Henann Resort Alona Beach

The hotel neighbors around the property, their poor shanty house and their whole life is directly the view from when you open the door to go out of your room. Not exactly the sight you expect to see when you book and pay for a top hotel. The buffets were decent. Bring potable water or buy bottled water, the tap water will give you diarrhea just by brushing your teeth with it. My whole family got diarrhea most of our stay. They should clean and filter it. Again, just expectations from a top hotel.

Lobby is so hot not air conditioned.

A sufficiently equipped and serviced 5-star hotel. The pool is very attractive. The location is good, with many restaurants around the hotel, making it enjoyable. It is a hotel that can provide ample satisfaction.

Very pleasant and helpful staff and our stay was overall wonderful. We had the villa which availed us VIP access. The villa was great and so was the hotel amenities. The beach was beautiful with its white sands. We stayed for four nights and would have stayed longer if not not for prebooked trip to Cebu

청결도 및 시설 보수 상태도 직원 친절함 등 모든게 좋아요 다만 홈쇼핑에서 여행상품 광고를 많이해서 그런지 한국인이 많아졌고 그에 따라 객실 가격이 좀 올랐네요 어른들만 이용 할 수 있는 수영장이 있어서 조용하고 좋았습니다 체크인은 웨이팅이 길고 좀 느린 편이고 조식 뷔페는 이용객이 많아서 번잡해서 일찍 이용 했더니 너무 좋았어요

Excellent property with varied amenities! Great room fixtures! 3 wonderful and well maintained huge pools! Pretty and clean white sand beach with clear water. Very friendly and accommodating staff! Super buffet breakfast with tons of choices! Overall, a 5 star resort!

Another fantastic vacation spent here, big shoutout to Joey and the wonderful staff at the sea breeze cafe, greeted by the 2 ladies at the entrance, they all really know how a guest should be treated. I will stay again here because of them. Thanks guys and see you again.

Stayed for 4 days and it was a good experience. There are good points and areas for improvement. First, the staff were all hard workers and I appreciated their smiles and greetings. The waiter, Geneluv, was very hospitable, when we asked for room service. For a 5-star hotel, the bathtub hot water would be filled and then turned into a cold shower. Do they limit the amount of hot water used per room? At check-in, we were strongly asked not to bring in outside food. On the other hand, I saw people eating cup noodles by the pool. Depending on the room you are assigned, you may have to turn around to go anywhere, which is inconvenient.

Terrible place, tried to charge me for smoking in the room because an empty cigarette package was in the trash can from.night out at beach. Any way they can scam you they will..... this 3 star hotel claims to be 5. Outdated appliances with airconditioning that cant even get the room to temperature, mini fridges that do not work properly, beds that crack and squeak, and roaches in room. Balcony that fits 1 chair, or is so non private people walk by on a path in front of yoir room like a drive up motel. Pictures are truly decieving on the rooms they are outdated for sure.. it seems this place likes to overcharge for every basic service that if u walk 20 feet down the beach the service quality and price is better by far. The pools are nice but u could just walk in from the beach and not a sole would know because they truly have 0 security that pays attention as most of the guards just sleep on duty or watch women and stop no one. The breakfast is good however caters to korean tastes mostly. Drinks, are good but almost double the price for same atmosphere as the rest of the beach and similar quality. Ive been to.many resorts and was never disgusted like i was here..my advice, skip this has been place and book elsewhere, take a trike to alona or book a better resort down the beach that their pics might not look as great, they are real and definatly better in person. Not to mention if u throw away an empty pack of smokes in your trash they wont try to charge u $400.

This an excellent place get away with your spouse or your entire family. The service is first class and the food is great! We look forward to staying there again!

Have stayed in this property over the years.. One thing is consistent—money-making is first on their priority list. Service is probably 2nd (or 3rd).

I have stayed at many hotels and resorts around the world and this is one of my all time favorites! I am already planning another visit in a few months. The beautiful views, the outstanding quality of the resort, the many swimming pools, and the excellent service made this a wonderful vacation experience’

Traveling with a family of 5 is never easy - in pretty much any place we’ve visited. Some places, however, make it easy. They are accommodating, understand the needs of families with small children and are willing to work with you. Other places are not so great, and nickel and dime for as much as they possibly can. Henann Alona is one of those places. I booked a room well in advance for 1, so I could be close to diving. Then, my family wanted to join. I asked the front desk how I can have my family stay. I was told any room available was good for two people and I’d pay extra for each person above that number. And, the most per room is 4. So essentially I’d need to pay for one full room to accommodate the one person they would not allow in my room. Which, btw, was a junior suite, one of the largest rooms they have with multiple beds, couches, chairs - you get the point - plenty of room. And I explained I’d be willing to pay whatever to have my whole family stay. So, to accommodate my 7 year old son I had to book another room at full price - which include multiple beds, toiletries etc. If you’re looking for a family friendly, accommodating place, this may not be it. There are many other more friendly- and honestly - less greedy places than Henann.
