Impeccable service and the delicious breakfast were stand outs of our stay. The bed was comfortable. We stayed in the Barbara Hutton room and the couch was very comfortable.

Just a wonderful hotel. Staff was attentive. Accomations were great. Breakfast was incredible

The staff of the hotel went over and beyond their responsibilities to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. They were quick with advice and recommendations, and were eager to assist and help in everything possible. They made our stay memorable

Excellent all round. Staff were friendly and helpful , room was clean , beautiful rooftop bar also where breakfast is served . We stayed in Forbes suite which was lovely and had a corner couch suite. Views were facing inside the Riad. It’s located in the heart of the Kasbah which is the old fort and just a stones throw from the Médina.

Dar Saba is a gem in the Medina. They arranged for a driver to pick us up from the train station which is important because getting to the Riad by car is not easy and not all cabs might find it. The interior design of each room and corner is impeccable and elegant. Breakfast at the rooftop terrace is a highlight. The staff was wonderful and very helpful; Jawad not only recommended a great dinner restaurant, he took us there personally so we didn’t get lost in the winding alleys. Highly recommend it if you are looking for a touch of elegance in the old Medina

Really enjoyed the stay. Nice and quiet, small place so you get good attention from the staff. Just make note of the square footage cause the small room was too small for us. There was a small issue with the ac in the room and instantly got bumped to the bigger room. Breakfast view, food and service was definitely 10/10 and warranted the higher than average price. Perfect stay for couples looking to tour the old medina. Special shoutout to Jawad and Abdallah for their outstanding service!

This place is more than just a riad — it’s a home filled with heart, warmth, and beauty. The riad itself is stunning — every detail is thoughtfully designed with a perfect blend of Moroccan tradition and elegance. The atmosphere is peaceful and serene, offering a true escape from the busy streets while still being just steps away from all the charm of the medina and the kasbah. What truly made this stay unforgettable was Roya and her staff. Her kindness, generosity, and attention to every detail made us feel so cared for. The breakfast was absolutely delicious — fresh, homemade, and served with love on the rooftop terrace with a beautiful view of the city and the sea. The rooms are cozy, beautifully decorated, and spotlessly clean. Every corner of the riad radiates warmth and authenticity. Waking up there felt like waking up in a dream — peaceful, inspired, and grateful. If you are visiting Tangier, do yourself a favor and stay at Riad Dar Saba – Saba’s House. It’s not just a place to sleep — it’s a place where memories are made, where you feel welcomed and truly cared for. We left with full hearts and cannot wait to return!

We stayed for 2 nights and had the most amazing time. It was my 60th birthday and the team at Saba's house could not have been lovelier or more accomodating. They arranged a wonderful birthday surprise with song, cake and balloons in reception - it was really above and beyond. The owner Roya is a lovely lady who cares for her guests . She has created a wonderful Riad close to the Kasbah, with beautifully decorated rooms and an amazing terrace with a view across the sea. This is a really , really special place with special staff. We will be back as soon as possible.

Alles in allem gut, aber keine fünf Sterne (Aufzug defekt, Rezeption sehr rudimentär. Insgesamt eher eine Pension, aber keinesfalls ein fünf Sterne Hotel nach europäischen Maßstab). Für ein Drittel des Preises den ich bezahlt habe, wäre es okay.

The staff at Saba's House are all 5 star. Hamsa, Zaqu, Jaduad, Brahim, and Abdullah were all amazing, attentive, and responsive. Roya, the owner is on-site and a wealth of recommendations for places to go, eat, and see in Tangier. Aziza was amazing in the Hammam.

My stay at Dar Saba was simply delightful. I stayed in the Mick Jagger suite and it was so fun with thoughtful touches. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The rooftop view was stunning with a cocktail at sunset. Such a great, convenient location for restaurants, shopping and history. I couldn’t recommend this place more!

This is the place to stay while visiting Tangier. The location is perfect for exploring the Medina, museums and walking distance to restaurants. We wanted to be right in the thick of things, so stayed away from the big hotel chains near the train station. You walk out the door and feel transported in time. The riad itself is gorgeous with a stunning collection of artwork and extremely nice and helpful owner and staff. Abdullah greeted us and arranged a car to take us to Chefchouen. Zechariah was so helpful as well as all the staff. Roya, the owner, gave us great advice about what not to miss. We did not get a guide, preferring to wander around ourselves and take it all in. We felt very safe. The breakfast experience was amazing——loved all the Moroccan breads and pancakes. My only advice is to visit this lovely country when it’s not Ramadan. We feel we missed out on the normal buzz of activity and food. Most tea houses were closed during the day and there was no street food, completely understandable as everyone fasts all day. Can’t wait to come back!
