The Granary - La Suite Hotel

The property was nice but they didn’t see the need to let us know the lift was out of order before arriving. I purposely booked this hotel as it was accessible and I’m in a wheelchair. We then had the issue of arriving at midnight to loads and loads of steps. I just feel that people need to be more aware of what you should tell your guests before they arrive. They knew the lift was broken so they could’ve made us aware and moved us before we got there. Two days and they moved us, however the hotel we were moved to was really loud and not what we had originally wanted.

We live at the penthouse floor with huge side windows however the windows were not cleaned so we barely can open the curtain to enjoy the view You can see the spider webs at the corner of our in room stairs up to the living room place. The front desk staffs are nice, however the breakfast staff is not attentive perhaps due to lack of people, as a 5 stars hotel service I would say not qualified. Location is, nonetheless, excellent

Great hotel, very nice breakfast, easy walking distance to the beautiful city. Plenty of teams, buses and taxi reasonable price if you wish to go further afield

Bathrooms had no counters, tub was unsafe to get in and out. Half the outlets did not work. TV was placed in a strange location in the room. 3 staff was attending to breakfast during the week where there was no guests, on the weekends they only had one person to serve. We had very large luggage and to check in had to use a long staircase, no one came out to help. For a 5 star hotel, this was not a 5 star service. I would give it 3. Conveniace was the only plus.

We wanted to love this hotel. And in fairness, a lot of things were great about it. It is located very close to the city center, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are huge, especially by European standards, so there is plenty of room to spread out. The bathrooms are nice and updated. We did have a couple of issues while we were there, though. One was that the Wi-Fi did not work consistently in our room, and that was a problem for us because we came from outside of Europe and had to use data to run our electronic devices. Keeping our five-year-old entertained without consistent Wi-Fi was very difficult. Second, the hotel is very close to a school, and we were awoken at 8 AM every morning by the sounds of school children playing nearby, so if you are trying to sleep in, this might not be the place for you. Third, the hotel is built in an old granary, which we thought was very cool. The only issue seemed to be that there might still be some grain left in the building, and my husband‘s allergies went nuts every time we came in. I’m not 100% sure that this is related, but it definitely seemed to follow that pattern, and if you are a person who has an allergy to grains, it’s something that you might think about. Long story short, we enjoyed our stay overall, but these little things took away from it.

Spacious room with every amenity you need (fridge, iron, nespresso machine, nice toiletries). Tv did not work and the WiFi signal was very weak. Tasty breakfast.

Great, spacious place. Room was quiet and perfectly relaxing. Bathroom had an incredible bath. Great little get away.

청결에 좀 더 신경써야할듯 시설 좋고 가성비 매우 뛰어난 방이었으나 1. 수건은 먼지가 넘 많았음 2. 화장실과 세면기에 먼지와 헤어가 ㅡ.ㅡ 3. 방에 개미가 ㅡ.ㅡ 4. 책상에 콘센트가 없어 랩탑을 사용할 수 없었음 5. 화장실이 고장났는데, 어떻게 하겠다는 말이 없어 로비 화장실 사용함 ㅡ.ㅡ 직원들도 너무 친절하고 분위기도, 방 사이즈도 넘 좋았으나 좀 더 세심한 케어와 배려가 필요할듯

This was our second stay at The Granary, and it was nothing short of horrifying. We arrived to check in at 14:00. We knew we were early, but the young lady at the front desk informed us one of our two rooms was already clean and ready. When we went to our first room, we noticed the crib for our baby was not in the room. We stopped by the front desk on our way out, and she assured us the crib would be in one of the rooms when we returned. We returned at 21:30 after a long day with family in Wroclaw. We went upstairs to find two things. First, the second room was not at all clean - it had not been touched by housekeeping. Second - neither room had a crib. My husband and mother-in-law - both Polish citizens and native Polish speakers - went down to the front desk again while I stayed with our baby and our 6 year old. The two men had to hunt for a clean, available room for my mother-in-law and 6 year old, a process that took over an hour. Additionally, they told us they had accidentally given away all the cribs to people who checked in AFTER us, so there was nowhere for our baby to safely sleep. We had to stay awake all night taking turns with her. Exhausting and SO unsafe. The hotel would provide no refund, even after admitting exactly what we said happened occurred. Our family in Wroclaw is disgusted at how terrible we were treated, and we've begun to publicize how dirty and dangerous this hotel is. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Lovely place - spacious room and lovely bathroom. The only downside was room service when we enquired, not being all hours or possible past 10pm as stated on website. Would stay again

Hotel is well located close to main attractions. However it is not 5 star hotel, rooms are tired, with dirty carpets, walls and baseboards. I had also multiple hair in my bed. When reported it I was told it will be faster to get cleaner to change bedlinen then to arrange new room. The rooms are also not well desinged. My room was super spacious with separate sitting area with tv and bedroom space with no window and no tv. Bathroom shower is also not well design with corner bath and the shower curtain that is not protecting from getting the bathroom splashed with water during showering. The service is also not geat, it is impossible to reach reception by the phone and to order room service I had to find phone number for the hotel restaurant online. The restaurant staff did not know if there is separate room service menu and as there is none in the room I had to use online menu for the restaurant. The food was brought to the room without any coverage which is not hygienic and meant it was loosing heat as well. The hotel was also very strict about check in no ealier then 3 pm, even when booking a day before there was plenty rooms available, being just abour 1.5h ealier I was told to wait and go somewhere and come back no elalier then 3 pm as the room is not ready. Receptionst has suggested potentially having coffee in hotel resturant however after being told to go out I did not feel comortable staying in the hotel resturant. This did not felt like 5 star hotel hospitality

We received a room which was not displayed on Expedia website. Pillows were uncomfortable. Furthermore cleaning of rooms only occurred at 4pm when we already got back to the hotel from a day out, therefore we did not engage with the cleaning services. Good location and easy check in check out process. Room was otherwise in decent condition, although amenities were lacking.

Great hotel with nice spacious rooms, in good location, very friendly staff and service, great breakfast, all you need for 2-3 days city visit like we did.

Camere niente di speciale. Grande ,vero, molto spaziosa e bella la vasca ad angolo ma per il resto mi aspettavo di più da un cinque stelle. Siamo arrivati, avevamo una stanza per due persone, ci hanno dato le card e detto il numero della camera. Arrivati in stanza troviamo un letto aggiuntivo e una culla, probabilmente era un errore. Sono tornata alla reception per farlo presente e la ragazza è stata indifferente.. peccato perché una camera così grande con un letto e una culla inutili nel mezzo, risultava poco spaziosa. La culla e il lettino sono rimasti lì per due notti, ci sono stati portati via solo l'ultima sera. I prodotti da bagno sono ricaricabili e il giorno dell'arrivo lo shampoo e la crema erano vuoti, c'era solo il sapone. Mi aspettavo inoltre qualche prodotto da bagno in più per un cinque stelle. Le ciabatte non c'erano. Appena entrati nella stanza abbiamo trovato appoggiato sul lavandino un tappo di un dentifricio non nostro. La vista dalla nostra camera era proprio brutta, piano basso vista parcheggio auto. Colazione ottima con anche menù alla carta e personale gentile. Letto comodo. Struttura molto bella ma camere normalissime, ottima vasca, bella l'idea della macchina per Nespresso in camera. Nel complesso, ho visto 4 stelle decisamente migliori di questo 5, non vale la spesa.

Lovely hotel, friendly staff. Rooms very clean. Pillows too soft even with two. Could do with a mat in bath so dont slip getting out when having a shower. Fresh cooked breakfast ie scrambled eggs or omlettes were not cooked in the middle so werent edible. Slow service also. Buffet was nice though.

Hotel 4* moderne avec suites de 35m2 minimum proche du centre historique : 10 à 15mn pour rejoindre la place centrale Rynek. Suite exclusive très lumineuse au 2ème étage (très grande baie vitrée). Personnel professionnel réactif.

Great hotel. Wonderful room. Room servicing staff excellent. Restaurant needs a lot of work. The wine was opened and poured without tasting being offered, the food served was cold and had to be sent back to the kitchen, waiting staff didn’t seem to be trained sufficiently for a restaurant that’s trying for ‘fine dining’. No apology was offered for the food being served cold and when, at the end it was said that the service was unacceptable, a ‘we told the kitchen’ was offered by way of justification. The food has the potential to be very good but the restaurant has to address staff/customer interface with requisite training.
