Shadowcrest

Brendan was very friend. We had a very relaxing stay. We felt like we had the place to ourselves, it was so quiet. Bed was very comfortable so slept very well. Bath was nicely remodeled. It was the perfect location for us to attend a local wedding.

We had a great stay at Shadowcrest! Brendan was very communicative with the check in process and was very hospitable and friendly during our stay. He gave us some great local recommendations which we enjoyed. Shadowcrest was clean and made you feel right at home. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks Brendan for a great time!

The property was a beautiful old home. Original hard wood, but the best was the owner. He made everyone feel welcome. Great guy!

The building and furnishings were very tasteful and comfortable. I loved the antique feel and those lamps!!!! Host was just lovely and friendly. Breakfast was abundant. And the drive there was stimulating to say the least. Cute little street.

Lovely Victorian, spacious pretty room and comfortable bed. Bathroom was large and well equipped, except could use brighter light over the sink. The host was very friendly and accommodating. I look forward to visiting again.

Shadowcrest is a gorgeous 124-year old home and it is a wonder! Brendan made us feel right at home. My hubby and I had the Turquiose Room. It has a queen-sized bed which is SO comfortable. The bathroom is completely renovated with a heated floor, rainfall showerhead, a handheld shower and a stand-alone glass sink. Excellent amenities for your bathing pleasure. The room had a very mini fridge and microwave, a water heater for tea, plenty of mugs and glasses, bottled water, and other goodies. A nice sized TV is mounted on the wall. Parking is available in the lot across the street for free. Plenty of places to eat and things to do. Breakfast is served in the morning. We only stayed one night but will be back again. Thank you, Brendan!

The host was lovely, giving great suggestions for meals and for hiking.

This property was fantastic. Beds are so comfortable, and Brandan was very accommodating. We dined at the Print House that was in walking distance, and was delicious.

It felt like a home away from home. Brendan made me feel welcome.

Clean, quiet and friendly staff. The place is about 5 minutes drive from Belleayre ski resort.

Overall, it was a fantastic experience and I couldn’t thank Brandon enough for how welcoming and kind he was. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are visiting this area. I will definitely be coming back during my next visit!

Had a wonderful stay Fri-Sun in the Emory room. So convenient for ski days out at Belleayre Mountain, private, and comfortable. Shadowcrest had everything we needed and wanted. A beautifully, well preserved space that feels like home, clean bedsheets/bathroom/etc, warm water with great water pressure, chairs/ottomans/luggage rack to keep all our belongings off the floor, electric kettle, microwave, mini fridge, beautifully decorated common spaces to relax, and a dining room where you could grab a bite and cup of coffee for breakfast before an early morning on the slopes. Max and Brendan were so kind and helpful throughout booking, check in, and check out. Couldn't have asked for more and we're looking forward to our next stay!

Absolutely stunning house and as many others have said, Brendan could not be more gracious and responsive. This is my second time staying at Shadowcrest and I plan to return often. Shadowcrest will win your heart!!!

Really enjoyed my stay here at shadowcrest! Brendan was super communicative and responsive which definitely was helpful. The house was very cozy walking in to and so was the room. It was filled with amenities and the dining room and its snacks was definitely a nice perk! Would stay again next time when in the area!!

The house is a very charming and very old Victorian-style house with a turret on top and a matching rounded porch. The proprietor, Brendan, is a very sociable man who, unfortunately, had to be away for a couple of days on family business; he did return the evening before we departed and was apologetic about not being there to greet us.
