Chambre propre, très bien située, à deux pas du métro sur les Ramblas. Le personnel est extrêmement accueillant, quelle que soit la personne rencontrée. Mention spéciale au jeune homme présent lors de notre arrivée, qui nous a indiqué un lieu très sympa à Montjuïc pour boire un verre et déguster des tapas avec vue sur Barcelone, et qui nous a fait découvrir le "tinto de verano."

Conveniently located steps from the Liseau Metro station this compact little hotel gave us everything we needed with 24hr front desk, daily housekeeping and friendly service, especially Claudio who shared great tips to make the most of our two days in Barca. Everything in the room was small, the beds, the sink and especially the combo bathroom/shower which was the smallest I've ever seen but somehow it worked. We were fortunate to have an inside room, although it did not have a view, it was quieter at night despite the hotel's busy location. I appreciated the welcome email outlining where they were and what to expect.

El barrio ramblas es central pero es muy peligroso , el hostal tiene escaleras y si llevas maleta no te lo ayudan a subir, el señor mayor es un poquito grosero. Pero el desayuno es muy rico y variado, la habitación estuvo cómoda y limpia. Y la ubicación queda cerca de los sitios turísticos aunque es peligrosa la zona.

Accueil très chaleureux, en français. Christian a pris le temps de nous expliquer comment nous rendre au Parc Guell en métro et nous a recommandé le bon ticket de métro pour économiser. Le petit déjeuner était charmant. La chambre très petite mais fonctionnelle. Lit confortable. Somme toute, c'est un charmant petit hostel.

Very nice little hostal in the heart of Barcelona. The staff were super friendly and helpful, especially Claudio. The breakfast was excellent and at a very reasonable price. The only downside was the size of the room. But it didn’t matter that much as you don’t really want to spend your time in a room when you’re in Barcelona

The Hostal itself is in a great location. You do have to climb several stairs before reaching the check-in area and before you get to the elevator that is also small. This is definitely for a one or two night stay…we did stay 4 nights. We chose this place because of its location and price…it was very expensive but it was cheaper than others. We had a clean room, but very tiny. The staff was helpful and friendly. We only had breakfast on the last day and the area is too small to linger.

The room was very small and the bathroom even smaller, divided into 2 behind the bed with the shower one end and the vaity and toilet the other end. It was very noisy every night. No bottle of water, no kettle and we were told we would have to pay 10 euro for hot water for a cuppa using our own teabag! Permission for hot water given the 2nd day. A rose was put on the bed for Sants day which was lovely.

Location is the main reason to book here. I would reserve again. However the walls are paper thin and sound carries. The room is small but good value. Be aware la Rombla is under construction but not working at night. There is no safe in the room. They did allow us to store our bags as we arrived early. We did not have breakfast as it was continental type. There are choices near the hotel. Staff was friendly. Don't expect a fancy hotel room. Do expect a great location to tour from. Good value.

Rooms are spotless and have everything you need. Great location. Breakfast is excellent value for money and rooms/breakfast room all well designed. Staff were excellent, particularly an Ivan who was so helpful and great humoured. We all said if we come back to Barcelona we’d book for here again! Fantastic!

The Hostal itself is in a great location. You do have to climb several stairs before reaching the check-in area and before you get to the elevator that is also small. This is definitely for a one or two night stay…we did stay 4 nights. We chose this place because of its location and price…it was very expensive but it was cheaper than others. We had a clean room, but very tiny. The staff was helpful and friendly. We only had breakfast on the last day and the area is too small to linger.

The room was very small and the bathroom even smaller, divided into 2 behind the bed with the shower one end and the vaity and toilet the other end. It was very noisy every night. No bottle of water, no kettle and we were told we would have to pay 10 euro for hot water for a cuppa using our own teabag! Permission for hot water given the 2nd day. A rose was put on the bed for Sants day which was lovely.

La regadera se tapó y se salió el agua al cuarto, una situación que nos causó incomodidad en la noche, pero el personal atendió rápido la situación. En general el hotel cumple con lo que ofrece y tiene una gran ubicación, a 1 minuto de una estación del metro

Location is the main reason to book here. I would reserve again. However the walls are paper thin and sound carries. The room is small but good value. Be aware la Rombla is under construction but not working at night. There is no safe in the room. They did allow us to store our bags as we arrived early. We did not have breakfast as it was continental type. There are choices near the hotel. Staff was friendly. Don't expect a fancy hotel room. Do expect a great location to tour from. Good value.

Rooms are spotless and have everything you need. Great location. Breakfast is excellent value for money and rooms/breakfast room all well designed. Staff were excellent, particularly an Ivan who was so helpful and great humoured. We all said if we come back to Barcelona we’d book for here again! Fantastic!
