tiene muy buena ubicación.

Attentive staff

We had a rough start with room but staff turned things around and made things work.

This was my 3rd stay at Santa Fe. The beach view is fantastic. Watched the sunset every evening.

What a delightful and wonderful hotel. Can't say enough about the service, cleanliness, location and ambience. Would definitely come back!

We had minor issue with the neighbourhood dogs in that they were quite yappy. Nothing really the hotel could do about that but better than sirens.

Everything! Great staff, wonderful bed, all was clean and cared for, really well-prepared, creative meals. The staff went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. We DID!

The rooms were spacious, the location was great, & the staff was professional. Freddy was amazing! However, that’s where the compliments end. The hotel professes to be “family friendly” - which is why we booked it - yet was confused about getting a babysitter, despite advertising services on its website & confirming with me ahead of the trip on WhatsApp. In addition, when I found my own, cheaper babysitter, I was told the hotel normally charges 500 pesos for the person being in the room, even though she wouldn’t be staying overnight or using any of the hotel amenities. Luckily, I was not charged. The hotel also charges for everything. It claims to have a small, complimentary breakfast, but only provides coffee and tea and charges for orange juice - which again for a “family friendly” place seems odd. The food at the restaurant lacks flavor & is overpriced. Things that normally come standard in every hotel room (ie a hairdryer or iron) have to be specifically requested. The towels & sheets are old & ragged. Finally, I’m pretty sure we experienced racism on our way to the airport. We reserved a taxi to the airport the day we checked in. As I was checking out, the receptionist confirmed our taxi would be there at noon. Not only did we have to re-request it and wait, a white couple came after us & the host allowed them to get in the next taxi that arrived while making us wait longer. I did not appreciate that. For all these reasons, I will not be back, nor will I recommend it.

Beautiful place! Staff was the best! Stayed in the superior suite. Amazing views from the balcony’s! Pool areas are beautiful. Food was top quality! Would definitely go back!

I love this hotel and have stayed before. The bed and pillows are the best I’ve experienced in México. The restaurant is good and the pool is delightful. Beautiful sunsets. However, I was charged almost double the amount of last year. Pricing seems unfairly all over the place. Prices in the restaurant have gone up a lot,too. When I asked twice to speak with someone, the biss wasn’t there and no one else could do anything. Pricing both years was from Expedía. I will stay again if i can get a better price.

Rooms were cleaned daily. Staff are great. Amenities include an unimpeded view of Playa Principal and about a 5-10 minute walk to many restaurants. Conversely, cost of living concerns e.g. no more chips & salsa when consuming beverages at said 2nd floor patio, reduced quality of what used to be pretty good breakfast entries etc., must be acknowledged.

Das Hotel bzw. die Zimmer sind völlig überteuert und das Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis stimmt nicht. Ausstattung und Zustand völlig in die Jahre gekommen;alles ist abgenutzt und mehr oder weniger sehr antik….Das Bad völlig verkalkt und eher unsauber ( schmuddelig ). Bei dem Preis ohne echtes Frühstück inklusive, kein Kühlschrank im Zimmer, laute Klimaanlage. Wasser nur in der Karaffe, keine hygienischen Flaschen. Das Hotel steht aber in jedem Reiseführer. Daher wohl die Nachfrage. Und Angebot und Nachfrage bestimmen den Preis. Nicht für den Preis ( 180 Euro pro Nacht ) zu empfehlen.
