Clean and friendly

Fine for what it is. Very close to airport and metro, which is nice. Not anything else nearby so if you get in late in the evening plan to DoorDash Taco Bell or McDonald’s. There’s a Main Street you can uber to with a few pubs and things that stay open a bit later but nothing walkable. Nice rooms with microwave, mini fridge and complimentary bottled water, which was awesome since I arrived around 1am and didn’t want to go hunting for water. Would have loved to have a few extra pillows and blankets in the closet. Also, side note for cleaning staff: I arrived very late at night and I always set up my space when I arrive. I hung a fresh towel next to the shower, put a new washcloth out, etc. I didn’t shower until the following day around noon, after they had come to clean. I was surprised to see that they had taken the towels that hadn’t been used yet. If I had set them on the floor, I understand, but the towel was hung and the washcloth was still folded! Not a big deal or anything that affected my trip, but could have saved you the extra work! The room was very clean, breakfast was standard fare but tasty and good quality and appreciated that they had a bag check at the front desk for the morning that I checked out but didn’t have a flight until 8pm. Thanks for your hospitality!

I realize part of this is the fault of Dulles Airport: that the counter near the pick-up curb where you expect to find hotel shuttle information and rental car agencies was just a bare wall with no staff, that the accessibility services person pushed us through so quickly that we didn't have a chance to look for info inside the terminal, that there was no courtesy phone connected to local hotels. The INTERNATIONAL arrivals terminal should NOT have services predicated on the idea that everyone arrives with a functional smartphone! Nevertheless, the hotels know all this, and could be more proactive on the part of their guests to make sure that we don't fall through the cracks! When we finally took a taxi to the hotel after standing in the freezing cold for almost an hour, we were told that our booking should have said that we would need to call for the shuttle (it did not). We were told that the hotel's website says that you need to call to summon the shuttle (it does not). It would have been clear from our booking that we paid with a foreign credit card and reside in Germany, so the staff could have contacted us via this app to inform us of the need to call for a shuttle upon arrival, but they did not. We fell through the cracks, which made the end of an already exhausting day even worse. However, the management did reduce our bill by an amount comparable to the cost of the taxi, which was the right thing to do, and the reason why this review is not more scathing.

Rest rooms doesn't have locks and there is constant noise from next room and it is very loud when you have a room a door between two rooms.

It was great and reliable

Had a good night sleep. Room is clean and quiet. Only complaint is water leaking from the shower stall to the floor because there is a gap in the bottom of the sliding door.

I would’ve gave my stay a 10 + rating but the hotel personnel dropped the ball. The previous guess nada a mess with popcorn, the bed lamp was defective and the bathtub has a poor drain stopper

The room is equipped with a comfortable sofa, microwave, mini fridge, two beds for my family to sleep in, and a nice desk for studying or working.

The Front Desk Staff is exceptional. Very accommodating to all needs. Always has a smile on their face and very pleasant.

Our accessible room was spacious and well laid out. Staff were courteous and helpful. The free breakfast was actually delicious and the food area and dining room were very clean. It was very impressive.

Convenient

The room is quite small but clean ,the breakfast is average. The building is outdated. We just didn't like being asked for deposit without explanation, or when and how the money will be returned

Suite with sofa bed and kitchenette was a plus.

The staff from check in to check out was amazing. The shuttle service was amazing. The room was very clean. The hotel is close to everything from Target to Town Center and the metro. Great location and great experience.

I had an amazing stay at the Springhill Suites. The hotel is a short distance from Dulles International Airport, and walking distance from a Target, restaurants, the Reston Town Center, and metro stop. The hotel staff were incredibly helpful and kind and there is a free hotel shuttle that will take you anywhere within a 3 mile radius of the hotel. Complimentary breakfast was included. Rooms are very clean and quiet. Overall, it was a great stay!

I loved the unique layout of the room and the full kitchenette and lounge area. The bed was also really comfortable, and the thermostat responsive. Water pressure was great, too, and I loved how the integrated small things like chargers and bedside lighting. The only truly disappointing part was the breakfast -- I know 3-star breakfast buffets don't demand much, but the english muffin egg sandwich was spongy and dry at the same time, and the jalepeno cheese soufle wasn't worth the chews. Throw in some dried out turkey sausage for the third strike. I grabbed a bagel and paired it with a banana hidden in my carry-on. Enjoy your sleep and great water pressure, but skip the breakfast and you'll come out on top.
