Beachside Motel

VERY NOSTALGIC. HAD A NICE 1 NIGHT STAY. STAFF VERY NICE. WOULD STAY AGAIN.

Bridget in the wrong was an absolute delight, however - the room was not so. It was very damp, the door lock was very minimal, sheets were full of pilling and felt like a used bath towel. I had my own personal fly swatter (bizarre), phone was filled with dirt, the remote was absolutely filthy and full of gunk. I was going to put a chair under the door knob since the lock was so little, chair was too short to do that - so I felt very uneasy most of the night. This wasn't an issue to Bridget, she was wonderful and kind and great, but the facility itself - not very great. I understand this is a motel AND for almost 200 a night - I wasn't anticipating to be in somewhere so yuck. Dirt in the corners of the room - but bathroom appeared clean other than the shower head. I didn't use it, I slept in my clothes on top of the sheets mostly with my hood up. This isn't somewhere I'd recommend to stay - the reviews were certainly deceiving. I cancelled the second night unfortunately and found another hotel nearby.

Bridget was such a sweetheart and so helpful! This will definitely be my go to from now on.. you are so close to the beach and close to town. Love it

The staff was so pleasant and helpful. The motel although older had been updated and was clean. Beds were comfortable. Overall an excellent place to stay!!!

Family oriented and super clean! Restaurant across the street that was easy to walk to. We couldn’t see the ocean from our room, but all you have to do is walk over the sand dune and you’re on the beach

Close to the beach and to seafood restaurants...the two main things on vacation. 😁

It was a good place to stay my sister and I felt safe staff was friendly and very helpful, the only downside is you could smoke anywhere on property except in your rooms you could even by your doors outside , being we don’t smoke it was a turn off when you walk outside and many are smoking by there doors

We spent a 5 night family vacation at Beachside. We had a great experience and a wonderful stay. Would book again if ever in the Amelia Island area.

Proximity to the beach. Room had an adequate supply of equipment, minus teaspoons. Beds were comfy with 4 good sized pillows. The only downside was there are no net curtains so everyone walking past looked in so we had to keep the curtains closed making it dark. There was a good supply of snacks at reception and coffee. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

We had an excellent stay. The staff was friendly and accomodating. The grounds were clean as was the pool. our room was great and the location on the beach was super.

This property is an incredible value. It certainly has some age on it, but it's super clean and so very convenient to the beach. There's also a lovely beachside pool. The price can NOT be beat. I love the old Florida vibe. Wonderful restaurant just across the road too.

I travel frequently and I can say I was little hesitate booking a motel. I have only stayed at a motel 2 times in my adult life. I chose the Beachside Motel bc it had a pool and it had direct beach access. I can say I enjoyed my weekend stay at the property. It was clean and accommodating and quiet and check in was amazing and easy…I highly recommend booking this property if your looking for something quaint, quiet and direct beach access. I will def be using then again.

Staff was very nice. Stayed 5 days in balcony room. No microwave, definitely a motel as listed. Small and kinda cramped for a family of 5. Bathroom is very small. Knees touch door if using restroom. Ac worked great, beds were comfortable. Did kill some bugs but staff was very concerned when I told them. (Cockroach and spider). I would stay again if I can find a better price than $1500.

Beachside Motel is just simply awesome. The rooms are clean, updated with great beds and bedding and the rooms smell clean when you walk in. It is super close to the beach and the pool by the beach is awesome too. Fresh coffee in the lobby with snacks is nice too. We will definitely return. A hidden gem in the heart of Amelia Island !!

They put handicap people upstairs .would not accommodate i needs I will never stay there again

We have stayed at many different places over the last 25 years and this is our favorite. First time and it will not be the last. Everything was Perfect and everyone was So friendly and helpful.

We will be back next year! Beachside was perfect for our family of 3! Easy access to the beach, a relaxing pool, and restaurants close by! The ONLY improvement I could come up with is the curtains…the sun peeked through the top of the curtain EARLY! LOL! We didn’t need an alarm clock! The staff were AMAZING! Super friendly and helpful and answered ALL my travel questions!!
