Beautiful hotel - the grounds are gorgeous and our room was fantastic. It felt like we were in the jungle. The owner and the staff were really friendly and very helpful. Beakfast was lovely. We wish we had found it from the beginning of our trip to Chiang Mai.

Clean room , beautiful grounds, friendly host

Ontzettend leuk hotel, middel in een prachtige bosrijke omgeving. Heerlijk rustig. Elke kamer is zijn eigen huisje op palen waaronder je ontbijt. Fantastische eigenaar. Echt top. Dagelijk heerlijke bbq. Wel beetje ver van centrum.

What an amazing experience!! Birds chirping in the morning and a beautiful fern forest setting to wake up to… the most wonderful experience is the staff who are kind, gentle, helpful and goes beyond their way to assist guests. Highly recommended.

Gracius host, delicious breakfast, clean rooms and an amazing environment! Absolutely stunning. 10/10 will stay again if I travel to Chiang Mai.

Fern Paradise is een hele bijzondere plek, die het zeker waard is er een paar nachten te logeren. Halverwege de vorige eeuw door de familie bedacht en gebouwd, en nog altijd in hun beheer. Het is wat gedateerd maar charmant. Met de historie in je achterhoofd zijn deze boomhutten in een super groene omgeving nóg leuker. Die historie kan je ontdekken onder de boomhutten, waar allerlei plekjes zijn waar je kunt zitten, lezen, chillen, etc. Op een van die plekken is ook het Fern Paradise museum aangelegd met allerlei oude spulletjes die ooit dienst deden in het resort. Ook zijn er foto’s te vinden van de aanleg van het park. Terwijl het resort gelegen is aan een ongezellige doorgaande weg, ben je dat zo’n beetje meteen vergeten als je het terrein op gaat. Het is onbeschrijfelijk mooi en groen, en verrassend rustig naast die drukke weg. Wij hebben geen last gehad van het verkeer (maar luide vogels kunnen wel wat slaap kosten). Hoewel het een eind buiten Chiang Mai ligt (ongeveer 25 min naar de oude stad), kom je er gemakkelijk en goedkoop met Bolt of Grab taxi’s. Eigenaar Om is bescheiden en vriendelijk, communiceert vooral via de app. Geeft graag tips voor bijvoorbeeld een leuk restaurant. Oké, in de oude stad in veel meer leuke restaurantjes te vinden en kan je elk moment ergens neer ploffen, maar het heeft ook zijn charme om in een omgeving te zijn die niet ingericht is op toerisme. Wij aten leuk bij Lucky’s, vlakbij Fern Paradise naar chique supermarkt Lotus’s.

Beautiful property - feels like you’re in the jungle! Lovely staff and a great, unique experience overall. Highly recommend if you want to stay somewhere that escapes the city.

Enjoyed my stay and would do again. Helpful and friendly staff.. "Barns" are cool as they have a local feel.. Like staying in a teak tree house.. Breakfast(traditional) was great and outside under the bungalow. About 15 to 20min from the old city..by Grab. Also. Its great to support a local family. A five minute walk from a 24hr store..and at a nice local restaurant that had grest food and friendly staff.

나무위에 집. 주변에 정말 양치식물을 제대로 가꿔 놓으심.양치식물원도 볼만하고 독특한 경험. 다만 올드시티랑 멀고 (우리는 렌트카로 이동함)호텔 자체가 핸드메이드 라서 멋있고 가구도 멋지지만 샤워시설이 약간 노후짐. 주변에 별로 아무것도없음 우리는 야시장 열리는 날(금)에 우연히 묵게되어서 걸어서 야시장구경하고 먹을거리사와서 저녁으로 먹음^^ 조식은 강을 보면서 먹는데 성의있게 나오고 맛있음. 1월에 갔었는데 밤에 약간 추운데 우린 겨울옷이 많으니 큰 문제 없었음 . 결론은 이색적인 재밌는 호텔

Owner mr om is a really nice guy. He took very good care and quick response to our needs. He did a very great job arranging car pick up and car renting for us. Hotel is a bit far from old town, but we did enjoy the silence and nature within resort.

We were looking forward to this hotel...however was very disappointed upon inspecting our room. First off, having tree house for a hotel seems like a great ideal. But it needs to be done right! Just entering the room was hazardous if your over 5'5", overall room was clean and nice and the view is great. But the room was cold at night because the walls are glass shutters and can not be completely closed. Now the bathroom, I understand the rustic nature of the tree house but showers was horrible. No water pressure and its made of pre fabricated plastic molding with old and ripped up plastic shower curtains which doesn't cover the shower. The location isn't great but we knew this, however the price of taxi from Old Chiang Mai to the hotel is 300-800 BHT, and if it's busy they won't even take you to Fern Paradise.

Where to start for this AMAZING place..we arrived in Chiang Mai and when we rocked up to Fern Paradise instantly forgot the hustle and headache of dirty Bangkok. Visiting in the low season, mid/Late Aug we found it completely green and refreshing..everything was beyond lush."Om" our host was just out of this world,he was everywhere..EVERYWHERE ALL THE TIME.To say that he didn't go above and beyond would be an understatement.Om and his staff/family were so accommodating with all our request,he would advise us on where to go,what to see and even called the Patara Elephant Camp for us..coming home to Fern Paradise was just that.."home".The beautifully simple treehouse cabins were unreal..it all was just beautiful,so much so we stayed an extra night..would I recommend..ABSOLUTELY,if you want a place up stay in Chiang Mai without the hassle of Chiang Mai..this IS THE PLACE!! 地点太偏，适合自驾。

街中の通りから一歩入っただけの立地ですがシダの緑に囲まれたロマンチックでこじんまりとしたホテルです。サービスも良い。問題点は立地。山の中でもなく、町の中心地でもない為、観光には不便です。また、リゾートホテルでもない為、ホテルにこもるのも難しいですね。観光地の近くにあればもっと流行るのでしょうに。

My husband and I enjoyed our stay a lot. The hotel is a bit far from the city center but we didn't have any troubles with that as we didn't plan to go out anyway. There are a couple of bicycles free to use and bike around the resort, and some fitness equipments as well although they are a bit old. Also some DVDs and books to keep you entertained. This resort is a family-run and the staff is very helpful and friendly.
