Auberge très bien située, permet de tout faire à pieds à partir de la gare de São Bento qui est lui-même un lieu magnifique. Dortoir confortable et très bien aménagé, c'est agréable d'avoir des rideaux pour chaque lit pour avoir un peu d'intimité. Ménage nickel et le personnel à l'accueil est toujours prêt à répondre à nos questions.

This is definitely a hostel for community & making friends-they have tons of events & really promote that. Beds were comfortable, had curtains, and your locker/room was locked by a bracelet you got at check-in making it very convenient. Location is awesome-you are close to tons of bars/restaurants/Porto attractions, and getting to the river is a 10-15 minute walk downhill. If you want a quiet hostel, this probably is not the place for you with the guests it attracts and also being in a train station. Overall I had an excellent time & would stay there again!

I loved staying here. The novelty, history and charm of the railway station, the proximity to so many things including food, transport and a Fado show next door!

Red Flag — Great Stay, But Major Safety Concerns I genuinely enjoyed my stay overall — the atmosphere was great, the location convenient, and the staff generally friendly. However, safety is a serious concern that future guests should be aware of. Unfortunately, my bag was stolen from the reception area, where guests are encouraged to leave their luggage for temporary storage. I trusted this service, only to find that my belongings had disappeared — with no clear explanation. To make matters worse, I was told the security cameras weren’t functioning properly, so there’s no footage of the incident. When I asked for further investigation, the response was dismissive at best. I was told, “Sorry, this never happened before,” which didn’t help recover my belongings or restore trust. Too many unanswered questions and a lack of accountability turned what could have been a great experience into a stressful and disappointing one. Bottom line: If you choose to stay here, do NOT leave your luggage at reception — and keep your valuables with you at all times.

Nice, convenient location in the city centre. Some nice activities run by the staff. The hostel does have people popping in and and out at odd hours. The cleaning ladies do a fabulous job and are very helpful. Breakfast is average and depends on on who has woken up after last nights pub crawl to get things ready for the guests, accordingly some items may or may not be there. No food or drinks allowed in the dorm but that doesn't stop people from opening a bottle of wine and drinking it openly or turning the lights on at mid night or talking loudly. While some are more respectful of others privacy, the others may be not. Beware that there could be some guests lurking around just to make friends for a free drink and more. But as I said all in all it is convenient and that's important.

ファミリールームを選択した事で、 凄く広いスペースで活用できました。 近代的ではないですが、設備等は近代的で、 旅行をする駅前のホテルは最高でした。 駅の構内の店も最後です。

Such a wonderful surprise once we got off the train to find that the hostel was directly in the station! Everyone was wonderful and the building was beautiful! Really enjoyed all of the events the staff offered like the walk to the park for sunset!!! and the evening dinner, so much hospitality!

The staff is the best part, they are all extremely kind and helpful. The kitchen area on the top floor for breakfast was collegial. There's an elevator, laundry room and very clean bathrooms. It was a novelty to stay here, in a private room. But the city is digging a new subway line directly in front of the hostel, so the windows face into a noisy construction zone. The room has blackout drapes but ... there's a window at loft bed-level, above the door, where every time someone walks down the hallway and triggers the motion sensor light, your room lights up.

This was a unique facility. Being in a train station it was a little loud but also very memorable.

Cool place. I walked there from the train station but would love to have taken the metro right to the station where the hostel is located. Staff was lovely and helpful. Would stay there again!

O hostel é sensacional, super bem localizado dentro da estação São Bento de Comboios, as camas são amplas e os banheiros limpos com frequência e tudo super bem novo e organizado. Há uma cozinha completa para uso coletivo e onde servem o café da manhã, público muito variado frequenta o lugar. Vale super a pena para uma estadia animada e bem localizada na cidade do Porto. As Senhoras que cuidam da limpeza fazem um ótimo serviço. No quesito conforto, volto dizer que falta um pouco mais d orientação aos hospedes quanto a barulhos e forma de uso dos espaços, muitos falam alto, conversam em horário inapropriado, batem as portas, falam ao celular dentro do quarto incomodando o sono dos outros. Oferecem armário com pulseira de acesso, Não oferecem toalhas (leve a sua). Mas eu voltaria de boa e me hospedar nesse lugar!

Great location. Large clean bathroom. Spacious room. Location is the best!!!!!!! A little noisy with outside construction but they stop around 5pm so not bad. Great price, excellent location, friendly staff. Oh, did I mention location? Location is EXCELLENT.

Our room did not have a fan to help with comfort and block out construction noise. Otherwise the staff was excellent.

This is such a marvelous hostel! The ever patient and friendlystaff, the relaxed and easy atmosphere. There are all sorts of little details that make it a special place, l(ike the key bracelets that save you from looking for the room key all the time! ) And the iconic building - a gorgeous space right inside the beautiful Sao Bento train station.
