The Tudor Arms Hotel Cleveland - a DoubleTree by Hilton

Met my expectations. Impressed with the shuttle service.

Nice

We were in Cleveland to be at the Taussig Cancer Institute. The location of the hotel is ideal! The shuttle service made it easy to access the hospital and restaurants within a 3 mile radius. The rooms are huge, clean, and very comfortable. The breakfast buffet included hot items and fresh fruit, not so in many other hotels. The staff was warm and friendly and willing to help us in anyway that they could. Will be returning in the future.

The shuttle driver John to the Cleveland clinic was so nice and helpful. Loved the warm cookies on arrival. All staff was caring.

I enjoyed the proximity to the conference center nearby, as well as to activities and amenities.

Parking was confusing when trying to determine where to go. The parking lot required a keypass. Reservation confirmation emails/texts should state there is a pull up area in front of the entrance along Carnegie. (high traffic street)

There was dyst bunnies all over our room. Bed was too hard. When we exited property several cars had been broken into.

Everything was great. Only complaint would be that the heat in our room wasnt great...we had the heat turned up as high as it would go and the room was still pretty cold overall.

Super cool architecture but from another era

Lovely older hotel with beautiful touches. Fixtures showed moderate wear but were very clean.

I love historic buildings. It's great to see this one lovingly restored. John the shuttle driver was a highlight in terms of staff service. Otherwise, staff was average in terms of efficiency and friendliness. The one server (female) in the bar around 7 pm on 2/5 was trying but needed help. Way too many customers for her to manage well. The lone server at breakfast on 2/6 was unfriendly and inattentive. She too was over-worked. The other issue was free breakfast. Website and hotels.com said it was free. Not true. Other customers and I had a rude awakening at breakfast. Please remedy the mis-information. Even my oncology social worker at Cle Clinic said this is a major perk at your hotel. I have updated her to stop telling patients about the non-existent free breakfast. Finally, why can't you provide refrigerators, other than in suites? This, plus mediocre hospitality from staff, is the primary reason I won't stay with you when I return for 1 week of radiation treatment in March. Need a fridge.

Blood stained comforter, nothing was done about it

The property was convenient to Cleveland Clinic which was located within walking distance.
