Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Canton, an IHG Hotel

It smelled like sewage when you first pulled in the parking lot, when you walk in the front door it smelled like that also. The floors in the room were dirty. Bed was horrible looked like someone had a used the bathroom in the floor and walked in it. Sand in the shower floor, mildew in the corners of the shower

Check in and out was a breeze. There were no towels in the room upon arrival which the staff promptly corrected I would like to see the handicap room more conveniently located on the first floor or closer to the elevator. Breakfast was great.

Por fuera se ve bien, pero por dentro todo esta sucio, habia mucha gente en el lobby como si hubiera una fiesta, todo mundo gritando, la carpeta del elevador estaba totalmente sucia al igual que las carpetas de los pasillos, el aire acondicionado hacia demaciado ruido al prenderlo. Honestamente esta locacion me a dejado una muy mala experiencia, solo esperaba a que amaneciera para irme de ese lugar., y honestamente no quise ni tomar desayuno "GRATIS" pues el desayunador esta tambien muy lleno de personas, y dudo mucho que hubieran sido huespedes, porque observe a otras tantas, estacionandose solo para ir a tomar desayuno, no se si este Hotel regala comida a personas del exterior pues eso me parecio. DEFINITIVAMENTE NO SE QUEDEN EN ESTA LOCACION!!!

It was just okay, the rooms were clean and every other place was clean. The elevator smelled really bad, it was stincking and the carpet in the floor of elevator was dirty.

Nice place to stay. Shower was in rough condition but overall wasn’t bad.

Hallways smelled bad and floors were dirty. HVAC in room was so loud I had to wear ear plugs to sleep. The TV stopped working on my second night there.

When we went to check in, the person at the front desk told us there were no towels for the room. He went to the back and came back with several wash cloths. We asked if we could get towels and he said “no, someone else needed extras earlier today so we have none left”. I asked if we could cancel the booking and go somewhere else. He said yes but never canceled. I was still charged.

The bed was too soft and there were also ants on the bathroom. The hall smelled like skunk which may indicate someone smoking in the (non-smoking) hotel. And the room kinda smelled moldy and the outer was looked like it had water damage. Staff was friendly upon check in but the hotel left much to be desired.

Arrived and my already paid reservation for 3 nights was cancelled. However the front desk said they had a non rentable room with no T.V., they could clean for us. We waited an hour and a half for this room. The room smelt like bleach, with light paint droppings all over furniture, the shower barely worked. The next day we were moved into adequate rooms. Unfortuately there were no other hotels with rooms available due to this fall festival. The staff said they would compensate me for the first night stay, so far this has not happened. Not sure I will use expedia again.

We need a place to sleep for a couple of nights when me move out of the area. Good service and excellent breakfast.

Have you ever heard of the expression lipstick on a pig? If you haven't, then you'll definitely learn what it means when you go to this hotel. I have no clue how this hotel has as many five star reviews as it does. Believe the few bad reviews, because they tell the true story. We picked this hotel because it had such a high rating in the area. But soon found out that these ratings are not appropriate for this establishment. It appears that someone came in and did a quick remodeling. The pictures make it look like an updated, clean, and decent place to stay. Don't let the pictures deceive you. Our mattresses were sunken in. The bathroom looked old and moldy with a worn out tub. The ceiling had remnants of water damage. Big stains on the carpet and upholstery. The accommodations in the room were put together cheaply. Whoever painted this hotel didn't care how it turned out. The common areas are just the same. Dirty. Smelly. Rundown. If you're willing to take a quick glance from afar, it seems like a decent place to stay. But don't be fooled by a pig in lipstick. Wouldn't recommend this stay to anyone for this price. Might as well stay at a crack motel for half the cost and get the same experience.

Overall my stay was good just my pillows was flat not comfortable and housekeeping didn't clean my room gud the floor wasn't vacuumed and they didn't change sheets on bed had same sheets on bed

Booked my mother a room her tv didn’t work her bathroom was filthy the bathtub was so nasty like they haven’t cleaned it in months . The lady wasn’t very accommodating I wouldn’t recommend a dog to book a room at this hotel.

Terrible mold smell. Carpet wet from malfunctioning a/c. Dead bugs in room. Bathtub was a death trap. Everything was in very poor condition.

We arrived late at night to the hotel. From the outside it appeared to be okay. However, the interior was pretty terrible. Our room smelled like urine, our toilet wasn’t anchored to the ground, there was traces of mold in the shower, and we even killed a couple of roaches. It seemed like the beds were new and updated, and the staff was extremely helpful and kind. I’m just disappointed reading that all other guests commented on the cleanliness of the hotel. That is a must for me in a stay. So I thought we’d be okay.
