The Flint

Very impressed w the design at the Flint - simple and pared back, but every need addressed effectively. Nice thoughtful work by the design team. Also: great location in a very hopping quarter of Belfast. And we never heard any noise in the room.

We enjoyed our stay VERY much! The room was the perfect size, with the added couch and kitchen/dining table. Three big beautiful windows (created some night noise). Our dislike was the lack of people! The inconvenient check-in and need to pay 48 hours before arriving, instead of at the property, like all other hotels. If I was at home, it wouldn’t have mattered, but we were on a tour and travelling. Regardless, it’s a great place, I would stay there again.

All you need for a great stay, clean and well worth it

Nice contemporary industrial conversion in the heart of the city. There’s a busy bar restaurant downstairs under the same ownership I believe. Had a decent lunch there, surprisingly good salad dish. Got a higher room to be away from street noise. Unfortunately on one night this didn’t help with a 3:30am jackhammer on the road outside. That’s city centre life I guess and it’s not a fault of the hotel. Nice to have the well thought out kitchenette in room.

At checkin, they will hold luggage but will not let you checkin until 3pm. Large studio room that is well equipped with all you need to cook or heat up foods. Have toaster, kettle, flattop, refrigerator and tiny freezer. M&S is close by and has lovely microwave foods and a bakery. Very clear instructions for all appliances. Bed is queen sized - too firm for this side sleeper; even the back sleeper complained that the bed was not great. TV has limited channels and fuzzy reception - it is a smart TV so they expect you to login to your own Netflix or Prime account. YouTube is free and reception is good. Free laundry on the 6th floor is excellent- bring your own detergent. Close to Grand Central Station. Overall, It’s nice to have space bigger than just a hotel room. Would give it a 5 star if the bed was more comfy.

We stayed at The Flint for our recent trip to Belfast and The Open. The room was comfortable and clean, and we loved the location. The Amelia Hall right next door was handy (note: you should make a reservation for dinner). All front desk service agents were efficient, knowledgeable, kind, and helpful.

This is a great hotel. Room was super clean and spacious. Staff super friendly and helpful. Attached restaurant was fantastic and staff there were exceptionally helpul and courteous. Location is perfect for exploring Dublin. We will be back.

Our room at The Flint was large with a comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. It is well located with excellent dining options very close by.

The Flint was like a DIY hotel. You had to make your own key card and do your own laundry! Rooms were plan, but clean. The place is weird, like a converted apartment building or something (not really sure). It was incomplete as there were tiles in the halls being torn from the flor, assuming they were redoing the floors? The walls in the rooms were plain, but it was fairly clean. The Amelia restaurant down below was good. Good pizza and the breakfasts were good too.

Excellent hotel!! Rooms are equipped with kitchenettes and dinette. Location is perfect, excellent attached restaurant and bar, free laundry available, very clean hotel. Amazing staff!!
