A great property at a fair price. Bauhaus in spain.

Ultra modern hotel with friendly/helpful staff. We only stayed one night on our Santiago pilgrimage but were happy with this pick. AC was awesome especially with the heat wave. The room had some fun modern touches though the weird door thing in the bathtub was inconvenient and difficult to use. We didn't have time to dine at the facility but there were a few restaurants by the monastery that were good.

The hotel has a minimalistic feel and was cool upon arrival, however my room was odd. The bathroom and entrance was a disgusting spotted, dirty appearing concrete floor. It threw me off, i did not book a disabled room, but the bathroom was definitely for such. If not fot the concrete part, the room was nice, had a patio off the room. The location is quiet and was a beautiful ride in. No restaurant on peppery. So i had to eat at a corner bat that was meh. Staff was warm and welcoming and breakfast was plentiful.

This property deceptively ultra modern and excellent design, but it is essentially room only.. There is No in house option for food or bar .other than breakfast which starts at 8.00am .It is pilgrim based ( camino) with cafe restaurants down the hill ..

We were walking the spiritual variant of the Camino and decided to splurge on a 2-night stay here. We're so glad we did! Breakfast was plentiful and varied, and the nearby restaurants were good for lunch and dinner. The room was very comfortable and the pool refreshing!

A pleasant surprise after the long climb from Combarro. super value in September. One of the nicest accommodations that we stayed at on our camino. Santiago was helpful and made our one night memorable.

Very pleasant staff . Good breakfast . Great views.Disappointed no dining option in evening . Posada has seen better days . Needs a lot of weeding around the building . Really disliked the rough concrete floor in bathroom .

Contemporary high-end hotel near Monastery. Lovely breakfast. Large private room with first-rate bathroom. No meals aside from breakfast buffet.

Tanto la habitacion que nos toco como las zonas comunes estaban bastante sucias, lo peor de todo es que estabamos al lado de la puerta de acceso del parking y todo el mundo tiene que entrar por ahi y la puerta al cerrar hacia un ruido escandaloso lo que evito poder dormir los dos dias que estuvimos. El desayunp muy bien de calidad y con bastante variedad. Los empleados muy amables, pero se nota falta de personal ya que el recepcionista era el mismo que atendia los desayunos , espero que no le tocara tambien hacer habitaciones aunque eso explicaria la falta de limpieza. Demasiado caro para lo que es, ya que por la falta de limpieza y el ruido de la puerta por otra parte muy facil de subsanar, poniendo un retenedor en vez de pedir con un cartel que se cierre con cuidado, hace que no sea un 4 estrellas ni de lejos

Unique building in a beautiful setting. You need a car to get here as it’s quite far out from any major towns. The hotel has ample parking. Each room has a small terrace from which to enjoy the views and hotel has an outdoor pool. The rooms and bathrooms are wheelchair accessible. The breakfast is continental style and very good. Lots of fruit, meats and cheeses. Good bread and pastries. Staff were extremely helpful but got impression they were overwhelmed. The hotel was full when I stayed.

This is an amazing futuristic-type hotel that blends well with the surrounding area. It is a bit of devil to find but once there, the area is very pretty with plenty of walks around. There is a distinct lack of staff, which was ok, but when we were there, there was no hot water (for which they apologised - a technical fault apparently). Parking was easy. Breakfast was adequate. Room could have been a bit cleaner. None of this put us off and we would stay again.

It was a stop for our "camino portugues". Pousada Armenteira is located in a paradisiacal landscape, and offers everything you need. The staff was very helpful and we enjoyed our stay.
