103 - Bed and Brews

The hotel sits on the upper floors above a cute coffee and craft beer shop that serves a nice breakfast. One of the café staff members helped us check in. Each room seems to have a unique layout. My room had a bed in the loft area and a fold-out couch, and was clean and comfortable for two friends. The room was nicely decorated and there was a balcony overlooking the street below. It's in a walkable location to the main train station and several wats. Each room has its own bathroom, but it's outside the room and you need a key to access it. It's not your typical hotel with a 24-hour desk and brochures, but the building's design is interesting and makes for a unique stay.

We stayed here for 9 nights. It is located 5 minutes walk from Hua Lamphong Station and a few minutes from China town so could not be better situated. We had booked breakfast every day and were treated to a different Thai meal each morning which was filling and very tasty so that we needed little else to eat each day until the evening. Our room was spacious, scrupulously clean and was equipped with a fridge so that the complimentary bottled water could be kept cold. The best feature of all was the staff, who were friendly and helpful and fror whom nothing seemed to be too much trouble.

It’s a cute little hotel located in Chinatown. Deco is special and lovely. I particularly like the deplex design of the room. To my surprise, the washroom is outside the room but it’s locked so we are not sharing with anyone else. I generally like the room and think it’s worth the money. The only thing I need to complain is that it’s very hot in bed even if you turn on the AC with the fan (coz it’s duplex and the AC won’t reach the bed). I can’t really sleep comfortably unfortunately.
