BLUE MOUNTAIN HOME STAY

Cet établissement est tres bien placé pres du Thamel mais demeure excessivement calme. Chaque etage dispose de terrasses utilisables agréablement decorees. Les chambres sont propres. Le personnel est souriant et serviable. Côté petit dejeuner , aucun reproche à formuler non plus. C est amplement suffisant (oeufs, toasts, beurre, confiture, fruits frais et une boisson chaude au choix qui peut etre resservie si besoin). Merci d avoir contribué à notre bien être à Katmandou. Herlig opphold. Veldig avslappende og lite stress. God seng, varm dusj, god frokost og fantastisk beliggenhet. Transporten til flyplassen var også enkelt og greit. Alt til en ganske billig penge. Ikke helt hotell, men fortsatt 10/10.

Well, I was lucky enough to stay at the Blue Mountain Homestay post covid in Sep 2022. I had a great time and stay. Buddhi the owner makes you feel very welcome like part of his family. He is thoughtful, attentive and friendly. He is able to arrange most things and has the knowledge to do this. I stayed in a very nice comfortable room which has been recently renovated as has the property. The room had a ceiling fan, plenty of lighting options, a big 2 way sliding window, a very comfortable double bed, a table and 2 chairs. There was an en-suite bathroom which had a shower, basin and toilet. There was plenty of hot water and towels. The room and bathroom was clean and presentable. Just to put things into perspective, In Nepal accommodation in general isn't quite up there compared to Western accommodation. So be prepared to manage your expectations. But saying that Blue Mountain Homestay for sure is one of the better places in the regard. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The stay includes breakfast which was very nice it includes 2 eggs any style, 2 toast, jam/butter, fruits and tea/coffee, you can also take cereal/porridge. Blue Mountain Homestay is located about 5min walk from Thamel, which is where the tourist part of Kathmandu is which in turn is quite chaotic and busy, but the location of property is ideal as it's quieter and away from the mayhem but close enough. My host and his family were very polite and accommodating. The rooms were clean and cozy and there was a locking cabinet in the room. The room also locked with a padlock. The bathroom was very clean and featured a western style flushing toilet and a hot shower. There was outdoor spaces on each floor to relax and enjoy a quiet read without all the noise of Thamel. That being said it was a very short wall away from Thamel. Again the best part of my stay was the friendly hosts. Breakfast and dinner were complimentary and they were hearty and delicious. I will definitely stay here again when I am back in Kathmandu.

One month in Nepal and I stayed 3 times at The Blue Mountain home stay. The owner, employees are really kind and help me a lot. When I will be back I will stay again there.

Pick up was organised from chaotic ktm airport. The homestay was in a quiet laneway away from the polluted, noisy and dirty thamel. The staff and the owners were good and helpful. Daily morn breakfast was good. The homestay is centrally located to all tourist landmarks. Facilities are good and safety is good. Highly recommended.

it was horrible. first two nights everything was ok, but the owner did a mistake and he had no room for us and he sent us to another hotel. it was far and we had to go walking. the hotel was very noisy and they had no breakfast, which was included in our booking. also there was no hot water. I want a refund because I slept very bad, no hot water and no breakfast. we are very disappointed!!!!

Blue Mountain Honestay was wonderful! Quiet and peaceful, a five minute walk from the heart of Thamel, the staff were very hospitable. The hotel itself was really nice, comfortable rooms and terraces filled with great plants! Definitely would stay again!

这是一家店总体也说还是很不错的，喜欢它每层的小花园，很有家的感觉，卫生方面也很不错，就是不太好找，还有就是洗手间是共用的，没热水（是在停电的时候洗澡，有电的时候有没有热水就不清楚了）因为加德满都经常是停电的，用备用电，我比较喜欢独立的空间（一楼自住的，二楼以上用来做酒店）还有免费早餐呦，店员和老板也很热情

nice hotel in the center of Kathmandu. Quiet and cozy. Really like home. There disable shared kitchen and the possibility cook. Friendly owners and staff.

Buddhi and his staff made me very welcome. The rooms are clean and neat with good wifi signal. TV did not work, but that wasn't a problem for me. Breakfast is included and was made to order at whatever time you wanted it. There is a lovely rooftop terrace to sit and chill out on and the area is very peaceful although very close to the busy Thamel area. Recommend for budget to mid-budget travellers.

Great place to stay. Felt so welcome and everyone went out of their way to look after us. Perfect location on quiet street near Thamel. Even invited for dinner by family. Highly recommend!

The atmosphere is really nice . Staff very friendly. Hot shower and electricity at night but this is in most of the hotels in Kathmandu. The cook was preparing delicious breakfast even earlier so we didn't leave the hotel without eating. That was kind. The area is okay for two female travelers walking at night. Quiet place

大変フレンドリーなオーナーと、親切なスタッフ。朝食も美味しかったのですが、一度夕食に招待され、美味しい家庭料理のダルバードをオーナー家族とともにご馳走になりました。タメル地区まで徒歩約10分ほど離れてますが、居心地は良かったです。
