Staff at sign in desk could be more professional.

I had to call and complain that the floor we were staying smelled like something was dying. Turns out it was dirty linens that had been left in the hallway. For the next three days there was trash left in the same hallway that the janitorial crew walked over daily. The breakfast was mediocre and not kept up with. Daily when we went down they were out of items and were not restocking and began shutting down 30-45 mins before the close time. The hotel policy was room cleaning service every other day, but on our 6 day stay, we were only serviced 1 time and I had to call to have them come in for that. The hotel itself was nice, it was a shared building with the Hilton and that was less than convenient considering the walk from the required parking garage. The service provided could use work.

There was leftover food in the dresser drawer I called the front desk, he said he didnt know what to do, or how to handle this. Offered a different room, how do i know that the same cleaning staff "cleaned this room as well". Plenty of disinfectant and lysol at this point. It was only 1 night.

Upon arrival, the tile entrance to my room was very sticky. Although it had been cleaned, traces of a spill could still be seen in the entrance way and bathroom. I went back to the front desk to ask them if they could send someone to clean it, as it was grossing me out. They told me that the cleaning crew had gone home for the day, but that one of them would see if they could find a mop and see to it. After returning to my room later that night, the floor was cleaner, but still sticky. It remained so for the two days that I was there as rooms are cleaned every other day. Wasn't super thrilled about that but the rest of the room was clean and comfortable. The off-site parking situation was a little confusing and if I hadn't have rung the bell for help upon leaving the garage I would have been charged again even though I had already paid at the hotel ahead of time. The hotel is conveniently located and within easy walking distance of downtown attractions and the Kalamazoo Mall.

Staff was friendly. The hotel wasn’t very full yet we were placed with our window looking at the bright sign and illuminating the room even with the blinds closed. Bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. TV worked but nothing would play. There was hair in the shower and the bathroom door wouldn’t close all the way. Breakfast was not good and many things were out even with more than an hour before it closed. Be aware, parking is $20.

I love this place. Great location. The hotel had a very nice citrus aroma. The double queen bed room was large + comfortable + 3 different pillow types. Very clean! Complimentary Breakfast service was excellent! I would stay here again. It was a Monday and Bells Brewery was closed so we have a great, inexpensive meal at walking-distance ROCA.

Hotel is neat, bathroom is superb! Going out of parking is a challenge as cards don’t work.

Room was clean, bed was super comfy. Parking was inconvenient. There's a parking lot across the street but you have to pay $20 per day. If not you'd have to park on the street, which doesn't have lots of parking and since it's street parking you have to pay. Unless it's the weekend.

First time staying here. The staff was very helpful and everyone was kind to my children.
