Les Jardins de Skoura

My husband and I were only staying for one night on our way from Todra Gorge to Ait Ben Haddou. The last 4km or so leading to the hotel is a dirt track (not the fault of the hotel). The hotel itself is a quirky little oasis that gives off a very peaceful air and is perfect for relaxing for a day. We had booked the Atlas Suite with a rooftop terrace. Unfortunately, that room was already taken when we arrived and they gave us the Nakhla Suite which was on the ground floor with its own little garden/seating area. We were really tired and couldn’t be bothered arguing as we were only staying one night anyway. The accommodation was absolutely fine; however, the safe didn’t have a key, no coffee/tea-making facilities and only a very short supply of hot water. The walls are very thin and the toilet is child-size but the wifi was good and mosquito screens on all the windows meant that we did not have to use the A/C and could enjoy the cool night-air instead. There is a beautiful common terrace from which to watch the sunset and breakfast/dinner is eaten in the garden which is visited by friendly peacocks. The quality of the food is excellent. We really enjoyed our dinner of chicken tajine with semolina and the friendly (if very relaxed) service at dinner; breakfast, too, had a lovely spread albeit again, at a very relaxed tempo. In short, a great place to chill between destinations.

Très bel endroit calme et raffiné avec un beau jardin chambre agréable et très confortable avec une belle terrasse sur l’atlas. Personnel plein de bonne volonté. Cuisine marocaine soigné et goûteuse avec des bons produits . Piscine annoncé lors du Check in à 23 degrés par le personnel mais en réalité à 17 degrés au thermomètre de celle ci. ( non chauffé ) Longue Piste caillouteuse pour accéder à l’hôtel parfois « compliqué » ( un véhicule pas trop bas s’impose avec une arrivée de jour indispensable.) L’envoi d’un simple plan d’accès facileterait vraiment l’arrivée.

It was a beautiful place, very traditional, with gorgeous rooms and central courtyard and a courteous and helpful staff.

Les tarifs du bar… vu le prix… autant ne rien servir !!! 12,5€ le Ricard! Le verre!!! Du coup ne pas le mettre à la carte…

Luxury place, gourmet food.

It was perfect but very hard to get to. You must drive there yourself to be safe. It was so damn perfect, it’s like a paradise in the desert.

Nice place in the oases of Skoura. Overpriced for what is offered.

Die Unterkunft hat uns sehr sehr gut gefallen. Sie liegt ruhig und abgeschieden und glänzt durch sehr gutes, authentisches Essen. Auch die Beschäftigungsmöglichkeiten vor Ort auf dem Gelände sind zahlreich und sorgen für Kurzweil. In unmittelbarer Umgebung befinden sich keine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, sodass man auf ein Auto oder das Essen Vorort angewiesen ist. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Viele Grüße

Hotel is located in an nice oasis, but somewhat difficult to find, as some of the sign should be updated. We were welcomed in by Rida who was very nice and helpfull. The hotel is very nice, and has plenty of lounging areas, pool, and games. Being 10-15 min from the city, you probably will get diner at the hotel, which is somewhat more expansive than what we had in Marrakesh. However, diner table was beautifully set in the garden and diner was very good with excellent service. When you compare, prices are right for the quality of food, service and setting.

Superbe oasis, avec piscine et terrasses sur les palmeraies, chambre merveilleuse. Attention par contre si vous êtes en moto, accès par une longue piste caillouteuse uniquement. En cross ou enduro ok, mais en routière type Harley c'est difficile

Un sens de l'accueil exceptionnel et lieu merveilleux.

Tres beaux jardins, le personnel est exceptionel. Le diner etait delicieux et la table elle meme dressee avec attention. Nous avons dine dans le jardin. La terrasse eat magnifique. La piscine chauffee. La chambre Saguia etait exceptionelle, fraiche a l interieur alors qu'il faisait chaud.

Very attentive staff, beautiful property. Food was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay.

Peaceful and charming place to stay in the middle of Skoura palm villages. Incredibly friendly staff, fresh variety of good food, great facilities in the garden, peaceful and discrete. Loved the silence and view from terrasse. One tip. In communication before arrival, mention the road to take. We followed Google maps and were guided through the very tiny garden roads. The ‘orange’ road is much easier.
