best thing about this hotel was ease of access to trams and good resteraunts

Beautiful area

The location was excellent for boarding a ship the next day. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. The furniture in the room seemed a bit dated but certainly functional.

Good location with tram access into city. Near by shopping centre not up to much. Room carpet could be better some stains. Breakfast was a bit of a free for all...would like cereal area away from hot food to help with serving and queue. Staff helpful and friendly

Wir hatten zu zweit neun Übernachtungen gebucht und waren insgesamt zufrieden mit Service, Anbindung an die Innenstadt und Sauberkeit. Vom Frühstück waren wir jedoch enttäuscht: Ein Continental Breakfast wurde nicht angeboten, und auch für englische Verhältnisse war das Angebot objektiv schlecht. Die Würstchen waren täglich trocken, das Fertigrührei hatte die Konsistenz von Hüttenkäse und der Kaffee war ungenießbar. Abseits des warmen Essens gab es nur Marmelade und Cornflakes; Wurst und Käse fehlten völlig. Ab dem dritten Tag brachten wir eigenen Aufschnitt mit, was vom Personal toleriert wurde. Das Zimmer war schlicht, aber sauber und funktional. Positiv fiel uns das neue und sehr bequeme Bett auf. Das Bad hingegen war renovierungsbedürftig: Die Dusche hatte keine Abflussschräge, nur einen dünnen Vorhang, wodurch regelmäßig der gesamte Boden unter Wasser stand. Auch die Lüftung funktionierte nicht mehr. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit, wirkte jedoch teils unterbesetzt, was sich etwa in langen Wartezeiten beim Check-in zeigte.

Room smelt a bit musty, which was hard to work out as room was clean. Lovely friendly staff. Breakfast was plentiful. Made use of the grab and go when had an early start. Best bit was the transport. 5 day tram ticket covered all transport to and from airport and into the city.

The sraff at the hotel were excellent! Especially Jamie, the Spanish recetuonist who also clea s and the clwaner feom Pakistan was amazing with all his kniwledge. They were so polite and kind! That made our stay!

Rooms a nice size, staff very friendly

Rekommenderas varmt. Tåget från flygplatsen till hotellet. Kollektivtrafik precis utanför till vackra Edinburg. Eller så tar ni snabba sulorna på och traskar in, mycket vackert och se i gränderna. Alla tre Hop On bussarna rekommenderas, vi tog 48 timmars, och njöt av varenda stopp. Engelsk frukost, lagom hård säng. Underbar personal.

Apesar de ser distante do centro, a facilidade de ter um Tran na porta do Hotel que te leva até o centro, faz com que a relação custo-beneficio seja bem satisfatoria. Porque o Hotel é incrivel, o café é maravilhoso. Adoramos a estadia.

Parking way over priced, for location should be substantially cheaper.

Staff are delightful. Hotel convenient. ocean terminal itself is dreadful. Room was average.

Personnel tres agreable, chambre propre, et très bon accueil. A 15/20 minutes en tramway du centre. C'est tres pratique. Ligne du tramway directe egalement pour l'aeroport. Hotel tres calme. Isolation des chambres pas ideale : on entendait parler nos voisins. Grosse deception concernant le petit dejeuner : certains produits sans saveur notamment l'omelette qui n'a absolument rien d'une omelette...les produits n'etaient pas assez rapidement approvisionnés il y a un gros soucis d'organisation. Et nous avons du faire le queue pour avoir une table (une quinzaine de personne avant nous)...Enfin, l' hotel est isolé : peu de restaurants à proximité et en plus, samedi soir à 21h tout etait deja fermé...heureusement possibilité de commander par Uber eat.

Room and hotel were clean. Breakfast was busy and the staff work hard and swiftly clean to get next diners in. Barely heard any other guests when in my room, not the outside traffic. The tram stop was just across the road and takes about 10 mins to princess street. Buses were also available. Uber was about £8 from The Playhouse theatre. I'd stay again
