Marhaba Palace

Excellent place. We were in off season (December) so it was cool out. Pools aren’t heated so no swimming outside. Excellent staff and entertainment. Very nice area. Felt very safe walking to the nearby Port. Not the hard sell that Sousse has.

Der Urlaub war wirklich wunderschön. Das Hotel ist insgesamt gut bis sehr gut. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das ausgezeichnete Servicepersonal in allen Bereichen – von der Rezeption über die Küche und die Restaurants bis zu den Kellnern und dem stets freundlichen Reinigungspersonal

Tout le personnel, en particulier celui de la réception et les animateurs, très sympa. Buffet : super... ça mériterait un peu de rénovation de la salle de bain...

Un séjour sympa dans ce vieux palace entretenu à moindre frais. On s’attendrait logiquement à des prestations et des équipements bien au dessus, mais tout est en rapport avec la politique de réduction des coûts pour attirer une clientèle de type classe moyenne de l’hémisphère nord. Les équipements sont donc vieillissants mais toujours fonctionnels, les travaux d’entretien limités à une énième couche de peinture sans volonté excessive de finition, le nettoyage est dans le même esprit, c’est à dire fait mais pas dans le but d’atteindre une propreté satisfaisante. Le restaurant propose une cuisine variée mais toujours adaptée aux palais délicats de ces chers européens du Nord sous le coup d’un régime sans sel. Heureusement le coin des spécialités Tunisiennes propose des choses plus relevées et il reste possible d’assaisonner soi-même. On se sent plutôt dans une cantine correcte qui aurait fait des efforts de présentation. Côté bar, toutes les boissons sans exception sont de très basse qualité ce qui rend les cocktails trop sucrés et peu enthousiasmants. Finalement nous aurions préféré payer plus cher pour de meilleurs produits et plus de plaisir à les déguster. Au global le faible coût payé hors saison permet de sauvegarder le rapport qualité prix mais cela n’encourage pas à revenir en pleine saison pour les mêmes prestations ! Le personnel est agréable d’autant plus si vous distribuez les pourboires dont ils ont bien besoin pour compenser des salaires toujours trop bas…

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Marhaba Palace, and it was an experience that exceeded all expectations. The food was absolutely delicious and varied. The staff were incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. The facilities were exceptional, including a gym, pool, spa, tennis courts, and kids' club. The beach was located only a few seconds away, which had a very soft, sandy beach and was very clean. The level of service and attention to detail was truly remarkable, making it a truly 5-star experience. I would recommend it to everyone and can't wait to return!

Pictures online are deceiving - beds are single not doubles. Some staff were unhelpful and unfriendly, some were better. Food at the hotel restaurant was almost inedible and close to zero options for vegetarians, we had all inclusive but ate every meal outside the hotel. Beds were comfortable enough and bathrooms were clean. Shower has no water pressure and the water did not drain efficiently. Overall, didn't need to switch hotel but wouldn't go back here.

Hotel was okay, it's has the making of being good but just lacking the extra mile that makes it good . Bedroom was fine , bed was comfy, as we where there in December and the weather wasn't great we appreciated the heating which worked fine. The main hotel building was cool to cold. Food unfortunately wasn't up to scratch, lots of uneatable choice but poor quality, don't be going for food or drink , the bar has no premium drinks , just very cheap copies most of which taste awful, staff where very nice and courteous but everything just lacked a good hotel feel. Pity really with just a bit of extra effort it could be so much better. There where cats running around the inside of the hotel and bar , birds flying around the dining room and landing on food, lots of cleaners but they didn't seem to achieve very much, lovely setting and pool area , unfortunately the weather wasn't great for us and we didn't get to use it but it all looked very pleasant. I did go for a massage and seaweed scrub, it was fine , no complaints but I have had much better , it was all a bit clinical, more like being in a hospital than a hotel , personal service was lacking , nothing special but it was quite cheap. All in all not great , very average, wouldn't return.

Great 4 night break with friends on all inclusive basis. Nice rooms with comfortable beds, selection of food on offer exceeded expectations with local specialties included. Plentiful drinks which were more than palatable at the extremely reasonable price paid. Two large pools with plenty of sun beds with direct access on to the beach. All in all a great trip.

Das erster Tag war schrecklich die Zimmern haben gestunken wir hatten Gartenblick gebucht und bekommen haben wir Blick auf den Küchendach, Bettwäsche waren benutzt mit Haare und Brotkrümel . Nach Reklamation wurde am nächsten Tag die Zimmer geändert ab da war alles viel besser Zimmer wurde täglich gesäubert und Bettwäsche gewechselt. Das Essen war genügend da aber für ein 5 Sterne Hotel ist es mittelmäßig vorallem alles wurde ohne salz zubereitet. Das Personal war teilweise freundlich am meisten zu europäischen Gästen. Das Hotel ist mittelmäßig und nicht zu vergleichen mit ein 5 Sterne Hotel in Antalya.

Flott hotell😀Har vært i Tunisia mange ganger, og dette er kanskje det flotteste hotellet vi har bodd på! Ikke luksushotell, men god standard. Fin pris også!

Nous avons passé un bon séjour même s’il n’avait pourtant pas forcément bien démarré. La réceptionniste brune à l’accueil est hyper désagréable. Elle n’explique rien et on avait clairement l’impression de l’embêter. Sur les 4 chambres réservées avec vue mer 1 n’avait pas la vue mais ils nous l’ont changé le lendemain. L’hôtel a sérieusement besoin d’un coup de neuf malgré les efforts du personnel (rafraîchissement de la peinture dans les couloirs, ménage ok, les employés de service sont adorables. Les chambres ne sont pas insonorisées par contre la literie est géniale on a super bien dormi ! Merci infiniment au personnel du restaurant qui se sont dévoués pour nous régaler et nous servir tous les jours avec le sourire avec mention spéciale pour notre repas tunisien..merci encore ! Le buffet est vraiment bien garni que ce soit le matin, mention spéciale à l’adorable dame qui fait les omelettes : les meilleures de toute ! Le midi et le soir les plats changent c’est super ! Par contre les cocktails ne sont vraiment pas digne d’un 5 étoiles. hormis les cocktails spéciaux réalisés rien que pour nous par certains Barman :) Gros problème au niveau du spa : jamais de place au vu du nombre de touristes et de la capacité d’accueil. La salle de sport ferme à 17h et nous n’avons pas pu profiter de la salle de RPM. C’est vraiment dommage ! La plage n’est pas nettoyé donc pas du comme sur les photos… Bravo et merci au reste du personnel pour votre gentillesse (animation…)
