It's a really lovely place to stay would recommend to anybody great views from your apartment overlooking town and La Gomera Island as well as the Los Gigantes cliffs the rooms are fabulous

We had a fantastic stay at the Royal Sun Resort and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tenerife. The staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly and helpful throughout our visit, which really made a difference to our experience. Our apartment was lovely and perfect for the four of us (two couples). The air conditioning was excellent, and the bathroom was impressively huge and spacious. The pool area was well maintained and provided a lovely spot to relax. A special mention must go to the breakfast buffet - it was incredible and we'd highly recommend adding this to your stay. We got into a great routine of eating breakfast at the hotel each morning, having lunch out while exploring, then cooking in the apartment each evening (we used the room service menu one evening, which was great value and delicious). The location proved to be a great base for exploring the island with a hire car, and the local area itself was fantastic. The only downside was that the kitchen felt quite dated with some very old appliances. We encountered a leaky kettle and a few items that were difficult to use or broken, but we managed to work around these issues. Overall, we had a wonderful time. The combination of excellent staff, comfortable accommodation, fantastic breakfast, and great location made for a memorable stay.

Another fabulous, relaxing time at Royal Sun. The view from the balcony overlooking the sea, la Gomera and the amazing Los Gigantes is amazing on every level. The staff, as usual, so friendly and helpful. Thank you. 👏👏

Staff were very helpful and approachable. The hotel was a bit dated but kept clean and tidy. It’s a little bit isolated from the shops and tucked away but the views are great.

Had at great stay at the royal sun. Our apartment was beautiful and we had everything we could need. We had a three bed on the top floor. The facilities in the room were superb, especially the jacuzzi. The bathrobe and slippers were a nice touch too. Beds were very comfortable. Whole apartment was spotless and great quality towels. The views were to die for at all times of the day. We also found the area very peaceful. Great to have our own area to chill in water and lounge on the sunbeds on the huge balcony. TV in main bed room too that has access to the balcony. All staff we met were great especially the blonde receptionist we met at check in. We didn't use housekeeping as we only stayed 5 nights and we tidy as we go but we met the ladies to change towels and get a few coffees and they were lovely also. Shop was really handy, you wouldn't be stuck for anything and nice staff here too. Didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment on food or drink. The pool was a nice temperature and not too busy on our stay so my daughter had plenty fun here with her snorkel set. Loads of sun loungers and umbrellas on a beautiful deck. Sea views and a bar with ice-cream and snacks also. We did avail of a late check out and we were accommodated till 1pm for an extra €20 which we were delighted with. Overall this is a great resort with everything you could need. The apartment was amazing for the money we paid so we felt it was good value for our group of 6. I would definitely return.

Location and view are amazing! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Didn’t like the fact that we had to call everyday to have our towels changed. Bed quality was very poor to me did not sleep comfortably because of that…

An excellent hotel with amazing views. The pool was a little too busy for my liking though.

Reception staff where some of the best I have ever experienced and would happily return.

The hotel itself is fine. The staff are all very friendly and nice. Only had breakfast but it was very good value for €12. A couple of issues - there is no lift to the 3 bed apartments on the 6th floor, only to the 5th then you have to climb some steps, so be aware if you have mobility issues. And no one offered to help with luggage. The room cleaning isn’t the greatest, they are nice but miss stuff and don’t refill shower gel ets. And the en suite shower leaked a lot. If the hotel was somewhere else I’d probably go back but I’ll never be back to Los Gigantes, go there to see the cliffs, but that’s it, it is a terrible town, absolutely no redeeming qualities.

Overall good. People (and food) are perhaps the highlights.

Appartement très bien équipé, et mobilier neuf. Une vue imprenable sur les falaises et le port. Personnel agréable et très disponible.

The views are breathtaking and the hotel is so clean. The staff are incredible. This is our second time here and won't be our last already want to book again!

Positives Luxury apartments are nice, clean & very spacious Staff are polite and accommodating Views are amazing, great view of sunset Negatives Food really isn’t good. We ended up eating out a lot despite having half board Takes 30-40 minutes to get a cocktail as only ever one person on the bar Entertainment isn’t good. Bar area is very dated & run down Overall aesthetic isn’t very nice - needs a revamp Pool area was closed for 5 days and we were not told before arriving (we were able to access another pool at a different hotel) So much construction going on next to hotel which won’t be done for years. Always noise, rooms are not sound proof - can hear everything from above and neighbours
