Boutique hotel in one of oldest houses in central Cape Town.Location excellent for walking to all major sites in area.Staff went out of their way to help.

Lovely boutiquehotel, very friendly! (No elevator, no gym.)

Lovely older, but modern hotel! Large, comfortable room with huge bathroom and shower. The entire staff were wonderful, helpful, and friendly! Made our time in Cape Town special!

The staff and service was excellent! Be sure to have breakfast - the food and service is impeccable. Our room was very comfortable; the bathroom was upgraded. The V&A Waterfront is walkable (20-25 minutes) during the day. The area around the hotel is quite safe, but being in the CBD there are homeless people begging. The hotel arranged hotel transfers to and from the airport at a reasonable price. Our room was on the street side, so it was a bit loud at night - nothing a white noise machine can't drown out. Easy access to bars & restaurants in the square.

Great location, staff was so accommodating, very clean. Highly recommend. We loved staying here for our Cape Town visit.

It’s a good concept but not fully realised and the property seems a little shabby. Staff are nice but the real drawback is the noisy bar attached to the hotel which is super annoying for hotel guests. It does not help the hotel one bit when it comes to creating a welcoming and relaxing space. Perhaps they could turn it into a restaurant instead. Would not recommend this hotel for tourists.

Everyone was so helpful and provided the ultimate service! I will definitely stay here again and am sending my friends! Their breakfasts were also outstanding! Very well situated for a first time visitor, the hop on/off bus was only a five minutes walk! There is also a huge security presence all over so I felt very safe everywhere.

Beautiful, renovated historic hotel. Cooked to order breakfast was nice. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Would stay here again.

Hotel is located within several restaurants which can be very noisy at night. Food at the restaurants is delicious. Staff is very friendly. The room was very clean

I had a wonderful stay at this lovely hotel located in an attractive part of the city with many restaurants, and close to shopping areas. The workers at the hotel were friendly and helpful. I will stay again here next time I come back to Cape Town.

Still a decent hotel but the addition of the bar in the courtyard has made some of the rooms much too noisy.

The staff of this hotel are its biggest asset, friend, courteous, polite and very helpful, they should be commended by the owner. I have stayed in many hotels around the world but rarely do you ever get the treatment as you do at this hotel. I would also be amiss if I did not mention the breakfasts, they were so fresh, and the cooked breakfast, hot and so tasty, we would definitely stay again.

Always stay here when in Cape Town!

Disco beat outside sometimes but it IS in City Center so to be expected. Can’t wait to return.

This might be one of my favourite hotels that I've ever stayed at, for real. Staff were top notch, rooms were super comfortable, food was great - overall a very classy place.

This is such a wonderful hotel!. A true home away from home. It was my first trip to Cape Town , as a solo traveler, naturally I was apprehensive but at Cape Heritage Hotel, I felt like I was staying with my family. The property itself is a beautiful historical building, well preserved but also renovated to provide modern comforts. From the front desk staff to the house keepers, everyone made sure I had a very comfortable stay. Special shout out to Ndombi who cleaned my room daily, supplies always fully stocked. The concierge kindly provided great recommendations when I was looking for particular items/gifts to buy. The manager always made sure I had what I needed. Overall their professionalism and warmth was simply amazing. I have stayed in many hotels around the world, including the 5 stars ones but Cape Heritage was by leaps and bounds the best!. The rooms are of good size and very clean, the bathrooms immaculate (which is something I am particular about), there is even a bathtub with special soaps where I took many relaxing baths after long days of exploring Cape Town. The hotel is also centrally and conveniently located to many attractions. Great view of Table Mountain, walking distance to Long Street and Bo Kaap is a short Uber ride away. I was so impressed with this hotel and will always stay there every time I visit Cape Town
