Meliá La Palma

Das Hotel hat eine sehr schöne Lage direkt an einem Strand. Das Zimmer hat uns gut gefallen und das Frühstück und Abendbuffet war sehr lecker und es gab genug Auswahl. Uns hat der Aufenthalt sehr gut gefallen.

They provide everything you'd need for a long stay should you prepare some of your own meals. Not lots of people at this place so it's a somewhat more relaxed environment. What I did not like was a lack of air conditioning and also the staff never responded directly to any of my inquiries until many hours later, I'm not sure why but that's my main issue with not giving five stars.

am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the check-in process I recently experienced at one of your partner hotels. Upon arrival, the hotel staff insisted on seeing the payment receipts I had made to Expedia before allowing me to check in. The receptionist stated that he could not proceed with the check-in until I provided proof of payment directly from Expedia. I found this request to be highly inappropriate and unprofessional, as the hotel should have already received confirmation of the reservation and payment through Expedia’s system. Despite explaining this, the receptionist maintained that I needed to email my payment receipt to a specific address he provided. This created a stressful and unnecessary situation, especially considering that I was traveling internationally with limited internet access and had to struggle to retrieve the document. The entire process was extremely uncomfortable and made the check-in experience unpleasant. Unfortunately, this is not the first time I’ve encountered similar issues when booking through Expedia—particularly concerning hotel verification and discrepancies between the rooms I pay for and the ones I am assigned upon arrival. I strongly urge Expedia to take this matter seriously and address these recurring problems with your partner hotels to ensure that customers are not subjected to such frustrating experiences in the future.

The food was very delicious. It was a nice buffet with lots of food options. Greenery throughout hotel was nice touch. Night entertainment sounded good.

Our six-day stay at Meliá La Palma could not have been better. From the welcoming reception from the staff to every inch of the facilities, we enjoyed it very much. We opted to upgrade to "Level" status, and the perks that it provided were substantial and appreciated. Our room was on the top floor with a spectacular oceanfront view! Well worth the upgrade in our opinion.

Todo muy bien, desde la terraza de la habitación se veía el jardín, la piscina y el mar.

Chambre au calme avec une (très belle) vue mer et de magnifiques couchers de soleil. Le confort de celle-ci est appréciable en dehors d'une salle de bain pas très ergonomique. Sinon, restaurant très design avec une nourriture de bonne qualite et relativement variée. Le personnel est dans son ensemble accueillant et poli. Nous recommandons fortement cet établissement.

Es un gran hotel de la cadena Meliá situado en una de las zonas afectadas por la erupción del 2021. Pero a pesar de ello, la localidad se encuentra ya en proceso de renovación , rodeado de plataneros y unas vistas al mar espectaculares que se pueden disfrutar desde las habitaciones, la zona de la piscina, desde el comedor o la terraza. Ofrecen gran variedad de actividades durante el día y la noche tanto para niños como para adultos . Hay opción de desayunos y cenas muy buenos incluso atendiendo cualquier intolerancia. Los platos de las cenas son variados y muy ricos, y el personal siempre está atento de reponer y de que la comida esté caliente o recién hecha. Las habitaciones son amplias y con camas muy cómodas. Tuvimos un problema con el aire acondicionado y el personal de mantenimiento vino en 10min. Y en media hora nos cambiaron de habitación en las mismas condiciones. Además, al día siguiente nos dejaron un detalle y nos llamaron personalmente para saber cómo había ido todo y si estábamos bien con el cambio. Todo el personal ha sido muy amable y atento en todo momento. La localización es muy buena para descubrir la gran variedad de paisajes que ofrece la isla bonita. Sin duda, repetiríamos una nueva estancia.

Ha sido una gran experiencia. La limpieza, la amabilidad de todo el personal (Richi, Yoana, Víctor, etc), las instalaciones, la comida... Muy recomendable

Enjoyed our 3 night stay. Modern, clean comfortable room with fantastic views. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was good generally but grilled meats were chewy. Ample parking at the hotel but for a fee (10 euros/day). However, parking can be found along the road approaching the hotel. Area surrounding the hotel was quiet with few dining options.

It was nice sleeping with the sea nearby.

Flott stort hotell med fin inredning och möbler. Trevlig personal och god service. Vi hade bara frukost som var mycket god. Däremot var smårätterna vid poolen inget att rekommendera. Om man gillar stora/ flotta hotell är det perfekt val. Men vi kommer inte att återkomma eftersom mysfaktorn då försvinner.

Wunderschöne Lage, grandioser Blick auf den Atlantik. Level-Angebot ausgezeichnet. Einziger Minuspunkt der Kaffee zum Frühstück, geht gar nicht.

Sehr großes Objekt in exponierter Lage, ideal für den Winter. Zimmer (Meerblick Balkon) ausreichend groß jedoch ziemlich hellhörig. Frühstück ist standardisierte Massenabfertigung im Großraumrestaurant. Kaffeemaschinen teilweise kaputt, Warteschlangen an der Omelettstation, kreischende Kinder und Jagd nach Plätzen auf dem (zu kleinen) Außenbalkon; - in Summe kein Genuß. Abendesssen ebenfalls Buffet im Großraumrestaurant, - unverständlich, warum im Hotelrestaurant abends kein a la Carte angeboten wird. Parkplatz unmöglich zu ergattern, ab Mitte Dezember auch nicht mehr kostenfrei sondern 10 Euro pro Nacht (!). Als Basis für einen Wanderurlaub durchaus zu gebrauchen, wer Romantikurlaub sucht ist hier verkehrt.

Hotel sehr groß, daher etwas ungemütlich. Personal sehr nett. Frühstücksbuffet sehr üppig. Ort nach Vulkanausbruch noch nicht wieder belebt.
