RIAD AMANA

Right in the center of the medina. Walkable to all directions. Aged property with aged rooms. But it's sufficient for a short stay. Staffs are friendly and helpful.

Very kind staff, breakfast was served with care. Good location. Clean room. Could use some updating and improved services like wifi and better shower experience like water pressure, hot water and toiletries.

Low level of hospitality including carrying our own suitcases up multiple flights of steps, loud location due to external facing windows, shared spaces were not particularly clean, though the room was exceptionally clean. Breakfast wasn’t adequate for active tourists. We moved to a less expensive hotel nearby for a much more positive experience.

Option 1/2 pension parfaite avec une chambre, spacieuse, confortable, très propre avec beaucoup de charme et de caractère authentique à l'image du ryad dans son ensemble. L'accueil est très chaleureux, tout le personnel est toujours très souriant et disposé à rendre service, les repas variés et de très bonne qualité. Je recommande.

Charmant riad situé dans le centre de la Medina. Tout était parfait, du personnel présent sur place ( Houssam, Lamia et Mariam) qui etait d une bienveillance et d une grande gentillesse. Nous étions dans la suite Ouarzazate, bien agencé et joliment décoré. Nous nous sentions comme à la maison. Merci pour tout 🙏

Ce Riad est aux petits soins pour les voyageurs et les chambres sont extrêmement confortables en famille….

Beautiful riad in a great location

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Riad Amana. Great location within the medina, and really friendly and helpful staff. The room was clean. It should be noted, however, that the medina is loud at night. That is not a criticism of Riad Amana, as it probably applies to all hotels and riads within the medina. We didn't mind, but if you're a light sleeper you'd probably prefer staying in a hotel outside of the medina.

Propriétaires très arrangeant, ( nous sommes venus avec une personne et un bébé en plus, ils ont ajouté deux lits dans l’énorme chambre que j’avais réservé pour 3 ) merci encore Personnel très sympathique.

Una sistemazione deliziosa nel cuore della Medina. La suite Chefchaouen è arredata deliziosamente, letto enorme e comodissimo. Il bagno è una meraviglia. Unica nota stonata: un po' di odore di fogna dal bagno ma sicuramente episodico. Colazione buona, non particolarmente ricca ma comunque soddisfacente. Ci torneremo sicuramente anche perché abbiamo dormito benissimo, al fresco e nel pieno silenzio!

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour au Riad Amana, un véritable havre de paix idéalement situé au cœur de la médina d’Essaouira. L’accueil de Meryem et Fatima a été exceptionnel : attentionnées, disponibles et toujours prêtes à rendre service, elles nous ont fait sentir comme chez nous. La décoration du riad est raffinée, le petit déjeuner copieux et savoureux, et les massages proposés sur place m’ont apporté une vraie parenthèse de bien-être. Seul petit bémol : l’insonorisation des chambres, qui pourrait être améliorée. Mais cela n’a en rien gâché la qualité de notre séjour. Je recommande vivement ! À bientôt peut-être ?

During our 2 weeks traveling through Morocco, we chose a mixture of riads and hotels to stay in. Riad Amana was on the lower end of the list of stays we enjoyed. We had the Chefchaouen room for the 2 of us, which was spacious and large. Unfortunately the back alley directly below the room had loud yelling/noise until 2AM each night. We got no sleep during our 2 night stay in Essaouira. The amenities and services are lower quality at this riad as well. Expedia reflects that there’s daily housekeeping - no housekeeping was provided and towels were not changed at all. There was barely any toilet paper and they didn’t provide shampoos/conditioners. Breakfast was basic staples and you have the option to add on eggs at additional cost. Staff are very friendly. Syed was helpful. The location is phenomenal as it’s a quick walk. Therefore, this is a good option for backpackers, budget travelers, and groups of friends instead of couples or quieter families I’d say.

Ein schönes Hotel mit geräumigem Zimmer. Leider mussten wir bei Ankunft mehr als in der Buchung angegeben zahlen. Außerdem besteht das eigentlich enthaltene Frühstück nur aus einigen Grundbestandteilen und den Rest muss man kostenpflichtig dazu buchen. Das hatten wir bei unseren bisherigen Aufenthalten in Marokko anders. Somit war das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht mehr wirklich gut...
