Hostal Antón Martín

The room was great and better than expected. The only issue was with a problematic toilet flush, which we reported. Maintenance man came quickly to check it. While it wasn’t completely fixed, we were able to take the faceplate off and use / flush as normal. The woman in reception who checked us is was incredibly friendly and helpful. When we booked, breakfast was only available in their other hostal a short distance. This was fine as our friends were staying in that hostal. We don’t book breakfast but enquired about joining our friends and we were told this was fine, which it was for the first two mornings. On the third morning, another receptionist would not allow us to have breakfast with our friends and insisted that breakfast was to be taken in our hostal. Again, at the time of booking, breakfast was described as being available in the other hostal. The person was not being at all friendly or polite. It was not an issue of language differences, they were clearly rude. We were taken aback and paid for the breakfast in our hostal. Retrospectively we should have said not to bother and gone elsewhere. This did upset us but on our last morning had breakfast in a lovely little cafe close by. We would still recommend Aston Martin as a place to stay and the location was great. The other staff were all so friendly and our room was cleaned every day.

Hostal Anton Martin is in a very good location, plenty of places nearby for meals, tapas, breakfast, coffee. Our room was at the back, so nice and quiet and little noise from other guests. Good to have air con, which wasn't too noisy and great to have a fridge. Room felt a little cramped but plenty of storage space and a decent shower in the ensuite. Very good location for Prado,Retiro and Rein Sofia and also Atocha station. Also walkable for Plaza Mayor and Metro nearby.

Maravilhosa. Tudo limpo, café da manhã excelente. Próximo metrô e mercado.

Excelente opción a bajo costo. Está remodelado, las habitaciones son modernas y bonitas. El desayuno muy bueno para lo barato que es. Las llaves se recogen en otro hotel, pero nada grave. A 50 metros de la estación del metro

Incrível, tudo perfeito. O Hotel é ótimo. É um hotel interligado a outro, e tudo funciona perfeitamente. A localização é perfeita para quem quer conhecer os pontos turísticos de Madrid. Quartos bem aparelhados, com ar condicionado, frigobar, estação de trabalho, boa internet. Equipe bem eficiente. Apesar de vinculado ao Hostal Cervello, onde se faz o check in na rua paralela, o edifício do Astón Martin é seguro e autônomo, e o café da manhã, excelente, é servido no local.

Excelente ubicación llegas caminando a los lugares turísticos, muy cerca el metro, personal muy amable, aunque el check in es en otro lado, realmente está muy cerca del hostal. MUY MALA LA SEÑAL DEL INTERNET

The hostel is situation close to sightseeing and transportation which is a plus. Pick up of key and breakfast takes place at another hostal. There is a terrible smell in the lift and the hostal area looks old and worn out and do not reflect the prize of the room.

La habitación y el servicio muy bien solo deberían especificar que el check in se hace en otro lugar

Zimmer,Bett und Dusche waren tip top. Klimaanlage funktionierte nicht, Morgenessen war in anderem Hostal

THE GOOD: The staff are great, the room was very nice, walking distance to every mayor attraction. THE BAD: elevator was always smelly, the bathroom had always a bad smell like a sewer.

Chambre comfortable et propre. Le matériel est plutôt moderne . Le check-in s'est fait dans un autre hôtel un peu plus loin car la réception est en cours de renovation. Le petit déjeuner était simple mais bon. Le personnel était aussi plutôt gentil.

Tener cuidado de no olvidar nada e intentar recuperarlo, porque me ha tocado a mí, una recepcionista, que, cinco minutos después de mi salida, volvió y, explicándome por telefonillo (porque el hostal no tiene recepción; el acceso se hace con tarjeta), me dijo que no podía dejarme entrar en el establecimiento. Que esperara fuera hasta que una chica de la limpieza me trajera mis pertenencias a la calle… 😭 asi que te quedas como un.... hasta cuando te cansas...y abandonas. La verdad que siempre he encontrado un perdonal maravilloso alli, hasta antes de ayer, cuando encontré una joven que despues de no dejarme recuperar que olvide en habitacion, despues de ir 500 m hasta donde tienen la recepción, yo claro alterado de su actitut se levanta de su silla y ni mas ni menos me responde gritandome....para hablar encima de mi. Si tenia un mínimo de formación en domenio....cuando me ha visto alterado....su obligación era hablarme en un ton mucho mas bajo que el mio para intentar calmarme, dejarme desaogarme y al final darme una tarjeta de acceso ( asi cómo lo ha hecho al final) y todo se quedaba alli. Pero que una joven me grite y se comporta de esta manera porque yo le he pagado por un servicio???....Cuando yo pago ...voy a acceptar este trato? Nunca! Madrid esta lleno de establecimientos!

Está bien céntrico,tiene el metro allí mismo en la esquina súper bueno

Habitación muy cómoda moderna está ubicada en el centro de Madrid la recomiendo

A very decent place and within walking distance to some great restaurants

First of all I received text day of check in that check in was at different hotel a block away. I had to get my card from there. My actual hotel was inside a very old building that was partially renovated. The room itself was new and clean, however it was so small I could barely open 2 carry ons. The hallways with the doors to the rooms felt like a storage area and the block outside didn’t feel very safe. The front desk person however at the other hotel was very nice and helpful. However, I would not be able to stay there more than one day.
