Blue Residence

As mentioned, I double booked a second rez for a friend to test what was being offered on Expedia - meaning that my 2nd rez I effectively had 2 rooms reserved for the same day; however 3 rooms still shoed being available with private shower. The staff assured me that this time I would get the room with private bath. ONE staff allowed the transfer with the new rez but a few hours later another staff asked for additional money for this room with the manager behind the scene on the phone. I DECLINED and returned to my showerless -toiletless communial bath room. Luckily, I was the only one bookef for this so I just walked across the hall. All in all, I have stayed in Berlin with a luxurious private shower only room but it was clearly stated in the booking. The toilet was in our private entrance and shared privstely by omly 2 rooms. For those without extensive world travel experience booking a room that states it has a shower means you get a bathroom! So showing up to find this not to be the case would be a disaster. I tested tgs system bit afterall it was a stay-cation during a critical construction phase.Give ppl the option to chose and stop the bait-n-switch upgrade game.Someone might choose the option like I did in Berlin - afterall I was next to Das Kaufhause (DKH).t I GIVE THIS low rating because making ppl feel housing insecure is lowbrow.

Misleading information about the rooms available to book on Expedia: Room listed with shower but there was no shower. BUT a room with private bath was offered at a more expensive price upon arrival (BAIT & SWITCH). ROOMS WITHOUT SHOWERS have access to a community bathroom facility BUT The toilet located across from the room did not work and one must go to the other end of the hall for the toilet. The shower st the end of yhe hall does not have hot water. Leaving one working toilet for 3 rooms. This facility has 3 rooms without bathrooms and 3 rooms with private baths. Rooms without private baths DO NOT state that one must use a community. I spoke with staff upon arrival and with the Manager but both insisted, even after looking at the booking information on Expedia, that I had booked a room community bath....none of the rooms have showers only. The place is quite and staff is nice so book a room knowing that you are getting only community bath facilities and expect the bait and switch to upgrade to a room with private showers under duress of no refund. I spoke with staff before extending and was under the impression that I would get the private bath since the shower option was stated on Expedia --- NOT.
