The Jefferson Hotel

Absolutely grand hotel. Very nice and beautiful. Wish we could have stayed longer. Would stay again without question.

Wonderful stay. Incredibly welcoming and friendly staff from the moment we arrived, through check-in, concierge, restaurant and housekeeping. With every encounter, we were greeted with a friendly smile and courtesy.

The Jefferson is an enjoyable experience in every respect and it is hard to imagine anything better.

Everything was amazing!! We were there for a wedding weekend filled with festivities and fun!! The Jefferson did everything to perfection!!

Fabulous, historic property with elegant rooms. Opulent features/amenities and simple/quality tech options. Dining is elegant yet comfortable. Hospitality staff were super helpful and attentive. Self-parking was easy to access. secure, and reasonably priced.

The room was perfect except for the dog barking at 5am, and our neighbors talking at the top of thier lungs like they were outside.

Wonderful!!!

Stayed at The Jefferson for a 3 day weekend to reconnect with friends, Richmond was our 1/2 way meeting point and I had previously lived there & was familiar with the area so there was no question we would stay at The Jefferson. The complementary shuttles provided via The Concierge were so convenient for going to explore the vast array of wonderful dining options (much expanded since I lived in Richmond 20 yrs ago!), the area is safe and quiet and during the day we could easily walk to a variety of coffee shops and cafes for breakfast/southern brunch or afternoon snacks & cocktails. We did not dine at Lemaire but the menu looked wonderful and we did frequent the bar most evenings upon returning from our outings, drinks were delicious! The most wonderful thing about The Jefferson is the efforts the staff make to ensure their guests enjoy their stay. The hotel itself is a sight to behold, From the alligator statue and foliage at the main entrance to the amazing stained glass ceiling in the front lobby, the building is magnificent. Our service was impeccable, rooms are clean, updated nicely, and the beds were comfortable. We got massages at The Spa and they were heavenly! We will,definitely return to The Jefferson

This is our favorite hotel in Richmond - or anywhere, for that matter! The hotel public spaces are beautiful, the rooms are elegant and well appointed, and the service is outstanding. The Jefferson definitely earns its 5 star rating!
