Lamai Inn 99 Bungalows

This is a wonderful location in every respect.

My third stay at Lamai Inn! Had a deluxe room this trip, very clean, right on the beach and two minutes from lamai street and restaurants, very friendly staff and three great restaurants/bars on the doorstep! Rooms are basic but great AC, internet and a fridge, don’t need anything else! Will definitely return as Koh Samui is amazing!!

Struttura con alcune camere fronte mare ed altre no,ma comunque a 30 metri dal mare. Zona molto silenziosa a 2 passi da ristoranti e negozi vari. A 25 minuti dall aeroporto.

This is my go to hotel to stay at when visiting. The staff is very kind and the rooms are nothing impressive but are nice and the AC works great. They have a very nice little pool and the beach access is very convenient.

Fint opphold på dette bungalow-komplekset. Kunne med fordel tilbudt frokost. Midt på den vakre Lamai stranden, og kort vei å gå opp til sentrumsgaten. Anbefales for de som ønsker et rimelig og rolig sted å feriere. Bassenget var fint og rent, og det var ingen trengsel om solsengene.

Stop looking now and book the Deluxe Room, Seaview at this property and you will be getting an amazing deal! The pictures on Expedia don’t do it justice. You’re literally steps away from the sand and can see the ocean from your bed. Each one of these rooms also has a couple of deck chairs and a couple of private loungers. The room itself is nothing fancy, but it’s clean and big and comfortable. They have a restaurant, bar and massage shack right at the beach as well. The staff is amazing! They keep the beach clean, which is a struggle in that area. Also, housekeeping is super trustworthy. I left some money out accidentally and they didn’t touch it. Wi-Fi was excellent, Pool is OK, but you won’t even use it if you’re in the Seaview rooms. It’s back across the road with the rest of the rooms. You can walk to everything fun in town in just a few minutes, but it’s far enough to miss all of the noise. You will hear some music from the beach club next-door, but it’s actually kind of nice. I would stay here again in a heartbeat, but only in the Seaview rooms! Pro tip: room number 58 seems like the best one with the best view and best lounger positioning. Call and beg for it after you reserve. If you can score that one, you win Lamai! My room might “technically” be the “worst”. Do I sound sad? They are all great. It’s about a 35 minute taxi ride from the airport and will run you 600 baht. They don’t have a hotel shuttle service.

Great position almost right on the beach… Lamai has a fabulous beach so it was wonderful to be so close. The rooms are a little tired and well used (understandably) but for the location and price I would stay again.

The hotel is right on the beach and was in an ideal location, close to many eating establishments. The room was clean and comfortable with great a/c. The place is a little overpriced but my only issue with it is that the wi-fi was slow and sometimes frozen up when too many people are using it.

Very basic room with hard beds

Alcune camere direttamente sulla spiaggia con vista mare. Altrimenti a pochi metri dalla sabbia. Bar ristorante per servirti a colazione e pranzo, con annessi poffed per sdraiarti sotto ombrelloni o palme. Massaggi su spiaggia a prezzi nella norma, giochi acquatici vicini leggermente alti. Sicura, silenziosa e ben collegata, a poche centinaia di metri dalla via principale Lamai Street. Lavanderie private vicinissime ed economiche.

Right on the beach, easy walk to the main Lamai road, great beach bars/restaurants (bamboo, red elephant and coconut) within a few metres. Room was basic but clean, comfortable bed, decent fridge and AC. Staff were lovely. Had three great weeks here exploring Koh Samui, would use again, hopefully soon !!

The staff were always happy to help with any inquiries we had and offered $ saving options for our sight seeing adventures. Very happy with everything! ☺️

This was the second time we stayed at the Lamaii Inn 99 Bungalows. And like the first time it was a real pleasure to stay there. The entire complex is well maintained and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The Lamaii Inn is a wonderful place to spend a lovely and relaxing holiday.
