Dont judge the book by the cover! At first sight, the outside looked a bit ify, but they have done a great job of the inside. Looked fresh, and was impressed with with it. Will be staying here again in future.

Even though the building is older in years the staff do their best to keep it looking clean and tidy, my room was clean, tidy quiet. The receptionist was lovely and friendly, very helpful.

It was so convenient for the bus stop, just a few minutes away. The room was clean and really comfortable I was very happy to have stayed here

Had an awesome stay! Clean and comfortable, we had the best room!! ...only one bad thing was, spa bath didn't work. Paid for bigger room for a spa bath... We will definitely be back 😊

A very fit for purpose property, good price clean room and felt welcome. So exactly what I needed for my one night stay.

The hotel is a fabulous historic building so as long as you accept this then you will enjoy your stay. Free parking, a lovely welcome and very friendly staff. Room was clean, bathroom had towels, soap,shampoo etc. Bed was a bit saggy and road noise kept me awake for a while, old sash windows do not seal completely. Would definitely stay again

great old property that has been well maintained and refurbished . some great features kept in keeping with age .

Nice room, fresh and clean with a lovely outlook. Staff friendly. Was quite noisy at night though with the dual lane road below.

Please do not stay here . I have backpacked around the world and this was up there with the worst nights ever. My room was filthy. Nothing had been moved to vaccum and the shower curtain was mouldy, to name a few things.Bethroom floor was lifting and carpet stained and filthy. Matress was so old and uncomfortable. Worst part was though really got no sleep as everytime someone opened a door or walked along the hall my bedroom door shook like someone was breaking in. Luckily by 3am I figured out if i put towels under the door it limited the movement enough to just be a little shake. I had already tried other things. You could also hear everything in the next door rooms. I didnt expect fancy for the price but clean and functional would have been nice. Sad to see a historic building treated like this

Good as a practical hotel for short stays, historic buffs and best of all, budget and close to Octagon and surrounds. No complaints, I read poor reviews - didn't turn me off - happy to save money to spend else where in Dunners. Front counter staff maybe could do with a little updating on 'warm service'.

Not a great review. Black mould on the shower silicone, spa bath and bathroom extract fan not working, from my point of view lacking in daily house keeping, and no reply at all from the hotel staff addressing these issues. On the positive side, location was extremely central, a very spacious room, reception staff were friendly and very accessible hotel specific parking (across the road).

Mycket sliten hotell med gamla heltäckningsmatta som framkallar allergiska reaktioner för känsliga. Badrum med spruckna mattor och svarta kanter runt badkaret. Möbler svårt att avgöra om de är slitna eller smutsiga, ville inte röra vid. Positiv är central läge

A very old classic Hotel in the downtown area, keep this in mind and you will not be disappointed. It has some great old furniture to look at.

Hôtel très vieillot, surtout les sanitaires (robinets et w.c d'un autre âge... Immense, mais ménage tous les jours sauf dimanche. Pas de frigo dans la chambre. Par contre, deux points excellents : en plein centre ville, tous les bâtiments sont accessibles à pied, et parking en face de l'hôtel gratuit pour les clients (10 $ par jour dans la rue).
