NEXT - Savoy Signature

Absolutely amazing hotel . Smell in the lobby , attentive stuff , quiet music , facilities - everything was the highest level

Just back from a week staying at Next Savoy Signature. We booked a studio room with sea view and were not disappointed. The room was large & bed very comfortable. It had a large balcony overlooking the pool & sea. Staff all very friendly & helpful. Breakfast buffet was amazing, huge choice of hot & cold food. We also had an evening meal in the restaurant by the pool, food & staff there were excellent also. I would highly recommend & would stay there again if returning to Madeira.

Room was very cold and AC was defective, no coffee provided, room service was unavailable, no water, shampoo, body lotion, robes, or slippers provided. Stay was mediocre for the pric.

perfect staycation !

The room was clean, we had great service for the time we were there. The only negative point was the smell in hallway during the day. It smelled like sewer those Times but when we entered the room it was ok. We had a room in the second building next to the pool with a kitchen Which was useful and well equiped. The location is perfect, not too close but not too far from the city, a 15-20 minutes walk.

Cet hôtel n’est pas “Merveilleux”, comme évalué ici. Un peu fatigué par le voyage pour rejoindre ce magnifique archipel, j’ai dû patienter en fin de matinée car ma chambre n’était pas encore disponible. J’ai donc décidé d’aller me détendre à la piscine extérieure, mais j’ai été un peu déçu en la découvrant. Au restaurant attenant, j’ai demandé si je pouvais déjeuner. On m’a installé en terrasse, où j’ai attendu, seul, longtemps avant d’obtenir la carte, puis encore plus pour être servi. Le “hamburger Lagosta” choisi contenait bien du bœuf, mais aucune trace de homard ni de langouste, ce qui fut décevant, surtout après une entrée de houmous assez médiocre. À la fin du repas, j’ai signalé ma déception au serveur qui m’apportait la facture. Il m’a dit qu’il allait le transmettre, est parti avec l’addition, puis est revenu aussitôt avec la même facture, sans aucune modification. Difficile, dans ces conditions, de justifier les 10 % de service. Par la suite, chaque passage à la piscine a confirmé l’impression laissée par la nonchalance du personnel, ce qui explique probablement pourquoi le restaurant est si peu fréquenté. Heureusement, le soir venu, le bar à l'entrée de l’hôtel relevait le niveau grâce à José, un Cap-Verdien véritable professionnel du cocktail et très agréable à la conversation. De même pour Pedro, chargé des serviettes à la piscine, dont l’amabilité tranchait nettement avec l’attitude désinvolte des autres serveurs tatoués et attifés de leurs jeans délavés.

Tidy rooms, amazing facilities and great hotel all round

Spacious rooms, great location, and great service. The pier by the sea made it easy and fun to swim and jump into the sea.

Good= location next to the beach, close to many restaurants, good value. Bad= queen bed was 2 singles pushed together, mattress was hard& uncomfortable , coffee at breakfast buffet was disgusting.

Veldig fine fasiliteter! Fint bassengområde, svært god mat i restauranten. Det er også poolområde på taket i 11. etasje med sinnsykt fin utsikt! God service - vi fikk først et rom på nederste etasje i det andre bygget som var tilhørende hotellet, og vi synes det var litt mørkt og luktet rart på badet. Da vi ga beskjed fikk vi umiddelbart et nytt rom i 8. etasje i hovedbygget, med en utrolig vakker utsikt, romslig og lyst! Kjempefornøyd med det nye rommet. Frokosten var en terningkast 4 - de hadde mange gode alternativer, men det manglet det lille ekstra. De som jobbet der var veldig hyggelige alle sammen. De har et bevoktet parkeringshus rett over veien for 11 euro i døgnet. Vi delte opp ferien med halve tiden på et hotell i old town, og halve tiden her, og det var helt perfekt. Hotellet anbefales!

Heaven hotel, highly recommend

Établissement que nous avons connu en 2021 et qui nous avait beaucoup plu puisque nous sommes revenus à 2 reprises en 2022. Mais cette année (2025), nous sommes déçus : personnel qui a changé est peu accueillant, décoration ascenseurs très vulgaires, pas de Irish coffee au bar du 11ème étage, barwoman dans le hall ne connaissant pas le vin de Madère. Seuls points positifs : le personnel s’occupant des chambres est très professionnel et très aimable et la chambre (506) que nous avions déjà occupée en 2021 est très bien et a une vue splendide.

Property was very noisy and the staff seemed non existent

The hotel is ideally located and short walk to the town and local restaurants. The pools are great with beach/sea access. We did find it disappointing that on several occasions when trying to get a sun lounger, it was impossible due to people taking them for the full day. Service was very hit and miss with waits at the bar as well as reception for any assistance. We had been promised a welcome drink due to a sepcial occasion which never arised, even when we asked about it. Overall, service levels can certainly be improved.

Amazing stay, staff went out of their way to make sure we were looked after and that seemed to be the norm.
