Comfort Inn & Suites Jackson

We have stayed at this hotel before & other Comfort Inns in the area. The rooms dont smell & the property is clean. I really like that breakfast is available early (because we leave early every morning) This was the first time having a not great experience with check in. When we arrived, I found a handwritten note on the counter to go to the housekeeping room. The young lady was lukewarm personality (I guess she was tired from working both jobs, front desk and washing laundry). It started as the typical check in process (driver license, payment method etc.). she then proceeds to tell me that she needs to photo copy my credit card. I expressed that I was concerned about the safe keeping of the card copy and didn't want it copied. She said "its policy and they do it all the time, it must be my first time staying there" I told her it wasn't my first time and I didn't want my card copied because the credit card information was already in their system. (I do understand that hotels can charge for damages or theft of items in the room). She said "I will gladly check you out if you want or you can talk to the manager tomorrow morning". Well needless to say, for every day we were there, we left early in the morning and returned late at night so I never had a chance to talk to the manager. The other item that I would like to note- The pool is under construction/repairs. This was not noted on the website, I found out when I got to the hotel. Again, it was a note on the desk.

The staff was nice and check in was easy but we were disappointed that there was no prior notice that there would be construction going on and that the pool would not be available along with a broken ice machine :( things you don't really think of until they are not there.

Check in was a little rough as the agent was having issues with the system for keys. We needed 2 sets of keys and on the 3rd try we were assigned a new room. The bed was a little hard but ok. There was also a lot of humidity in the room and hallways. We didn’t know about the construction but that’s ok! The breakfast was actually pretty good and had a lot to choose from. Would stay there again if I travel out that way.

Didn't like that they only clean the room every 4 days if you stay for an extended period of time.

Nice check in, nice lobby, construction wasn't revealed at time of booking, also pool out of service, clean hotel, no room cleaning at all during my stay. Pleasant and nice staff, clean.

It was easy tk find and the beds were so comfortable and very clean.

Large room, convenient, good price

The in-room jacuzzi picutred on the site no longer exists. The pool was closed for renovation. The room was fine, although the bathroom could have been cleaner. Reception was kind and friendsly. Breakfast fine, but coffee not very strong.

Room is clean, reception and breakfast are fair. The pool was out of service .

All I care about for a quick stay is that the staff is nice and the room, primarily the bed and bathroom, are clean. Both were true for this hotel, however, I removed a star from the overall rating because the pool was closed for maintenance.

Overall average stay. Beds clean, room generally clean, however the bathroom had signs of mold on the walls and in the corner of the shower. We were only there overnight for a wedding and I had already showered at home so I just didn't use the shower. The complementary breakfast offered the next morning was a bonus and was good.

Good location and clean all around.

When you are charging $300 a night in Jackson, Michigan you should at least empty the trash every day. There were enough towels (3) for one person for a three day stay but it would have only taken a minute to get the trash and straighten the bed

Pool was not working but otherwise excellent

Easy access to our room. Clean, bed was comfortable. Pillows could of been better. Overall great.

No complaints everything from the room to the complimentary breakfast is 👍. My hotel with every visit.

Not sure about every room but our bed was rock hard. Everytime we got off the bed it sounded like a banging noise like pipes in the floor board. I also heard it in the room next to ours. Not staying there again.

The hotel's in a great spot, easy to get to. The room was clean and had plenty of space to chill out.

The property is excellent compared to others. The only problem is replenishing breakfast when it runs out, not when told it’s out.
