Great accommodation and location.

Delightful.Although the room was not large, it had every convenience and was spotlessly clean. Convenient location and reasonably priced.

Even though it states B&B, it is only Bed! There is one cafe in the village near the place. Otherwise, clean and close to Cruden bay golf club

Lovely little room with everything i needed. Everything was spotless and in good order the hardest thing to do was get out of bed in the morning so comfortable i will be back

Excellent B&B. Mine was a last minute booking and have no regrets. Lovely Choices for breakfast. Water in room fridge was a nice touch.

The owner is super nice and the breakfast was made fresh and delicious. The room, however, was tiny, and there isn’t much around the B&B as far as restaurants and walkable sights.

Perfect location for stay while playing. Ruben Bay and visiting Slains Castle.

Our stay with Celia at By the Bay was wonderful. It was easy to communicate with the lister and our accommodations were amazing. Our breakfast in the morning was well presented and perfect to get your day started.

Convenient location in Cruden Bay. Unseasonably warm but had a great window with great ventilation that also was hidden from view. Nice.

Comfy bed. Super clean room. Very friendly host. Great location close to the harbour and of course, Cruden Bay golf course.

Super convenient for Cruden Bay golf course, in a lovely setting with super clean modern rooms. WiFi,TV, en-suit and a little fridge which was a bonus for hot summer nights.

Very modern property clean with private access, great shower and the room has own temperature control. Did not have breakfast so cant comment but dinning area was very well laid out and again modern. Would definitely come back.

Nice and friendly host. All following COVID guidelines and very clean. Choice of brown toast would be nice but getting picky there! Didn't get a VAT receipt (business trip) and struggling to get a response from the host.

Decent place, ideal for working away. Will revisit next time I'm working in the area.

I have stayed here before & left a raving review as had a great experience - but unfortunately not this time. I am travelling on my own with work & my employer ALWAYS books a double room with an en suite. When I arrived Celia took me to a room with single beds?? I said no, I have an executive room with an en suite. She said the only room left was this one with single beds or one that wasnt en suite but the bathroom was along the hallway. I was not happy but thought its now going into evening - but really annoyed as I had put an extra 40 minutes commute both ways to stay here. I reluctantly agreed to this. Then Celia said she would leave my new room key on the table downstairs. I then went to this SHARED BATHROOM to freshen up then was going out for a walk. Went downstairs to get key and Celia said she had left them in my room??? What??? When?? Oh when I was in this shared bathroom she went into my room? That is an absolute breach of my privacy and I was so offended and annoyed. WHO DOES THAT??? Later on I was getting more annoyed as when I went to this shared bathroom I had to lock my bedroom door - creep along - and was even worse when I had to go for a shower as I had to take everything. I left early next morning without evening saying goodbye - contacted Hotel.com who were great and refunded me my money in full. Never will I recommend this place now. Will never return. There was no apology last night either - a female travelling on her own & I get a shared bathroom?

Warm house and a warmer welcome. Lovely place to stay in a lonely area. Staying for work but would be happy to bring my family.
