Moonlight Bay Resort

War alles wirklich super! Hier würde ich auch wieder hingehen. Besonders die Strandbar hat uns gefallen. Preise und Leistungen war alle fair. Massage und Getränke. Die Kommunikation ging am besten per whats App mit der Rezeption

The staff where amazing, warm smiles and friendly Kia on reception was a pleasure to deal with helping us out with travel advice etc. would go back in a heart beat.

Staff, food, location and amenities are great. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The room we had located near check in, however, was not the best by any means. The walls are thin and the adjoining room door let in all the noise you associate with a 2 star hotel. You could hear every step the people above made. Our balcony was also directly in the line of sight for the walking path to the beach and restaurant. Every single guest in the hotel could look right into our room. Ugh.

The resort was amazing!! We were shocked at how beautiful the scenery was, the ocean bar, and a little river that flows through the resort. But the best was customer service! I have never met such nice, caring, and sincere staff. They were always upbeat. My friend was in a moped accident and they went above and beyond to make sure she got everything she needed. Their English was also very good which was nice because they were willing to call the clinic for us, schedule us taxis, booked our ferry for us, and so much more. The location of the resort was also very nice. Would definitely recommend!

An amazing hotel in a great location. The team were very kind and helpful, particularly Kookai who went above and beyond to recommend local restaurants. The food was fresh, beautifully presented and tasted great. Very good value for money. Perfect location for our trip to ‘Walking with Giants’ which was the highlight of our stay.

Les hôtes ont été aux petits soins, la chambre qui a vu sur mer est à couper le souffle ! Nous y étions en basse saison ce qui nous a apporté beaucoup de calme mais du coup nous avions peu de choix pour dîner : nous recommandons le restaurant Fish (300 m de l’hôtel, fabuleux)

We stayed on Koh Lanta for 4 days, the location is amazing, quite but not far from stuff to do. The service is okay. The food is great. The resort was taken over just 7months ago and for that it’s really good, looking forward coming back and to see what they made out of it. The rooms (sea view view) are very clean and the view is just amazing! A highlight was the massage right on the water!

Moonlight Bay Resort We spent 8 nights at Moonlight Bay Resort and had a fantastic stay. The hotel is situated directly on Klong Nin Beach and has its own secluded beach. There are two pool areas and a nice restaurant and bar. We stayed in a pool view room which was a good size with a huge balcony overlooking the pool and the creek and were able to watch a great variety of wildlife from the balcony in the early evening. Breakfast was included and had a good selection of food. One tip: get a second coffee maker!! The morning coffee queue is painful! The pool and beach area are quiet and there is no morning battle for sunbeds. We snorkelled off the beach and there was a bit to see underwater but not much. The hotel is about one mile from the main Klong Nin beach area which has a plethora of beach bars, restaurants and massage parlours. We chose to walk in and back each evening but there is always a taxi or two waiting outside the hotel if needed. I only have one real criticism. We decided to attend the Wednesday Seafood Barbecue and Fire show and turned up at the scheduled time of 7pm. There was already a large queue so we ordered a drink, joined the queue and made our order. By this time, we got the very last jacket potato and all the corn was gone. (There were still a number of people behind us in the line.) We placed our order (fish and squid) and went back to our seats. It was the one and a quarter hours until our food arrived. Die Unterkunft können wir nur jedem ans Herz legen. Das Personal ist durchweg extrem freundlich und serviceorientiert, wirklich außerordentlich nett. Nach einem kleinen Unfall mit dem Moped, welches wir über das Hotel für einen fairen Preis gemietet haben, wurden wir sehr liebevoll vom Hotelpersonal erstversorgt und unsere kleinen Wunden wurden gereinigt. Zusätzlich hat man dafür gesorgt, dass die Reparaturkosten für das Moped für uns fair ermittelt werden, sodass sich auch diese Kosten in einem überschaubaren Rahmen hielten. Das ist Service auf ganz hohem Niveau! Die Anlage erinnert fast schon an ein 4-Sterne Hotel in Griechenland. Super gepflegt und ein tolles Ambiente. Sonnenuntergänge können bequem von der Hotelbar genossen werden Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und geräumig. Sollten wir nochmal nach Koh Lanta reisen, werden wir wieder im Moonlight Bay einchecken. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt!

Für uns war das Moonlight Bay Resort einfach nur traumhaft!!! Wir hatten eine Villa mit Meerblick, was wir auch jedem empfehlen würden (mann muss jedoch Treppen steigen). Die Zimmer waren sauber und gut eingerichtet. Ein ein paar Stellen müsste vielleicht mal etwas ausgebessert werden, aber dies sind wirklich nur Kleinigkeiten und es hat uns nicht wirklich gestört. Das Personal ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit, manchmal vielleicht noch etwas unbeholfen, was sie jedoch für uns nur sympathischer gemacht hat. Die Anlage mit Restaurant, Bar und Strand sind Wunderschön. Bei Flut kann man auch gut baden und Schnorcheln. Die Preise für Speisen und Getränke sind etwas höher als bei den Local's, was aber normal ist. Alles in allem hatten wir einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt und würden das Resort wieder buchen und anderen empfehlen. Nochmals vielen Dank an das ganze Team vom Moonlight Bay Resort!!!

So ein tolles kleines Resort auf Koh Lanta! Für uns die perfekte Mischung aus hübsch aber nicht zu fancy, das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war super. Unsere Villa mit seitlichem Meerblick würden wir genau so wieder buchen. Was mir wichtig ist: alles war soweit dicht, dass keine Insekten etc. reinkommen. Das Frühstück war kleiner als man das von anderen Resorts in Phuket etc. kennt aber mehr als ausreichend. Die Massagen am Strand waren wirklich unter den besten, die ich in diesem Urlaub bekommen habe! Generell war das Personal super und hat uns auch mal eine selbst mitgebrachte Mango beim Frühstück aufgeschnitten :-) Die Lage war für uns perfekt, der Weg ans obere/untere Ende der Insel ist jeweils ca 20 Min, nach Old Town ca. 15 Minuten. Es sind einige Restaurants fußläufig erreichbar, wir empfehlen dennoch im Hotel einen Scooter auszuborgen.

Den var fantastisk och vi trivdes jätte mycket. Långt ifrån stan men gjorde inget för det var möjlighet för att låna moppe och ta sig runt hela ön vilket var en tillgång. Bra städning och jätte trevlig personal som vid städning som restaurang osv. Kommer antagligen komma tillbaka i framtiden

We stayed in both the hillside huts and the pool access rooms. We loved our stay staff very friendly food was delicious. My only suggestion would be the beach/pool area could do with an update. more comfortable sun loungers, pool updated and more umbrellas. beach bar was lovely for sunset drinks. Great location and beach was beautiful.
