Holiday Inn Express & Suites ROCHESTER HILLS - DETROIT AREA by IHG, an IHG Hotel

Room was decent and clean but thermostat/ air didn’t work well. Pool was dirty with sand and rocks in it. Staff was friendly and breakfast was delicious.

It was okay. Hallway carpets dirty and mildew smell, which had me worried about the condition of the room. But the room was nice. Pool environment was HOT HOT HOT! Not sure why the heat was blasting in the pool area, but made in uncomfortable to stay in unless you were swimming, and even then it was too hot. Literally a sauna with water. Pool deck was dirty and tbmhe cement at bottom of pool was chipping. The hotel is in a great area. Can walk to walmart, Meijer, restaurant. Breakfast pretty good. Overall, not terrible. But cant say that id stay again.

There was Bottle cap on the floor in the room, which made us wonder if the rom as actually cleaned or not. Stains on the blinds, red stain on the carpet, and a hole in the chair in the room. We had three people and there were only 2 towels in the room. The breakfast was cold. We kept getting multiple credit card authorizations even though we paid in full through Expedia. The security deposit was only suppose to be $50, we were charged more than that. When we confronted the front the desk about this, they had no answer. Then the pool was not available on the first day of visits. Then the 2nd day, the pool was freezing cold. Our kiddo was very disappointed. Also there were tiny rocks at the bottom on the pool on one end. Overall, it was not a good experience. Very disappointed!

This property was in a quiet, secluded area. The staff was very nice upon arriving. The room was a nice size, very clean and spacious. The morning breakfast was fantastic. I will be staying here again in the future!

Always love the breakfast at Holiday Inn. The room was clean, and friendly staff. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel

Great but there is highway noise

Perfect location for the Meadow brook amphitheater. Lots of food choices nearby. Hotel was clean good service good coffee bed was comfortable about 1o minutes from the amphitheater

we showed up for check in and they said expedia over booked the hotel by 23 reservations. so we drove 4 hours to find out that we did not have a room. they sent me my wife daughter and grand daughter walking. terrible

We came from Ohio for a special Birthday celebration. Our night's stay was horrible. I didn't get ANY sleep. The room above us made noise all night. Loud talking, heavy foot walking, sounds that sounded like furniture being moved, or possibly someone using a skateboard??, loud thumps and banging. Called front desk twice and went to the front desk at 4:20 AM and spoke with someone. When checking out the staff member said they could not refund or discount our stay. NO SLEEP ALL NIGHT!!!

Property was conveniently located for our needs. Maintenance came in timely manner. Breakfast was good.

We enjoyed our two night stay. The property was very clean and comfortable. Everyone at the front desk was friendly and helpful. Great location with everything we needed nearby. We would choose this property again for a future trip.

The Grand Tavern is perfect being next door.

Nice room, bed, bath, desk, TV, kitchen area. Did not like that we could hear noises from room above and beside which kept us awake at night. Cleaning could be better. A lot of hair was found in shower drain when we arrived. The next day our bed was not made.

Close to the highway.

The room and the hotel was very clean. My daughter was going to check into Marriott, but she changed her mind when I told her how nice, clean, modern and a better price. She decided to check in at Holiday Inn & Suites.

Very clean and convenient location walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Room was very clean with complimentary k-cups and Keurig coffee maker. Free hot and cold breakfast every morning with choices like omelette, serial, muffins, yogurt, juices, and hot coffee. The only issue I had during my stay is room was a bit noisy facing expressway and I could also hear people in rooms above and below me at night. Overall I would recommend this hotel and would stay again.

Quick and easy check in. Comfortable beds. Rooms could be a little cleaner.

Not good. Check in was slow. Keys wouldn’t work (machine down). Rooms were not very clean (dirty in corners). Coffee machines in rooms were not stocked. Missing towels. Hair dryer started to smoke. Got to breakfast at 7:45 AM . and much of food was gone. Staff was surprised when I notified that they were out of eggs and bacon. Pancake machine not working. No oatmeal. Bad stay!
