Helt greit sted å bo. Rommet var fint og rent. Sengene var gode og frokosten var veldig god. Syntes det var litt rart at det ikke var lov å drikke medbrakt alkohol på rommet. Det har jeg aldri sett før og lurer på om det er fordi hotellet også driver puben under.

Room was great staff

This is a quaint hotel opposite the water just like a fishing village you see on television shows, we had a one night stay was a last minute booking as we were travelling through the area. The room was spacious, clean and located part of the hotel is a pub and the restaurant food and service was excellent.

We were only in Stonehaven for one night. However, the Ship Inn was a great choice. We (4 of us) had dinner there and it was excellent! The waiting-staff was very friendly and helpful. We had included breakfast there the next morning as well and we were glad we did with made-to-order items as well as some buffet-choices. The rooms were comfortable and the view of the harbor was wonderful.

Very good all around. Friendly and efficient staff; comfortable bed; everywhere spotlessly clean; great seafood and excellent breakfast! Plus sea views from the restaurant. Definitely recommend it.

Breakfast was good. We ate dinner there too - also good. All staff were friendly and efficient. Room was cozy, but fine for us.

Enjoyed our stay. Room was clean and comfortable. Restaurant at the hotel was good.Breakfast was included and was sit down instead of buffet. Hotel was right on the harbor so nice for an after dinner walk. Dunnottar Castle right up the street was fabulous to visit

I had a lovely stay at the Ship Inn. My single room was clean, welcoming and had a super view of the harbour. The breakfast menu was amazing, I was spoilt for choice. 5* service and produce. Over all a fabulous, faultless experience.

We loved the location - it was very charming. The view from our room was so quaint! Staff was very friendly. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and there were so many options! Would stay here again.

We loved our visit at the Ship Inn. The room was comfortable and the staff was all very friendly. The dinner in the restaurant was wonderful and the full Scottish breakfast was a great way to start the day.

Perfect location, the room was nice and clean but the service was terrible. We arrived at 4:30 and it was already impossible to book dinner at the pub for that evening and they hadn’t warned us that it would be a good idea to book ahead of time. We were woken up a 6 am by the fire alarm in the building. It took 30 min for someone from the hotel to show up and we received no explanation or acknowledgement of any kind, they didn’t even bother to tell us that it was okay to go up again… it’s probably not the average experience there but we were very disappointed.

Staff are super friendly and have amazing knowledge of the local area. The harbour is one of my favourite locations in the world and the Ship Inn harbour view room let me look at it all night.

Check in quick. Staff was pleasant. The bed could do with replacing. Breakfast was good. Area was lovely.
