La situation de l hôtel au bord de la mer est exceptionnelle. Nous avons réservé une suite avec une vue magnifique sur mer. Le petit déjeuner est très bien organisé malgré le nombre des clients, avec une grande diversité de produits de qualité. Très grande piscine familiale et une autre pour adulte au calme. Nombre de transats est suffisant pour en trouver des libres à toutes heures de la journée. Ensemble de personnel de l hôtel au petit soin. Plage privée (rocher) en face de l hôtel avec un accès facile et une eau très claire/belle. Un très belle hôtel à recommander vivement.

Excellent beachfront location with breathtaking sunrises (see photos uploaded). The room had superb noise insulation and stunning sea views. The pool areas were impeccably maintained, with one pool dedicated to adults only. Even the main pool was peaceful, never rowdy. The beach is rocky but the waters are crystal clear, with plenty of ladders for access — one extra wide ladder is particularly helpful for those with mobility issues or young children.
The beachfront restaurant was wonderful, with a great atmosphere and views. Breakfast offered a wide choice, again enjoyed with stunning vistas of boats coming and going.
The resort is about 20 minutes from Palma centre; taxis were easily arranged through the hotel and fairly priced. Check-out is strictly at noon, but the courtesy room provided for late flights was a huge bonus, allowing us to shower before heading to the airport.
Room furniture is functional rather than luxurious, but the location and facilities more than compensate. The hotel has a great vibe, suitable for families, couples, elderly guests, and solo travellers. Strongly recommend booking a high-level sea-view room for the full experience.
The team were also very helpful in arranging excursions, even securing a last-minute sunset catamaran cruise — truly excellent service.
Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. Overall, this resort offers excellent value, amazing views, and a relaxing yet vibrant atmosphere. We will definitely return.

I stayed at this hotel for a six day vacation with my five-year-old daughter .
From the time we were welcomed by Sergio and Desiree at check in until we checked out 6 days later, the experience was first class. These two really made our stay feel extra special.
The interior of the hotel itself is little dated and could probably do with a little bit of modernisation but functionality wise everything worked perfectly and the facilities is absolutely fantastic.
The hotel is located right on the water with its own little mini private beach/swimming area which was just a dream.
There are two pools with plenty of sun lounges and umbrellas and at no point did it feel extremely busy.
The breakfast buffet was amazing with plenty of variety. I think it would be hard to find somebody who would struggle to find something to eat..
I would definitely come back to this hotel.

Die Präsidentensuite besticht zwar mit einer traumhaften Aussicht, doch damit enden die positiven Eindrücke weitgehend. Sauberkeit und Reinigung sind auf einem inakzeptablen Niveau. Das Frühstück ist zwar gut, kann jedoch den insgesamt enttäuschenden Eindruck nicht ausgleichen. Die gesamte Hotelanlage ist stark in die Jahre gekommen, an vielen Stellen dringend renovierungsbedürftig. Preis und Leistung stehen in keinem Verhältnis – einzig die Lage ist ein Pluspunkt. Vom früheren RIU-Standard ist dieses Haus weit entfernt.

- limited parking - we had to park car offsite . We were put on a waitlist but never got onsite parking . At least offsite parking was free

This was probably a great hotel in its day, however having just returned we experienced the following issues: -
1. Our room key would constantly stop working (8 times in 3 days). We were initially told this was down to them being near our mobile phone, which was not the case. Only after I insisted that after the reception staff produced us a new set of keys (again) that they must now attempt to open our room door themselves with these new keys. Only then did they seem to take notice when they simply did not work again. Clearly the door lock mechanism was faulty. In general, the male reception staff were just very dismissive and bordering on rude!
2. The main pool has a nice setting by the sea, however at 9am the pool bins were still overflowing with the previous day’s rubbish, empty glasses and dirty towels everywhere together with broken dangerous deck boards. (no cleaning or maintenance).
The only exception was when we finally got to speak with the hotel manager (Veronica) did she accept our complaints and was understanding and dealt with them.

Passe stort hotell som ligger et lite steinkast fra sjøen. Praktisk beliggenhet i forhold til Palma og flyplassen.
Tilsynelatende ingen chartergjester, så kundene kommer fra alle verdens hjørner (ingen klar overvekt fra noe land).
Rommene er helt OK. Litt billig kvalitet på møbler og inventar. Sengene kunne med fordel vært oppgradert. Men alt i alt fungerer det helt fint. Spesielt at man har bad rett innenfor inngangsdøren til rommet, men det gjør kanskje at man får bedre utnyttelse av arealet.
Nydelig utsikt til det klare vannet og horisonten mot Palma by. Bassengområdet er rent og ryddig. Ikke super-luksus men helt ok. Ikke noe problem å skaffe solsenger.
Den største utfordringen med hotellet er mangelen på taxier i området. En av grunnene til at vi booker dette hotellet var at vi ville inn til Palma flere ganger for å få litt variasjon og å oppleve litt mer enn bading. Da det ikke var mulig å skaffe taxi/über/bolt etc. var buss det eneste alternativet. Og selv om det ikke var noe problem å finne holdeplasser etc. så var disse bussene overfylte, varme, og trege. Taximangel er selvsagt ikke hotellets skyld, men man kunne kanskje ha satt opp en sjåførtjeneste eller en ekspress shuttlebuss til Palma et par ganger pr dag.

Palace Bonanza Playa Resort & SPA is a wonderful property. The setting is pristine, with direct access to the Mediterranean. The buffet breakfast had many great choices for our family.
The two property concerns we had: 1. The dinner buffet, and 2. The bathroom set up. Put simply, the dinner buffet was disappointing and over-priced. That said, there are restaurants in walking distance, and the poolside restaurant was excellent (especially on grill day!).
The bathroom design is bizarre. It is encased in clear glass, with only blinds for privacy (the toilet area was frosted, but one can see directly between the glass doors). If you are traveling with a significant other, this will not be a big deal. But, with a family of four, our two kids shared a queen pullout bed and were positioned directly across from the bathroom. Anyone coming out of the shower was in their view. It's a really weird set-up.

The Pool and Sea areas were really good, breakfast was average, and it was a shame that there were no activities for adults or kids over 8. The mini club was really for very young kids. Overall, ok but expected more the price

La situation de l hôtel au bord de la mer est exceptionnelle. Nous avons réservé une suite avec une vue magnifique sur mer. Le petit déjeuner est très bien organisé malgré le nombre des clients, avec une grande diversité de produits de qualité. Très grande piscine familiale et une autre pour adulte au calme. Nombre de transats est suffisant pour en trouver des libres à toutes heures de la journée. Ensemble de personnel de l hôtel au petit soin. Plage privée (rocher) en face de l hôtel avec un accès facile et une eau très claire/belle. Un très belle hôtel à recommander vivement.

Excellent beachfront location with breathtaking sunrises (see photos uploaded). The room had superb noise insulation and stunning sea views. The pool areas were impeccably maintained, with one pool dedicated to adults only. Even the main pool was peaceful, never rowdy. The beach is rocky but the waters are crystal clear, with plenty of ladders for access — one extra wide ladder is particularly helpful for those with mobility issues or young children.
The beachfront restaurant was wonderful, with a great atmosphere and views. Breakfast offered a wide choice, again enjoyed with stunning vistas of boats coming and going.
The resort is about 20 minutes from Palma centre; taxis were easily arranged through the hotel and fairly priced. Check-out is strictly at noon, but the courtesy room provided for late flights was a huge bonus, allowing us to shower before heading to the airport.
Room furniture is functional rather than luxurious, but the location and facilities more than compensate. The hotel has a great vibe, suitable for families, couples, elderly guests, and solo travellers. Strongly recommend booking a high-level sea-view room for the full experience.
The team were also very helpful in arranging excursions, even securing a last-minute sunset catamaran cruise — truly excellent service.
Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. Overall, this resort offers excellent value, amazing views, and a relaxing yet vibrant atmosphere. We will definitely return.

I stayed at this hotel for a six day vacation with my five-year-old daughter .
From the time we were welcomed by Sergio and Desiree at check in until we checked out 6 days later, the experience was first class. These two really made our stay feel extra special.
The interior of the hotel itself is little dated and could probably do with a little bit of modernisation but functionality wise everything worked perfectly and the facilities is absolutely fantastic.
The hotel is located right on the water with its own little mini private beach/swimming area which was just a dream.
There are two pools with plenty of sun lounges and umbrellas and at no point did it feel extremely busy.
The breakfast buffet was amazing with plenty of variety. I think it would be hard to find somebody who would struggle to find something to eat..
I would definitely come back to this hotel.

Die Präsidentensuite besticht zwar mit einer traumhaften Aussicht, doch damit enden die positiven Eindrücke weitgehend. Sauberkeit und Reinigung sind auf einem inakzeptablen Niveau. Das Frühstück ist zwar gut, kann jedoch den insgesamt enttäuschenden Eindruck nicht ausgleichen. Die gesamte Hotelanlage ist stark in die Jahre gekommen, an vielen Stellen dringend renovierungsbedürftig. Preis und Leistung stehen in keinem Verhältnis – einzig die Lage ist ein Pluspunkt. Vom früheren RIU-Standard ist dieses Haus weit entfernt.

- staff very friendly and helpful
- evening show was a nice surprise - loved the band that sang Bruno Mars songs ❤️

- internet access - not so great in parts of hotel. Had to go to balcony to get service .
- limited parking - we had to park car offsite . We were put on a waitlist but never got onsite parking . At least offsite parking was free

This was probably a great hotel in its day, however having just returned we experienced the following issues: -
1. Our room key would constantly stop working (8 times in 3 days). We were initially told this was down to them being near our mobile phone, which was not the case. Only after I insisted that after the reception staff produced us a new set of keys (again) that they must now attempt to open our room door themselves with these new keys. Only then did they seem to take notice when they simply did not work again. Clearly the door lock mechanism was faulty. In general, the male reception staff were just very dismissive and bordering on rude!
2. The main pool has a nice setting by the sea, however at 9am the pool bins were still overflowing with the previous day’s rubbish, empty glasses and dirty towels everywhere together with broken dangerous deck boards. (no cleaning or maintenance).
The only exception was when we finally got to speak with the hotel manager (Veronica) did she accept our complaints and was understanding and dealt with them.

Passe stort hotell som ligger et lite steinkast fra sjøen. Praktisk beliggenhet i forhold til Palma og flyplassen.
Tilsynelatende ingen chartergjester, så kundene kommer fra alle verdens hjørner (ingen klar overvekt fra noe land).
Rommene er helt OK. Litt billig kvalitet på møbler og inventar. Sengene kunne med fordel vært oppgradert. Men alt i alt fungerer det helt fint. Spesielt at man har bad rett innenfor inngangsdøren til rommet, men det gjør kanskje at man får bedre utnyttelse av arealet.
Nydelig utsikt til det klare vannet og horisonten mot Palma by. Bassengområdet er rent og ryddig. Ikke super-luksus men helt ok. Ikke noe problem å skaffe solsenger.
Den største utfordringen med hotellet er mangelen på taxier i området. En av grunnene til at vi booker dette hotellet var at vi ville inn til Palma flere ganger for å få litt variasjon og å oppleve litt mer enn bading. Da det ikke var mulig å skaffe taxi/über/bolt etc. var buss det eneste alternativet. Og selv om det ikke var noe problem å finne holdeplasser etc. så var disse bussene overfylte, varme, og trege. Taximangel er selvsagt ikke hotellets skyld, men man kunne kanskje ha satt opp en sjåførtjeneste eller en ekspress shuttlebuss til Palma et par ganger pr dag.

Palace Bonanza Playa Resort & SPA is a wonderful property. The setting is pristine, with direct access to the Mediterranean. The buffet breakfast had many great choices for our family.
The two property concerns we had: 1. The dinner buffet, and 2. The bathroom set up. Put simply, the dinner buffet was disappointing and over-priced. That said, there are restaurants in walking distance, and the poolside restaurant was excellent (especially on grill day!).
The bathroom design is bizarre. It is encased in clear glass, with only blinds for privacy (the toilet area was frosted, but one can see directly between the glass doors). If you are traveling with a significant other, this will not be a big deal. But, with a family of four, our two kids shared a queen pullout bed and were positioned directly across from the bathroom. Anyone coming out of the shower was in their view. It's a really weird set-up.
We liked the hotel and our stay a lot. If we stayed again, we would get two rooms!
