Riad Alaka

Staff and manager are superb. Very friendly and helpful. Could not ask for bettrr hosts.

Dans l'ensemble tout est bien. Mais pour ce qui est du souper offert par le personnel du riad, nous avons opter pour les couscous royale et Alaka, dans les deux cas le prix est trop élevé et la qualités ne vaut pas le prix.

Riad tres propre, tres bonne cuisine et literie tres confortable. Accueil chaleureux et bienveillant, situé à 2 pas de la gare routière bab doukhala et station de taxi. 2ème séjour et nous y reviendrons sans hésiter ! Un grand merci à toute l équipe 😊

綺麗なリアドでした。 部屋の鍵がかかってるのかイマイチよく分かりませんでしたが、物を盗まれるような心配は基本的にないので大丈夫だと思います。 行くまでの道の雰囲気が少し怖かったです。

El Riad alaka es mas bonito que las fotos, la habitacion esta muy limpia y el desayuno delicioso, tambien cenamos Tajine y era todo delicioso y de calidad ya que tambien comimos Al exterior y notamos la diferencia que la calidad d'El riad era mucho mejor, Mimoune y las chicas que trabajan son muy agradables y profesionales

Très bien situées pour accéder au souk et à la médina. Personnel très gentil et accueillant. Hôtel propre et calme

Nice Riad with friendly staff. Location I would say is interesting. Lots of run down buildings around but the Riad is like an Oasis. It's about a 20 min interesting walk to the main square. Breakfast was good. No door on the bathroom was my only little complaint.

Riad host was most gracious, entertaining and helpful - directing us where to park a rental car nearby in a secure location and meeting us there to assist us to find the hotel location. Excellent breakfast and very nice in house Hammam as well. Finding a single bed bug was the only downside, but as it was the only one could have hitched a ride from other travelers...the mattresses in the family sized room were otherwise very clean.

We stayed at the Riad in September. The Riad is lovely, in a popular area of Marrakech where you can enjoy the market and to bargain in the souk. It is ideally located in the center of the Médina. The Riad is perfectly clean and the employees are really kind and helpful. It is a typical propriety decorated in the pure Moroccan style. The bedroom was well furnished and decorated. The terrace on the top was really enjoyable. It is a pure moment of relax and happiness to enjoy the Jacuzzi by night. We decided to have diner twice. The chicken tajine and the couscous were delicious! We also appreciated the breakfasts that were typical Moroccan and varied. Thank you very much Malika!! Your food was extremely tasty. We really felt at home thanks to Aziz (Responsable for the guests) and Malika (cook). They were extremely helpful and friendly with us, giving us excellent advices. Thanks for the nice service!! It was a really enjoyable stay and we are gonna recommend this place without any hesitation!! The only negative points : No internet connection in our bedroom and on the terrace. We were really chocked by the behavior of the two French owners of the Riad (Pascal and his wife). They were not treating well the employees and Pascal’s wife was even screaming on an employee in front of the customers... this is definitely not a behavior to have when you are the boss of a riad/hotel.

My poor rating of Riad Alaka is due to one specific incident that occurred during my stay here. I stayed at Riad Alaka for 2 nights 15-16 October and booked a hammam treatment. I was originally told by the manager on duty that the cost would be 15 euros. However, after the hammam was finished and upon check out, the manager on duty (Aziz) told me that it was 15 euros plus an additional 15 euros for local tax, for a total of 30 euros. (This would essentially be a 100% tax.) I contacted various other local hammams in Marrakech and was told that "there is no taxes anywhere you go here , the price you pay includes everything , and not the clients who pay the taxes." As a result, I feel completely deceived and cheated by the manager on duty. Other than him, the rest of the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The place itself is traditionally decorated and clean, and the free breakfast provided is very authentic and delicious as well. The location is also only about a 15-20 minute walk to Koutobia/Jama El f’na Square. Had I not been conned by the manager on duty, I would have given Riad Alaka a much better rating. If you decide to stay here, I would highly recommend booking through third-party sites (such as Expedia, Hotels.com, etc.) just to have your booking confirmed and everything pre-paid in full to avoid situations like mine.

We are pleased by the willingness of staff to help. We arrived at the Riad around 10pm due to the delay caused by the day trip and have to leave early next morning. During our 10 hour stay in the Riad, the staff prepared our dinner as well as breakfast and helped to hire taxi for us. The Riad is located at the edge of Médina with easy to reach many places. It is very crowded at night market outside. However, it is quiet inside the Riad. The breakfast could be improved.

全体的にまあまあ満足できるリアド。部屋は少し狭いかも。部屋に南京錠がなく（内側からは閉めれる）、フロントに「鍵は？」と聞くと、「ホテル全体がとても安全に管理されているから大丈夫！」と。建物の入り口はちゃんと管理されており、実際に安全な感じはしたので問題はなし。小さめのリアドですごく豪華ということもないですが、満足できました。

The Riad is charming! Pascal, Aziz and their team were welcoming and very caring. From arranging airport transfers to the fabulous vegan meals that Aziz prepared just for me, the experience was exactly what we wanted. The location was in a more local area although close enough to a main road with taxis but being first timers and after exhausting days of sightseeing, we opted to dine in for three nights. Simply wonderful.

Prachtig riad! De kamers zijn mooi ingericht en erg schoon. Het personeel is uiterst behulpzaam en gastvrij. Aanrader!

Sono stato una notte con la famiglia al Riad Alaka. Buona posizione, accoglienza calorosa. Il posto è molto bello e ben tenuto. Letti comodi e jacuzzi sul terrazzo. Colazione abbondante e di buona qualità. Prezzo nella media.

Très bon établissement.je conseille ce riad a proximité de tout bon accueil Aziz. sofian Malika.sont très gentils.serviable ainsi que les gérants aussi ..aucun bruit alors qu' il se situe en plein centre .. un jacuzzi hammam .massage et vous pouvez également manger le soir si vous le souhaitez petit déjeuner très bon a recommander pour un séjour à marrakech possibilité de tout faire a pied et pas très loin de l aeroport...

My friend and I stayed for 3 nights at this riad and we totally recomend it. The staff was really friendly and helpful, the room was nice and clean and breakfast was amazing. We even had dinner a couple of nights there and the food was delicious. The location is not very central, around 15 min walk from the main plaza, and just at the end of an alleyway. However, it felt like a totally safe area, it was lit at night and gives you the chance to cross a more local market.

What a lovely find! If you are looking for a luxurious, quaint hotel where the staff truly cares about your stay, look no further. Rooms are extremely clean, bed linen changed every day, outwardly food and incredibly friendly staff. Having stayed in 5 stars cha in hotels such as Hilton and Sheraton, I would rate Riad Alaka higher any day.

A superb riad in the north of the medina. Great location for both old city and nouvelle ville. 20 minute walk to Jemma El Fna or catch a taxi 5 minutes away. The staff were very friendly, helpful and also cooked us some excellent food. Room very comfortable and tastefully decorated as is the whole riad. Would not hesitate to recommend this place to friends.
