Excellent value. Location was perfect, room was always clean and comfortable (albeit without window) and the staff were very obliging. Only negative was that our room doorlock didn't work properly and the door could actually be opened with little force. Otherwise, definitely book again

Literally my favourite hostel I have ever stayed at. Yes, the rooms are small and the walls are thin - it's a Thai building, what would you expect? But it's immaculately clean, the beds are super comfortable, and the owner and staff are extremely friendly and helpful. It's also super duper cute! Stained glass windows and brightly coloured pillows. It's easy walking distance to several places in old town Chiang Mai including the Sunday evening market, close to delicious (and cheap!) food and coffee, and close to convenience stores. It's not directly on the main street so it's quiet - but still easily accessible. Would give Lanna Hostel 6 stars if I could. Love it!

Everything was wonderful. The owner was so helpful and friendly. The property was exceptionally clean. My private, economy room with private bath was perfect for me. The location was good....in the northeast corner of the old city with restaurants, coffee shops, bars, ATMs, laundries, cabs and tuk-tuks. It was quiet. When I return to Chiang Mai I will stay again at the Lanna Hostel.

Excellent value. Location was perfect, room was always clean and comfortable (albeit without window) and the staff were very obliging. Only negative was that our room doorlock didn't work properly and the door could actually be opened with little force. Otherwise, definitely book again

Literally my favourite hostel I have ever stayed at. Yes, the rooms are small and the walls are thin - it's a Thai building, what would you expect? But it's immaculately clean, the beds are super comfortable, and the owner and staff are extremely friendly and helpful. It's also super duper cute! Stained glass windows and brightly coloured pillows. It's easy walking distance to several places in old town Chiang Mai including the Sunday evening market, close to delicious (and cheap!) food and coffee, and close to convenience stores. It's not directly on the main street so it's quiet - but still easily accessible. Would give Lanna Hostel 6 stars if I could. Love it!

I stayed for two nights at mixed dorm bunk bed. I had somewhat good experience except two things: their free coffee taste terrible and I booked my van to Pai for Baht 200 from the lady at the counter. I asked her if the van has an AC. Not sure if she understood but when the van showed up, it’s open van with parallel seatings - that too with dust all over. I sat down but after a few mins ride, realized that I cannot go on this van or something looking like van. My advice is not to book van or anything from the hostel.

古いタイ式の民家を改装した建物で、ホステル内は全て裸足で、気になる方はスリッパ必須でしょう。盆地で朝晩は涼しいチェンマイと思い、エアコン無しにしたのが大間違い。３，４月は真夏でチェンマイも３７℃まで気温があがり朝晩もさほど気温が下がらず、特に４階は熱がこもり、ファンルームは窓はあっても、廊下側にあるだけのインサイドルームの為、外気が入りにくくかなり寝苦しい夜でした。恐らくこの季節以外なら問題ないと思います。室内そのものは綺麗に維持されており写真通り。３階にあるシャワー、トイレも非常に良く掃除されているので清潔でした。 ２階に小さなラウンジがあり共同冷蔵庫と無料のコーヒーがあり ここで朝食を取ることになりますが、テーブルは一つだけなので 二人がやっと。混雑する時期は外で朝食を取るべきでしょう。 ただ初チェンマイに良かったのは、有名なナイトバザールがある地区とは違い、このオールドシティは本当に地元の生活と寺院と遺跡と、レストランカフェが混在しており、高い建物が殆どないので、バンコク等では味わえない、特にこの辺りの店は殆どエアコン無しで、まるで昭和のような街を体験出来ました。 コンビニや24Hのミニスーパー（TESCO)も徒歩５，６分の位置にあり そこに空港からのバスも泊まるので、初チェンマイでも効率よく観光が出来ました。 近くには外国人向けのBarや、マッサージ店、こ洒落たレストランが多く食事にも困りませんし、近くの運河沿いを朝散歩するのも気持ちよく、ホステルと言っても備品もしっかりしており、まるで下宿しているような、地元体験が出来て大きなホテルに無い魅力があり、また訪れてみたいなと思えるホステルです。

Great position. Walk distance to everything but out enough to sleep well. Room are very little but clean. If you are in a dorm, bathroom are 1 floor down. Lady owner very very nice and helpful!

호텔스닷컴 지도 틀려요. 전혀 다른 RENA hostel 로 나와있어서 캐리어 끌고 찾느라 엄청 헤매고 다녔어요. 실내는 나름 깨끗하게 꾸며놨는데.. 워낙 호스텔 건물이 낡고 위치가 안좋아서.. 구석에 처박힌듯한 느낌 ㅜㅜ 엘리베이터 없어서 짐들고 좁은 계단으로 방에 오르내리기 진짜 힘들어요. 3층 트윈룸이었는데.. 딱 1만원대에 맞을듯한 환경!! 1박 예약한거라 저희는 그냥 이곳 포기하고 위치좋은 호텔로 옮겼네요. 한블록 앞 호스텔들은 골목골목 예뻐서 지낼만할것 같은데 여긴 너무 외지고 낡아서 추천하고 싶진 않아요. 호스텔 예약하실거면 한두블럭 앞동네로 하세요~^^

Great location and very very clean ... But just keep in mind there won't be a ton of space. The bed was great, the owner was helpful. The walls are thin so if you have loud neighbors that can be annoying, but we only had one night with a problem. We spent 2 nights in the queen balcony room and one night in the full room. The full room has no windows and is smaller, so for two people we preferred the queen room for the breeze and the little extra space. It's a low cost option in a great location, so you really can't complain about the location of space for the price!

I stayed a week here while I was in Chiang Mai. I had an awesome stay! Staff was very friendly and cleaned the room each day. I had a shower in my room which was nice after a day of sightseeing. There is no laundry here but lots of places to do laundry just outside. This hostel is inside the walls in the Old Town. Lots of temples within walking distance. Everything was nice and clean. I would recommend and would stay here again!

Can't say enough great things about this Hostel. My first impression was when I arrived early and the owner seen that I was tired and allowed me to check in early. She was also very helpful with providing maps of the city and helping book any day trips. There were no shoes allowed in the building which explained the immaculate condition of the entire hostel. I greatly enjoyed my stay there and would highly recommend Lanna Hostel!

I stayed here for 4 nights and every single day was fantastic. My room had a balcony, it was on the top floor, felt spacious and comfortable. It was sparkling clean everywhere, shower was nice and hot, strong wifi, comfotable bed, whole hostel was very quiet. Staff was amazing! I cannot say enough how nice the host was. She was always ready to help me with any questions or issues that I had, including booking taxis and pointing me in the right directions. Every staff was extremely friendly. The location is in a quiet street in the northeast corner of the old city, really walkable to all major spots. All smiles. Highly recommended!

古いタイ式の民家を改装した建物で、ホステル内は全て裸足で、気になる方はスリッパ必須でしょう。盆地で朝晩は涼しいチェンマイと思い、エアコン無しにしたのが大間違い。３，４月は真夏でチェンマイも３７℃まで気温があがり朝晩もさほど気温が下がらず、特に４階は熱がこもり、ファンルームは窓はあっても、廊下側にあるだけのインサイドルームの為、外気が入りにくくかなり寝苦しい夜でした。恐らくこの季節以外なら問題ないと思います。室内そのものは綺麗に維持されており写真通り。３階にあるシャワー、トイレも非常に良く掃除されているので清潔でした。 ２階に小さなラウンジがあり共同冷蔵庫と無料のコーヒーがあり ここで朝食を取ることになりますが、テーブルは一つだけなので 二人がやっと。混雑する時期は外で朝食を取るべきでしょう。 ただ初チェンマイに良かったのは、有名なナイトバザールがある地区とは違い、このオールドシティは本当に地元の生活と寺院と遺跡と、レストランカフェが混在しており、高い建物が殆どないので、バンコク等では味わえない、特にこの辺りの店は殆どエアコン無しで、まるで昭和のような街を体験出来ました。 コンビニや24Hのミニスーパー（TESCO)も徒歩５，６分の位置にあり そこに空港からのバスも泊まるので、初チェンマイでも効率よく観光が出来ました。 近くには外国人向けのBarや、マッサージ店、こ洒落たレストランが多く食事にも困りませんし、近くの運河沿いを朝散歩するのも気持ちよく、ホステルと言っても備品もしっかりしており、まるで下宿しているような、地元体験が出来て大きなホテルに無い魅力があり、また訪れてみたいなと思えるホステルです。

Great position. Walk distance to everything but out enough to sleep well. Room are very little but clean. If you are in a dorm, bathroom are 1 floor down. Lady owner very very nice and helpful!

호텔스닷컴 지도 틀려요. 전혀 다른 RENA hostel 로 나와있어서 캐리어 끌고 찾느라 엄청 헤매고 다녔어요. 실내는 나름 깨끗하게 꾸며놨는데.. 워낙 호스텔 건물이 낡고 위치가 안좋아서.. 구석에 처박힌듯한 느낌 ㅜㅜ 엘리베이터 없어서 짐들고 좁은 계단으로 방에 오르내리기 진짜 힘들어요. 3층 트윈룸이었는데.. 딱 1만원대에 맞을듯한 환경!! 1박 예약한거라 저희는 그냥 이곳 포기하고 위치좋은 호텔로 옮겼네요. 한블록 앞 호스텔들은 골목골목 예뻐서 지낼만할것 같은데 여긴 너무 외지고 낡아서 추천하고 싶진 않아요. 호스텔 예약하실거면 한두블럭 앞동네로 하세요~^^

Great location and very very clean ... But just keep in mind there won't be a ton of space. The bed was great, the owner was helpful. The walls are thin so if you have loud neighbors that can be annoying, but we only had one night with a problem. We spent 2 nights in the queen balcony room and one night in the full room. The full room has no windows and is smaller, so for two people we preferred the queen room for the breeze and the little extra space. It's a low cost option in a great location, so you really can't complain about the location of space for the price!

I stayed a week here while I was in Chiang Mai. I had an awesome stay! Staff was very friendly and cleaned the room each day. I had a shower in my room which was nice after a day of sightseeing. There is no laundry here but lots of places to do laundry just outside. This hostel is inside the walls in the Old Town. Lots of temples within walking distance. Everything was nice and clean. I would recommend and would stay here again!

Can't say enough great things about this Hostel. My first impression was when I arrived early and the owner seen that I was tired and allowed me to check in early. She was also very helpful with providing maps of the city and helping book any day trips. There were no shoes allowed in the building which explained the immaculate condition of the entire hostel. I greatly enjoyed my stay there and would highly recommend Lanna Hostel!

I loved Lanna Hostel! The owner went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. The hostel is a gem in Chiang Mai. I wanted to stay only two days, but I ended up staying seven days! I loved everything about Lanna Hostel. I would recommend it to everyone!

I stayed here for 4 nights and every single day was fantastic. My room had a balcony, it was on the top floor, felt spacious and comfortable. It was sparkling clean everywhere, shower was nice and hot, strong wifi, comfotable bed, whole hostel was very quiet. Staff was amazing! I cannot say enough how nice the host was. She was always ready to help me with any questions or issues that I had, including booking taxis and pointing me in the right directions. Every staff was extremely friendly. The location is in a quiet street in the northeast corner of the old city, really walkable to all major spots. All smiles. Highly recommended!
