Hotel Inka Path

The place looks like old, the pictures lie, it was not clean, the restroom had soap open, no toilet paper or towels. There is no elevator,the street is congested and loud from people. The floor was dirty and not mop or sweep. No recomiendo este lugar estaba sucio del piso, agua fria, jabon abierto, no tuallas o papel del baño tenias que pedir todo y no hay elevator cuando llegas son muchas escalera. Definitivamente nada como salia las fotos o reviews

La gente muy amable. Cómo muchos hoteles latinoamericanos quieren cobrar algo que no consumes del minibar de la habitación. Las puertas de las habitaciones tienen vidrio en la parte superior que deja entrar toda la luz de los pasillos y es muy molesto en la noche. La habitación frente a la calle sufre del ruido de los vendedores y las bocinas de los autos. (Todo Perú sufre de los conductores que lugar de usar el cerebro usan bocina del auto!). La ventaja es la ubicación céntrica. Pero vale más buscar un hotel en zona tranquila y pagar un Uber al centro.

If you are staying for a couple of days there is no place closer to Historic Center. There is also good shopping and dining options. The staff is friendly

Plenty of room, sheets are a little thin. Breakfast is fine, not spectacular. Great location. Room reasonably quiet.

The location of this hotel is incredible. It is in the middle of the walking streets in the historic center, and we were able to see all the major sites just walking in two days. All the other guests we saw were Peruvian, ranging from kids' soccer teams to business men, and the hotel does not offer assistance with airport pick up. The staff do not speak English, but most of them were eager to help. They gave us the wrong room when we checked in, but after speaking to a couple of staffers it was corrected. Rooms are small but cozy with excellent showers, and breakfast is average based on the other hotels we had this trip.

El hotel está en la principal calle peatonal, a media cuadra del metropolitano que cruza la ciudad de norte a sur. La atención fue excelente. Aunque llegué muy temprano (a las 7.00 de la mañana), me dieron el cuarto y pude descansar. El único problema fue el Internet porque al siguiente día se cayó la red y prácticamente me quedé incomunicado, salvo cuando podía ir a un café para utilizar Internet. El otro problema es que la recepción está en un primer piso, piso sumamente empinado y no tiene elevador.

Mi experiencia en este hotel fue agridulce. Y es que aunque la habitación cumplió con lo ofrecido, el desayuno es de autoservicio y de buena calidad, y la ubicación del local es óptima para visitar a pie el centro histórico de la ciudad, el primer inconveniente enfrentado es que el único acceso al hotel es por una larguísima escalera y no hay siquiera un colaborador designado para ayudar con subir y/o bajar el equipaje. Luego, apenas al segundo día se me debió cambiar de habitación por una filtración de agua que afectaba al negocio de la planta baja; encima, ese mismo día se suspendió el suministro de agua por las tuberías de todo el edificio por un desperfecto, justo mientras me hallaba en la ducha; ergo, un edificio de la época colonial con esa frecuencia de vicisitudes evidencia falta de mantenimiento. Pero lo más molesto fue que, para terminar de bañarme ese día y previo aval de la recepción, las dos botellas de agua que había en el minibar y que debí consumir al efecto, se me intentaron cargar a la cuenta al momento del check-out, de cuyo pago me libré solo por mi insistencia en que se indagara, en lugar de que al menos se me brindara una disculps o se me compensara por el súbito y molesto desabastecimiento de agua. Esos detalles son los que invitan a buscar otras opciones de alojamiento en el futuro.

Clean and comfortable; spacious rooms in the grand old style. Staff speaks very little English, but Wifi and a sit-down computer are available. Breakfasts are.just OK, with eggs and a lot of sugary Standard American Diet food. A long flight of stairs from street to lobby, but staff will carry your bags. Opens on pedestrian street, so traffic noise is minimal. Main issue was that it took nearly 10 minutes for hot water to arrive in our room after turning on the hot water faucet. We didn't know this on our first night and thought we had to do without hot water altogether. If it weren't for this, we would have rated room comfort at 4 (pleasing).

We were charged for bottled water after being told it was free. Very little English spoken by staff . Reasonable breakfast . Very good location for seeing the old city. Some errors on map provided by hotel of sights in the area. OVERALL GOOD VALUE.

Second time we've stayed at Hotel Inka Path. A three minute walk to Plaza de Armas puts it in a great location. - Clean and comfortable. - Breakfast not very exciting. - No English speaking staff member.

My wife and I booked this hostel because of its location in the heart of downtown Lima. Mistake! Because a busy, bustling street was right outside our window and we could barely sleep. However, my review will focus on more important issues. The first was that we were told, on our second day, that the hostel would be FUMIGATED from 1-3pm and not to be there during those hours. When arrived at 3:15, the smell of poison was so strong that our noses and throats instantly began feeling like thumbtacks were being raked across them. An even more concerning issue for us was the taxi incident. We had asked the man working there to call us a taxi to an expensive restaurant in Miraflores; neither of us liked his vibe toward us after that moment. He charged us 40 soles, and assured us he would take pictures of the license plate and taxi number to make sure we were "very safe." When it arrived, we got in the taxi and watched as he did NOT give the driver our 40 soles but much less; he did NOT take photos of the taxi's information or the driver. Instead, he got out his phone and began videotaping my wife and I in the back seat of the taxi. Just us...and as the cab pulled away, he was still filming us directly and waved a disturbing wave "goodbye." Try as we might, we just couldn't shake the feeling that something bad was happening. At the first red light, we bolted from the cab, grabbed our things, and decided to stay in Miraflores instead. The taxi ride cost just 18 soles.

Great location on the Main Street of center Lima between the main two squares. Great staff as well. No AC in the room wasn't fun but we had extra fans which made it comfortable Very safe as well. Don't make yourself a target and enjoy the city like we did.

Recepcioner only works as a officer not kind. This hostel(But they say hotel) is very old and not comfort to stay. Breakfirst is very simple. But it located neat the downtown. It is only advantaged that I experienced.

Las camas son duras.

Lad mig fremhvæve den venlige og imødekommende modtagelse i receptionen og lad mig fremhæve wifi der fungerede fint på værelset. Værelsets standard var ringe. Rummet fremstod slidt og beskidt. Rummet var placeret centralt i hotellet, der var derfor ingen vinduer, men en ventilator der larmede når den kørte. Sengetøjet/dynen bestod af et lagen og et sengetæppe der virkede gammelt og urent. Bruseren var tilkalket. Hotellets centrale placering er en klar fordel.

Central location as you can walk easily around to all the attractions in old Lima. We had a 3 night stay and nobody cleaned our room and there was an odor in the bathroom but bed was comfortable. Staff was really helpful especially the man in the bar who helped us twice find safe cabs and helped with the luggage as well.The beakfast was very basic,scrambled eggs buns jam and little fruit.

Wir waren bereits am Anfang der Reise in diesem Hotel und haben es wieder aufgesucht, da es praktisch gelegen ist, freundliche Bedienung hat und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt.
