Flomi Hotel

If you're coming from a first world country, keep in mind that the resources in Morogoro are limited, and these hotels have to do the best they can with them. The power will cut out. They may lose hot water. The internet might drop. However, the people at this hotel and the general manager really care about giving guests a great experience and do a great job. The staff is enthusiastic and helpful. The rooms, sheets, towels, are all clean. The food is very good, and they have a good variety of African and international food. The views of Mt Morogoro are fantastic. While I haven't been to all the business hotels in Morogoro, I've seen most, and it's an open secret that this is by far the best. There is not too much in the area for tourists, but the people in the area are nice and helpful. A few times I was trying to communicate with a vender and a passerby would stop and help translate.

This hotel is more of a business person's hotel, rather than a tourist hotel. But it was fine for one night. The restaurant gave us a long menu and then told us only two options were available. But the food that we had was good, and the portions were large.
