Comfort Inn & Suites Plainville-Foxboro

This hotel is in the process of being renovated. It was clear that our room had recently been done, by the smell of fresh paint, but there were still some issues - our deadbolt didn’t work, the water pressure in the shower was pretty bad, the fan in the bathroom was very loud, but only when the door was closed (strange!), and there was something all over the bathroom counter, which I’m guessing was putty or something from the renovation because I couldn’t clean it off. Overall the room was fine for a quick stay. Breakfast wasn’t great - we got there as soon as it opened and there wasn’t much of a selection and no one to be found refilling anything or adding to the options.

Denise was amazing! not only was she at the front desk, she was helping with issues in the room and on top of that she was doing breakfast. She was extremely friendly. Talked to everyone and made them feel very welcome. For a very small hotel there needs to be more staff one for the front desk, one for maintenance one for breakfast. The room did smell strange at the elevator also. Other people were also stating the same thing about their room and the elevator. The rooms did not have a menu of other restaurants that were close by. They did not also have a guide for the TV, ours not work for the first night, couldn’t get it fixed because there was only one person at the front desk. Even after our hotel room was cleaned the shower floor was dirty. We didn’t get very many towels either. This wasn’t a horrible stay, but I wouldn’t go back Denise. The lady at the front was absolutely amazing and she definitely made her stay delightful.

Disgusting. Dirty and reeked of sewage. We couldn't stay the smell in the room and the dining area was so strong. We left immediately and they refused to give us a refund.

We went to a show near by and needed a room for a night. It was close, newly renovated and clean. Would stay again.

The water pressure was awful. The tv didn't work.they only have 2 carts for luggage. I had to make 2 trips. The hallway and lobby has no air conditioning, when it is hot out it is very hard to breathe going up to your room including in the elevator.

I liked everything. The hotel is renovated, everything is clean and new.

This place should not be open yet. It is not ready. Staff are friendly and apologetic (and quite frankly i felt sorry for them). Should be half the price. If you just need a place to sleep for one night and then move out, it will suffice, but at a too expensive price.

Check went well, staff was very polite and helpful. While we were leaving for dinner, we noticed about 25 families were getting handed prepackaged meals on an organized manner. During nite we had 2 fire alarm incidents one at midnight and one at 430am. While checking out. We were told this has been an ongoing problem as some of the long term residents were washing clothes wct in their rooms.

Our check in was great. Comfortable clean room. Our bathroom sink leaked but the desk clerk (Ethan I believe) was quick to help us with a bucket until he could get a repairman.

Overall the hotel is decent, clean, good breakfast, good rooms. It's not especially convenient to Boston and it's not close to much, backs up to a trailer park. The main reason that I didn't give this 5 stars was they have the AC governed so it won't get cold in the room and the fan would not stay on. I slept terrible.

Very comfortable all around. Nice breakfast in the morning. Good rate.

bathtub doesn't have any curtain so when you shower, all the water splashes into the floor. It is a falling hazard. The tub didn't look clean to do bathtub. So, have to do shower.
