Guzman El Bueno Suites

Location was great, check-in was easy, and having access to a washer in the room was extremely convenient. The rooftop terrace also offered stunning views. However the shower was moldy, and there were ants everywhere crawling in and out of little holes in the walls. Also the wifi would only work in the living room area (not the rooms or bathroom) and even then it would go out at times. If you’re in the middle of a long trip and need to do laundry I’d recommend this location, otherwise I’m unsure.

Absolutely unbeatable location with fantastic views from the 2nd floor apartment and the roof top terrace. Apartment had two bedrooms, a good-size bathroom and all amenities/accessories and a working lift. Negative: very barren (not a picture on the wall or a rug on the floor), no condiments or other basics (not even salt or sugar), no instructions on how to recycle/dispose of the rubbish, how to change the A/C to heating etc. A bit of basic communication would have been nice. Also, taxis cannot get into the narrow warren of the old town so be prepared to carry your luggage from the closest drop-off point.

The location of the property is excellent as it was very easy to walk to many sites, great location for restaurant choices and grocery stores.

Great location. Nice rooftop view. Plenty of space. And that’s about all the good I have to say. There was NO communication from the host- in fact I emailed six times, to 3 different addresses, none of which were answered, called two different numbers, neither of which, although listed on their site, were for the hotel, and worked with four different hotel.com reps just trying to confirm this stay and find out how to check in. My internet sleuth family member was finally able to reach someone (still unclear who) who sent us this information when we were already in the air on our way, unsure if we even had a place to stay. When we left, the number that had finally replied was “no longer in service” and we received two separate sets of check out instructions from two new numbers. The room smelled horribly- we had to go buy air fresheners when it didn’t improve during the week. Old pipes? Sewage? Unclear. It was awful. There were four bath towels total for four people, extras cost more money, and there was no dryer in unit (standard, I’m not complaining about that) or clothesline so if we washed them we still had wet towels the next day. We were never able to find the outside trash bin- it was “around the corner and down the block” so trash just piled up. There was very little living room furniture which made gathering as a family difficult. The city is beautiful and the people are lovely. Just stay elsewhere.

The location is ideal!!! It is very close to the Cathedral and walkable to the many beautiful sights, neighborhoods, and restaurants of Sevilla. We were in the heart of the celebrations of the Semana Santa which we were grateful for. The host was quick to answer our questions upon our arrival and was helpful with extra towels & a few logistical questions. However, pictures online of the property are deceiving. The apartment is dated. There was a stale scent throughout the apartment with what smelled like sewerage permeating the upstairs bedroom which made it difficult to sleep in. Host did not respond when contacted about this which was disappointing. While I assume not much could have been done regarding the smell, an acknowledgment of my text would have been appreciated. If you sleep in the downstairs bedroom, roll over at your own risk…both my teenage son and husband fell onto the floor while they slept! The twin bed frames are on wheels (only at the head of the bed) and movement as you sleep causes the mattress to shift a little at a time until you wake up on the floor. This was a costly apartment to rent, and for the amount charged, we expected better conditions. Hopefully, this honest review will encourage the owner to address these issues so that the apartment can be a compliment to its lovely location.

Great stay! Our family of 4 all enjoyed the 3 nights stay at this property! Apt located on the second floor, 2 bedrooms/bathrooms with a roof top terrace, nice view, and the elevator worked fine. It’s very clean and comfortable! The property is truly centrally located in historical sites and it’s also in a quite neighborhood. Only issue with check in information by email as mentioned on Expedia’s booking portal but instead by WhatsApp. Easy check in and out. Thanks Marta!

We had a wonderful experience at Guzman. The only one thing I would like to comment on are the bed mattresses. They are all very springy and gave everyone a backache! Otherwise, I would highly recommend this place.

Utrolig fin beliggenhet i gamlebyen, privat terrasse med utsikt rett mot katedralen. Det som ikke var bra var at det ene trinnet i virveltrappen opp til andre etasje var løst, noe som var utrolig ekkelt og et annet var i ferd med å løsne. Leiligheten stinket relativt sterk kloakk, spesielt rommet i andre etasje. Innsjekk ble litt strabasiøs da jeg ikke leste det med liten skrift om at man må melde ankomst minst 48 timer før.. Litt vanskelig når jeg booket hotellet samme dag!

Muy buena localización... si no vas con coche, claro. En nuestro caso, con un X6 y dos niñas, la hazaña fue de nota. Estaría bien haberlo avisado. Llegamos tarde y el checkin lo hicimos con código. Ibamos 4, y sabiendo que llegábamos tarde, al llegar para estar 3 dias-2 noches, nos encontramos el sofa-cama, sin sabana. Nos toco dormir la primera noche, sobre un sofa sin sabana bajera, la habitación helada dos horas... en fin, mal comienzo. Un rollo de papel higiénico para 4 personas, 3 dias, y ya usado. Todo un despliegue... 2 de las persianas, rotas. La mesa de comedor, de sillas altas, y mas bonitas -que no lo eran- que útiles - no puedes meter la silla debajo de la mesa, por ejemplo... Pedimos poder dejar las maletas en el check-out durante 2-3 horas, porque con dos niñas de 3 y 5 años, era un engorro ir a dejarlas al parking, volver, etc, etc... ¡¡¡que ocurrencia! ;-)) Muy amablemente, nos m andaba a dejarlas en una calle "cercana"... Eso si, tres cosas buenas, que hay que decirlas, por poner algo bueno.... Los techos altos, una ducha en el patio interno que para verano lo mismo es util aunque ahi no da el sol mas de 15 minutos, y sobre todo, eso si, muy puntuales: a las 12:20, ya estaba la chica de la limpieza llamando y dejando cubo y escoba en al puerta para ver cuando salíamos. En Sevilla hay sitios mucho mejores, más amables y mejor de precio. No repetiremos, obviamente.

Brilliant location right in the hub of the old town. 4 min stroll to Cathedral and the pedestrian area you need to see. Apartment was everything we expected and more.

방음시설이 전혀 안됨

세비야 대성당에서 가깝고 히터랑 뜨거운 물도 잘 나왔어요. 3일 묵었는데 청소나 수건교체는 없었지만 지내는데 문제는 없었어요.

The lift was not working. Also there was no hot water, and finally, the light at the living room kept turning off automatically after 10 min even though we were sitting there. Overall it was ok, but not the most comfortable place.
