Moracea by Khao Lak Resort

We stayed in a beachfront bungalow. Amazing. We were made to feel special from the very beginning. Check-in was fast, and the room was spectacular. Big bathroom with big shower and bath. Nicely decorated and 20m from the water. Comfy bed, good food options or take a 100 Tuk tuk to town where there’s plenty of dining options.

I didn’t overly commit much more to food than breakfast but from what I experienced the breakfast service was brilliant. Plenty of options and the service was great. Internet great, service all over the resort. Quite hilly in areas which would pose a slight problem if less mobile but saying that I’m pretty sure the resort offers buggy service. The resort itself is lovely, so natural with lots of trees, palms and greenery. Direct beach access, 4 pools to pick from. The rooms are really nicely decorated, very comfortable and adequately air conditioned. In terms of access to the main part of town, 10-15 minute walk and you arrive into one of the main parts of Khao Lak. Plenty of shopping and restaurants. I would without hesitation stay here again. Hôtel confortable, de jolis bungalows coupés en deux, très belle déco, confortables, dommage qu'il faille grimper depuis la plage (et donc depuis beaucoup de chambres) pour rejoindre le lobby et la sortie de l'hôtel; Même si une voiturette est disponible sur simple appel, c'est malgré tout une barrière pour un séjour totalement zen

Magnifique bungalow avec vue sur la mer, chaise longue juste devant et piscine juste derrière. Literie et propreté excellentes. Buffet du petit déjeuner incroyable et varié, repas du soir excellents. On peut demander à être amené en petit taxi pour tout déplacement. Et le mieux de tout est le personnel qui est d'une gentillesse et bienveillance que je n'ai vu nulle part ailleurs.

Originally only going to stay 2 nights, but ended up staying 7 nights. Didn’t like the hills up and down, I think it’s around 33 hectares. Breakfast was ok could have had a lot more selection. Room was nice with mosquito nets to keep them out at night.

It was close and easy to get around

Dejligt hotel, som ligger på en meget smuk strand. Selv om hotellet jo er er resort med adskillige pools, barer osv, så føles det stadig ret nærværende og intimt, da der er inddelt i zoner. Vi bookede en deluxe bungalow og det kan varmt anbefales

とてもお気に入りのリゾートです。緑多くプールや施設が綺麗で色々な鳥や生き物を見かけることができる。朝食も美味しいです。 素晴らしいのですが部屋にたくさん蚊が出て寝ている間に刺されてしまうのが残念です。

The Moracea Hotel is like no other in Khao lak,its set on a stunning beach with a beautiful collection of pools. The staff are the best ive ever known anywhere in the world as they ensure you are having a great experience and always have time for a chat .This hotel stands out amongst the rest ,There arent any negatives whatsoever and we will definately be back .Thankyou for making our stay so special Moracea

Amazing...staying right at the beachfront

Sensational resort, amazing beaches, felt small and quiet but was quite large. Close walk to small town with loads of eating options, near to a small jungle Hike to the most perfect small beach. Rooms great, staff great. The only small downside is the main restaurant, a few dining options would have been nice on an evening but a £4 tuk tuk takes you to some great eateries. I’d return in an heartbeat and I’ve been to Thailand a good few times and this is one of the best hotels you could stay in. Loads of lizards around, and water monitors, they leave you alone but all adds to the vibe

Mooi groot resort aan het strand. Veel trappen maar dat maakt het wel natuurlijk met al die begroeiing. Mooi strand en zwembaden!

Ideal for quite holiday for couples who want to relax. Resort is very hilly so be mindfull if you have mobility issues. However hotel staff very helpful with sending a buggy to get uou ftom your accommodation to reception. We stayed in beach bungalow wich was easly walking to restaurant . Staff very helpful and bungalows very nice with amazing view.

Schönes Hotel (Hanglage) direkt am Strand. Freundliche Mitarbeiter, die immer höflich und zuvorkommend sind. Die Villa bietet eine gute Ausstattung. Strandtasche, Taschenlampe, Schirme und Co. stehen zur freien Verfügung. Strandtücher können an der Bar gewechselt werden. Restaurants, Supermärkte etc. gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Das Spa kann ich ebenfalls empfehlen. Natürlich ist es teurer, aber dafür ist es auch wirklich gut und im Vorfeld wird nach Allergien etc. gefragt. Das Reservieren von Liegen durch andere Gäste war etwas lästig, aber da kann das Hotel wenig machen. Wir haben dennoch immer einen Platz gefunden.

Das Hotel als solches im Großen und Ganzen ist schon schön - tolle Lage mit hervorragendem Strand und super tollen Restaurants/Bars die leicht zu Fuß bzw Taxi erreichbar sind. Auch eine Auswahl an schönen Pools ist vorhanden. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit dort aber im Detail betrachtet ist es aber kein Hotel welches wir Freunden und Familie weiterempfehlen würden. Der Service und die typische thailändische Freundlichkeit ließen bei einem Großteil des Personals zu wünschen übrig. Bei den Bars/Restaurants hatte man das Gefühl sich entschuldigen zu müssen wenn man etwas bestellen möchte, bis auf die eine Poolbar wo man im Wasser sitzen konnte. Die Einrichtung ist auch schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Massagen 4x so teuer wie in der Stadt. Das Hotel liegt an einem steilen Hang, heißt viele Treppen und Höhenmeter, hält zwar Fit aber für ältere Menschen sicherlich sehr anstrengend! Das Reservieren der Liegen ist zwar verboten, findet aber trotzdem sehr rege statt und wird vom Personal auch leider nicht unterbunden. Frühstück war o.k., haut einem aber auch nicht aus den Socken, von einem 5* Hotel kann man da mehr erwarten! Was man aber definitiv in diesem Hotel finden kann, ist Ruhe und einen traumhaftem und erholsamen Strand, den man lediglich mit den anderen Hotelgästen teilt.

가족 3인이 비치프론트 방갈루를 이용했습니다. 문열면 바다, 바로앞 뿌띠한 잔디, 뒤로가면 수영장(깊지않아 아이랑 놀기 딱 좋습니다, 수질 관리 좋습니다), 옆으로가면 레스토랑, 바.. 분위기가 정말 평화롭고 조용합니다. 침대도 푹신하니 넓고요. 관리상태도 좋습니다. 바다 전망도 예뻐요. 중간 바위도 있어 물놀이하다가 바위 위에 올라가 쉬시면 뜨듯한게 아주 좋습니다. 일몰이 아름다워요. 비치배드는 일어나자 마자 찜꽁해 놓으셔요. 어르신들이 당췌 일어 나시지 않아요. 비치타월도 냄세 안나고 뽀송하게 관리 되어 있습니다. 실내는 사진보다 생각보다 작았지만 욕실은 크고 깔끔했어요. 청결상태도 아주 좋았습니다. 단점은 숙소 방음이 잘 안됩니다. 옆집 필란드 가족 아빠가 10시 이후에는 조용히 해달라는 민원을 받았었지요...ㅜ.ㅜ 모기가 좀 있어요.. 한국모기와 다르게 아주 작습니다. 진짜 안보여요. 스텔스 수준이에요. 모기약 준비해 가는게 좋겠습니다. 레스토랑 조식은 정말 괜찮았습니다. 2인 무료라는데 그런거 체크 안합니다. 그냥 가서 드세요. 요리도 맛있구요. 단 소고기 요리는 피하시는게 좋겠습니다. 한국과는 다르게.. 못먹는 지방부분이 너무 많아요. 우리가족만 한국이고. 대부분 유럽 여행객입니다. 우리가족이 지나가면 신기한듯 처다 봅니다... 동양인 처음 보는건지.. 가족단위 아니면 어른신들이 대부분 입니다. 그래서 그런지 더욱 조용~하고 휴양지 분위기가 큽니다. 직원들 친절하고 항상 웃고 다닙니다. 단... 언어가... 영어발음이 너무 쎄요. 못알아 듣겠어요. 스마트폰 번역기 있으니 어려울건 없습니다. 리조트 근처 방니앙 야시장은 택시로 5분도 안걸립니다. 약국, 편의점은 걸어서 갈 수 있는 거리에요. "What's App" 이용하셔서 택시 부르면 됩니다. (방니앙 야시장까지 200밧) 리조트 택시는 좀 비싸요. 주변 여행 투어도 택시로 주문하면 되겠습니다. 방니앙 야시장 앞 한식집 "서울포차" 있습니다. 야시장 가격수준은 종로 쌈지길과 비슷하다고 보시면 됩니다. 즐겨보자! 하고 이거 저거 사고 먹다보면 30만원 우습게 나갑니다. 음식 식당 위생수준은.... 우리 전통시장하고 비슷하다고 보시면 되요. 기대하고 가면 야시장 같은 곳 못갑니다. 화장실 이용 시 10밧 받아요. 엑티비티로 "수린섬" 꼭 추천 드립니다. 우리가족은 1박을 했습니다. 산호초 섬이고.. 천국이더군요. 단 매점가격은 정말 비쌉니다. (아이스크림 월드콘 비슷한게 80밧) 1박의 경우 술, 담배 안팝니다. 사서 들어가셔야 해요. 즐거운 여행되세요!

Das Hotel hat eine direkte Strandlage, was uns sehr gefallen hat. Hier stehen auch viele Liegen zur Verfügung - allerdings ist hier ein rießen großes Problem, dass der Großteil der Liegen schon am Morgen reserviert werden und selbst bis 11:00 Uhr noch nicht genutzt werden. Das Hotel weißt zwar daraufhin, dass keine Liegen reserviert werden sollen, aber es wird nichts dagegen getan! Man findet sich auf dem Grundstück des Hotels, zumindest am Anfang, nur sehr schwer zurecht, da an den Schildern ein wenig gespart wurde und die Wege doch sehr verwirrend über das Gelände führen. Ein zentraler Weg zum Strand bzw. Restaurant wäre hilfreich. Das Zimmer war sehr ruhig und geräumig, wir hatten sogar einen Blick aufs Meer, obwohl die Zimmerkategorie das eigentlich nicht versprach. Das Personal war freundlich und zuvorkommend. Insgesamt haben wir uns wohlgefühlt.
