Résidence Dar Lamia Marrakech

I liked that it was a quiet location it was pretty far from other places and the rooms were spacious. The staff were really friendly and accommodating. Service was excellent. However the cleanness in the rooms were ok. It could have been better in my opinion. Otherwise our stay was good.

Les chambres sont grandes et propres les wc sont séparés de la salle d’eau. Le personnel est très accueillant et serviable J’ai pu commander un couscous alors qu’il n’était pas sur la carte (merci à Sofia) Le point à améliorer serait les horaires d’ouverture du petit déjeuner. 8.30 h c’est difficile quand on a des excursions… Les jardins sont magnifiques et la piscine chauffée est vraiment agréable en automne !

Wonderful place to stay with very nice friendly staff. Pool was beautiful, rooms with outside space were lovely. Only downside was not much variety in food, you had to leave and get a taxi in order to have a good meal...

The staff here are incredible. It’s a tranquil and peaceful oasis outside the hustle and busyness of Marrakech. The staff cannot do enough for you and the property is beautiful. Very safe and relaxed atmosphere. Good spa. I would definitely recommend Dar Lamia!

Excellent hôtel, belle piscine et environnement très calme. En revanche une odeur horrible de remontée des égouts envahie l’appartement 47. Un conseil refusez cet appartement si on vous le donne.

The gardens were magnificent. The main pool area was lovely. We didn’t eat at the restaurant however we did get some salads to take home, which were very tasty We enjoyed our stay very much. They were very lenient with the check in time which was much appreciated as we brought food with us. We stayed at a deluxe Villa which was beautifully decorated, and the kitchen was well equipped. It was very clean, comfortable, and very spacious. The only area which I felt needed improvement was that there was no circulation in our private pool. The filters did not seem to be working, but we enjoyed the main pool very much. Thank you to all the staff at Dar Lamia for a wonderful family vacation. This was a really nice stay, we did have some issues in the starting but I spoke with Celine and she helped a lot she made our experience better and helped resolve the issues. I would love to come back and stay here because this place is beautiful the only downfall is that it is far so you have to get taxi to get places nothing is in walking distance. There’s also a ton of cats we loved them but if you are allergic this is not the right place. I wish we stayed longer because it felt like home and everyone was so friendly

We have been coming to Marrakech for 22 years and this place, by far is the best we have stayed at. Everything is clean and works. The staff are great. The place is super chill. No reps. No tours. No kids clubs or evening entertainment. Just relax and do your own thing. Sophia, who looks after the breakfast and lunch sittings, was a brilliant ambassador and whatever they pay her, it needs to be more. The grounds and planting is stunning and extremely well cared for. The only criticism is the internet. You need to get that sorted as it's pants and being a good 20-30 mins from the city centre, some form of arranged transport to and from the airport/Marrakech and back Would I recommend? Yes. Will we be coming back? Yes.

Problem with sewer back-up smells in our room on 3 occasions. Patio was never cleaned and we spent a lot of time on it. Beautiful property and staff were fantastic.

Wonderful hotel in a beautiful setting with all of the amenities you would need - restaurant, spa, pool, gardens, etc. The staff was so helpful and friendly and they went the extra mile for anything we needed. It was an oasis in Marrakech.

Beautiful villa. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city which meant it was quiet however you need to hire a driver to get anywhere. Accommodation was very spacious with a 3 separate bedrooms each with its own bathroom. Great for couples or older families however the bedrooms were separated by the pool in the middle so not great for small kids in terms of safety. Hotel staff were great and organised most of our needs including drivers to the markets, cooking classes, camel rides, etc... Check in was late and done in the restaurant with a welcome mint tea and snacks. Staff were friendly and took our bags to the property. lots of cats around which the kids loved! They had a pool and spa but we didnt use them during our stay. Villa had a kitchen with oven, stove, washing machine, fridge, etc... which was very convenient. Alcohol was very expensive in Marrakech so buy from duty free before departure. Also airport has security checks even before you enter the building so allow plenty of time to check in as there were long queues.

Och lägga in maskindisktabletter i köket. Även byta ut alla glödlampor mot mindre blåvitt sken. Tack! Vi kommer tillbaka

Très bon séjour au Dar Lamia. La résidence est éloignée de Marrakech et très calme. Ils ont un service de navettes qui vous emmènent où vous souhaitez avec de très bons chauffeurs très sympathiques (Youcef et Hisham 👌) Les employés sont tous extrêmement gentils et à l'écoute. Mention spéciale pour Samia au restaurant qui a été gentille et attentionnée avec notre famille. Les maisons sont confortables et très grandes, la piscine est agréable mais en décembre pas assez chauffée même si nous ne sommes pas frileux. Les dirigeants sont sympathiques et attentionnés.Nous avons passé une semaine superbe et je recommande vivement cet hôtel.

I would highly recommend this hotel, especially for families with kids or couples seeking a quiet getaway. It is located on the outskirts of Marrakech, providing a peaceful atmosphere without the noise of honking. The hotel is well-designed, giving a traditional morrocon feel, and the rooms are beautifully decorated. The staff is friendly and helpful. However, it would be beneficial to learn a few phrases in French, as only a few staff members speak English. The spa is also good. Few things were not working, but manager and the staff make sure to get it sorted out in timely manner. Few things if the hotel improve on will make them more appealing and get more than 5 starts are, (1) The Pool in the Villa and the communal Swimming Pool(smaller one) should be heated. One of the reason why we book this villa was we had our own pool but as it was not heated we couldn't use it and same goes for common swimming pool. Kids were bit disappointed. (2) There should be a convenience shop which can sell items like grocery, milk, water, etc. There is no shop around the hotel either. So we need anything we have to book taxi to take us to the nearest shop. (3) More options of food in the Restaurant. This is needed as the hotel is in the outskirt of marrakech most the restuarant not ready to come to deliver food and if they do they charge lot of money. Above 3 points mentioned are for improvement and they were not a show stopper for us. We enjoyed a lot in the place.
