Great New Hotel To Tobago

We stayed for 2 nights 3 days and it really was a comfortable stay. The bed was honestly my favorite part! The room was clean and cozy. Nice breakfast, beautiful pool, helpful staff and good location to access public transport. Would definitely stay here again!

It was nice location and nice view from pool.

Totally enjoyed our stay at this hotel. From the start of our arrival, everything was prepared and executed seamlessly. All the staff we encountered were hospitable and we were courteous. They definitely need to do some more marketing to promote the place. I only stumbled upon this place by mistake while on Expedia but it was a great mistake.

Property was clean and room was very decent. Enjoyed the pool and breakfast. An overall good experience.

The stay was relaxing and non intrusive. I however am concerned about the odour on the corridor leading to the restaurant. Every where else has a pleasant calming odour and the music being played on rotation was conducive to relaxation, but I don’t know if there is a plumbing issue, nothin masks that odour as one comes off the elevator on the 6th floor. Outside of my olfactory assault on the 6th floor, this is a wonderful place to relax and unwind.

Overall great hotel but the staff at breakfast need to be friendlier, more courteous, quicker with their service and warm.

Hotel was wonderful & staff was great. However there was fine ants all over in our room they were everywhere. It can be controlled but they need to pay attention to it. They crawled over everything and made it a little uncomfortable after a while. Otherwise our stay was great.

The property in itself was really nice and the staff was very amicable. However, the location isn’t so great and its not very family friendly. This will be an excellent location for business travel, but not necessarily tourism.

Our stay there was quiet and peaceful as as per usual. However the breakfast options were less than the first two times I stayed at Comfort Inn and suites. There was also only 1 fruit option per day. Other than that i enjoyed my stay.

This was my first time staying at Comfort Inn Tobago. Overall the place is very nice and clean. The issue I have is when they host other events they do not have anywhere for the guest to go or do. Since we are guest we should be priority. The housekeeper came and took all the dirty towels and rags, but did not have any to replace it with. We had to use face towels the last 2 days of our stay. I was told they’re being washed and when it’s a lot of people staying they run short. That’s unacceptable. Besides that I would stay here again. The location is ideal.

I would sooner sleep in a tent than return to that hotel for a second stay. It was dreadful. Termites in the bathroom and a view of a wall. It felt like I was in a basement. Also, their no-smoking policy is extreme. I understand we don't smoke indoors, but their "completely off the premises" policy (add a dismissive flick of the hand), which included their car park, made the stay feel unsafe, very unwelcoming and bordering on oppressive. All of that would be fair enough if smoking were against the law, but it isn't yet. Until it is, hotels should provide an outdoor area where people can smoke or get out of the hospitality business. Please warn other potential customers. Also, the Hotels. com website offered a smoking room, which I thought was odd in this day and age. So, it is best not to rely on anything the website says. My one night stay was a very disappointing, misleading and unpleasant experience. On the plus side, the bed was comfy and the views at breakfast were great. The housekeeping staff were very pleasant and none of the issues I experience were their responsibility. Also, the late check-out customer gave was a kind gesture, but I just wanted to leave.

Cleanliness & Comfort: The hotel was clean and comfortable - I loved the microwave, fridge and coffee service available. Toiletries were also provided but they were very small so bring your own Staff & Service: The staff was generally polite though not the usual friendly service you would have expected from a hotel in a tourist destination. Staff generally did not engage unless spoken to specifically and even then most were very brief and distant in response. A tourist destination hotel should be more engaging. One staff member in the restaurant was happy to participate in discussion while I waited on my food and it was a pleasure speaking with her and finding out we shared a love for History. We spoke of Trinidad and Tobago's history and its distinct nature and comparison with other countries. My wait was much more enjoyable because of the conversation we had. Food & Beverage: The breakfast buffet was very good though the eggs could have been less oily. The coffee served at breakfast was lovely but the coffee provided in the lobby was not good. We bought dinner from the restaurant and both my husband and I would rate the food a 3/10. Overall Impression: A nice hotel for a short visit and business travel but I would not stay here if I were on vacation

Beautiful setting, especially for the views from the restaurant and pool.

Check in receptionist was not the most friendly, check-in was carded for 3pm and they were not sure which room to place us in after 40 mins I had to ask for an update with very poor communication and no apology for the long wait. The other receptionist apologized for her co-worker. Thereafter, the 5 day stay was enjoyable.
