Holiday Inn EDINBURGH by IHG, an IHG Hotel

Sehr nettes und höfliches Personal. Zimmer groß und ruhig. Rabatt im Zoo nebenan. Transfer Bus in die Stadt direkt vorm Haus. Restaurant sehr lecker. Etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber es hat uns gut gefallen. Danke.

Far away from city cen

No convient access for people in wheel chair. Tons of stairs

Front desk guys were very welcoming , friendly and helpful! The staff in charge of the kitchen not so kind , they were somehow rude to help when asked a question During breakfast time . Good location. Not so close by foot to the city center, but easy access by buss which stop it right outside the hotel. We had a great stay overall.

Good hotel, nice and clean. Doesnt look much from outside but nice inside. Rooms need a bit of an upgrade but clean.

As an IHG member and avid traveler I am appalled that this hotel has such high ratings on your app. Beautifully lobby and restaurant area and that’s about it. The corridors look like hospital corridors and smell of must and mold. The rooms are drab. Apparently mine had been recently refurbished but you could never tell due to the old looking bathroom and carpet. The sad looking kettle didn’t work either. Walls are paper thin and doors slam hard so we were woken up at 6am I had booked months in advance for the Oasis show at a time where I could have gone somewhere else but trusted IHG. I cannot believe I paid 1300 for 2 nights for this when I could have had so much better. I feel robbed. This place felt so dirty.

The lobby and restaurant are really nice. The hallway to the rooms is unbelievably terrible. The hallway is dirty and very very worn. The trim around all the doors is scuffed and chipped and the doors are dirty. Our room wasn’t great, the toilet didn’t work properly and there was a set of odd looking keys left in one of the pillowcases….totally weird! The motion light outside our room kept trying to come on at about 3am. Every minute a loud buzz sound would go off. Finally went downstairs to the lobby at 3:30am and told staff. They managed to turn it off about 30min later. At about 6am there was another strange sound. The hotel is beside a zoo and some exotic bird was making some crazy loud whistle sounds. Between all the noises and the keys being inside a pillow case and the toilet it didn’t make for a very enjoyable stay, especially the night before a long haul flight. The wifi also didn’t work in the room. On a positive, the staff was great and the lobby and restaurant were really nice.

Restaurant at the facility was nice but not much less ever close. Bed was a bit firm.

L’hôtel est très confortable. Piscine et salle de sport super. La piscine est très agréable. Le seul souci est le wifi. Inexistant dans les chambres.

Schönes familiäres Hotel, sehr gut an öffentliche Verkehrsmittel angebunden.

Lovely place. Staff where very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was lovely too also other meals were great Would recommend this holiday inn. My family and me would definitely stay here again. And bus stop outside the holiday inn to take you into Edinburgh and other places

Der Service und das freundliche Personal waren top! Das Frühstück war sehr gut und umfangreich. Beim Zustand des Badezimmers und der Poolanlage gibt es Verbesserungspotential. Ein Schlafplatz verfügte nicht über eine Steckdose oder einen Lichtschalter.

Very comfy beds, friendly staff, clean. I didn't like that there's no microwave nor fridge.
