Bohol Vantage Resort

Firstly, let me explain that I am very particular about places that I would stay. Cleanliness has to be of the utmost importance. I don’t like bugs in my room. Bugs generally tell you that the place you are staying, possibly is not as clean as it appears. My experience at this location was number one. It was not extremely clean and we did have experiences with bugs in the room so if that concerns you, I probably would say this is not your cup of tea. The food was somewhat limited as far as the menu is concerned. When it was on a non-menu and a buffet basis in the morning, the buffet was not always kept fresh as we all expect our meals to be. Overall, I believe the staff could be and should be trained better to give better service and make their stay more memorable. I started by first coming to a hole and stain in the Bellevue resort. The Bellevue resort is owned by a Chinese family, who obviously likes to cater to people who like cleanliness, a hospitable staff and wonderful amenities. This is what I am comparing this resort to which I would not consider a resort so my standards are going to be much higher. However, there is one thing that I did really enjoy from this location is the panoramic view for being up on top of the hill. This was supposed to be a very memorable experience as I was getting engaged over this time. In which we actually went and got a room on the engagement night at the location that we first stayed back in December. This was the Belmont resort resort.

If you like an old dated hotel with poor service this place is for you. Truly shocking especially paying 14,000PHP for one nights stay. On another note the food, view and pool are wonderful just everything else sucked

View from room was great. Not enough staff to accommodate guests needs. No elevator to get to lower level rooms. Going up is a challenge.

Beautiful panoramic view from my room to restaurant as well. The staff is friendly and nice. The pool is slippery as they have the tiles that’s not safe for slip and fall.

Property was very nice. Access has very steep incline but manageable.

Great views. Nice pizza at Panorama restaurant. A bit separated from amenities. Inconsistent WiFi was extremely frustrating, which made it hard to do work.

Great position for a peaceful stay.Food and drink prices very reasonable with nice restaurant and views.All the staff,especially Fleur de Lyes, attentive and efficient.

Don't expect luxury or perfection, but this is a good place to stay.

It has a great view. It's like a hotel on the coast of Naples. But there are so many black ants in the room, and the stove is very rusty, and one of the two bathrooms has no warm water.The food in the restaurant was too bad, Don't expect delicious breakfast or dinner, you'd better do it outside.

We had a wonderful stay on Bohol and we owe a large part of it to the Vantage Resort. Taxi drivers will lament the drive up the hill, but the views from the Vantage Resort are stunningly beautiful. The staff was warm and very helpful. The pool was cool and refreshing. The hammocks on each deck were a welcome amenity. The restaurant offers a large menu and serves great meals. It was kind of like having our very own mountain hideaway! We endorse!

the staff at the reception desk is not well trained to answer customer concerns. Ask to talk to a manager and left a message to talk to one but never got a return call. . Beware there is no elevator in this whole hotel and i would not recommend it to anyone who has a disability. Most of the rooms are downstairs and can only be accessed through a narrow staircase. We booked this hotel through Expedia since i always do it through them and have never had a problem.. We booked for 3 people, me my husband plus my sister who is suffering from a knee injury. We took her because we wanted her to enjoy the view and the fresh air thus the reason we chose this particular hotel except that nowhere was it mentioned upon booking that this particular hotel was not handicapped friendly. There are no elevators + most of the rooms are downstairs and could be accessed only through a narrow staircase. I tried to explain to the lady at the front desk that there was no way we could stay there because of my sister's disability but she just played deaf to what I was saying and even asked to talk to a manager but no manager called me .
