Mercure Bucharest Unirii

I had a very pleasant stay at the Mercure Bucharest Unirii and can definitely recommend the hotel. The location is excellent—very central and perfect for exploring the city. Many attractions, restaurants, and shopping options are within easy walking distance. The room was modern, clean, and well-equipped. I especially appreciated the comfortable bed and the quiet atmosphere, which made for a restful sleep. The staff were friendly, professional, and always helpful. Both check-in and check-out were quick and smooth. The breakfast was also very good, with a nice selection, fresh products, and a pleasant dining environment. Overall, a very enjoyable stay with great value for money.

The rooms were clean and the staff was kind...but I had three major issues: 1. I was overcharged 40 euros at dinner on my first night at the hotel for a bottle of wine that I did not order....the waiter removed the charge...but if I hadn't looked over the bill, I would have never known. 2. The hair dryer in our room only worked for about 30-45 seconds at a time...then had to wait to let it cool off each time. 3. After returning late at night and going to our room on the fifth floor, our key didn't work...so we had to go back down to the lobby...two times....to have them recharge our keys. Not really a big deal, except when it's late and at the end of the day and you just want to get to your room to get settled for the night.

Breakfast was good always a varied selection. Staff were polite and helpful. We stayed in a superior room which was amazing and had extra amenities and grat views. We then moved before to a standard for our tour group. Standard room was as you would expect clean and comfortable. Great location.

ısınma problem, klima ile ısınmada bütün gece klima sesi çekersiniz. Fazladan battaniye isterseniz yok derler. çıkarken bir de sizden ekstra almadığınız ürünlerin parasını almaya kalkarlar. bu oteli ve çalışanlarını onaylamıyorum

Room is clean and location is also close to central town. If you are visiting only few days, I think it is a good one. Just check the room you get if matched to the only you booked.

Everything was clean in the room and the staff were nice. Only thing was we couldn’t sleep the past 2 night cause of people next door shouting and banging

Nice hotel, in the city centre, walkable distance to the metro station and other public transport. Close to the parliament. Good service, clean and spacious room. Nice breakfast

Great staff that facilitated discussions prior to arrival. They ensured that airport pick up was sorted and the pick up was on time and very professional. The stay was great, without any issues.

Mycket trevligt hotell med bra service och en restaurang/bar med rimliga priser och god kvalité. Alla lokaler vi besökte i Bucharest, inklusive hotellet hade mycket hög inomhustemperatur, rummens termostat var ställd på 25 grader i alla rummen och ställdes tillbaka av dem som städade om man hade ändrat. Enda sätter att kunna sova var att ha fönstret öppet, termostaten gick inte lägre än 20 grader och det märktes ingen skillnad om man ställde den på det. Som kvinna ser jag det som ett stort problem att så gott som alla hotell i världen inte har tillräcklig belysning i badrummet, man får sminka sig i halvmörker OCH motljus från spotar och får gå på känsla och erfarenhet och hoppas att man inte går ut och ser ut som en clown. De nämnde att de tänkt sätta in sminkspeglar med förstoring och ljud, men det hjälper bara en del av problemet, du ser förvisso vad du gör, men det går inte att se slutresultatet.

I only booked this hotel the night before i arrived having changed it from another, the distance to city centre & locality swayed me. After a very early flight i was delighted that a room was ready for me when I arrived. The room was perfect, spacious, comfortable & clean. The staff were so friendly & helpful & when i said I wouldnt be able to make breakfast for 2 of the mornings, i was told that they could prepare a breakfast to go as long as i ordered it by 8pm the night before. When i went to do this, the young lady wasnt aware of this option (i do believe it was just a misunderstanding due to me not being able to speak Romanian & not able to communicate properly to her) so i didnt get to order anything. The breakfast choices were wide & varied & very attentitive staff on hand to help. One small thing that i thought was simple but so effective was that the towels in the bathroom had little hanging loops on them. All hotels should do this so that towels that you want to reuse can be hung securely on the hook without risk of falling off. Only 2 things I can fault (if even), I only received water once (4 night stay), & on my last morning when i was trying to relax before departure, there was some very noisy maintenence work going on outside my room. To be fair, as soon as I peeked out the door, they stopped. If i ever come back to Bucharest I would most definitely stay at this hotel & I would reccomend it to family & friends. The price point was excellent too.

The hotel is close, about 10 minute walk to old town and a straight but longer walk to house of parliament. Bucharest is huge so hard to get a hotel close to everything. Anyway Mercure urinii staff were incredible from the start. I had five days before a tour I was on started from same hotel. They made it so easy to stay in my room rather than change. Allowed me to keep a bag in storage until I returned. And if you want a chat check Louis out in the hotel bar. Breakfast is plentiful with all you need. I find it hard to fault. Well done Mercure
